The Pink Box

I so badly wanted this to be my go to boutique :(. I came in here looking for jewelry for my wedding party and stumbled upon something for myself. The perfect hair accessory for my wedding day… Not !!! The item started to change colors and I thought no big deal I’ll go back and they will exchange it or they will give some sort of refund. I was wrong once again. The owner refused any kind of refund and was so rude and unprofessional (cussing). Little did she know I was going to come back in and buy jewelry for the my bridesmaids. The owner somehow found me on Facebook and messaged me about calling her to work something out. I was so upset that I didn’t care to deal with her again. Moral of the story the shop has some very cute things but the attitude of the owner will keep me away. p. s. I ended up finding a even better hair pin on etsy !

I’m originally from Akron, OH, which is where my sister currently lives. However, I live in Mississippi. My sister wanted a monogrammed beach hat from the Pink Box. So, I called them up and asked if they could mail my sister this hat. They said that it was no problem (foreshadowing alert!).
My sister’s birthday was May 3. I ordered the hat on the phone on April 17, and they assured me that e hat would make it up to Akron in plenty of time. I think it’s needless to say that my sister NEVER has received this hat, to this day… yes, it is June 15. It has been almost 2 months, and a hat has not made the four hour trip in a package in the mail.
But great news: my credit card got charged on the same day the original order was placed!
After about two months of talking to several airhead employees who I’m certain wouldn’t have known what day of the week it was if you asked, I finally spoke with the owner. She made several excuses as to why I didn’t receive it and promised to send it. Finally, after two months, I called one last time to which I found they had never even written down or entered a shipping address after I’d given it to about nine people on many different occasions. Also, the owner avoided my calls and never called me back after promising customer service.
So, lets recap: CREDIT CARD CHARGED. NO ITEM EVER SENT IN 2 MONTHS. LOTS OF SHADINESS.
DO NOT SHOP AT THE PINK BOX!!!

This is the best boutique in Cincinnati! They have unique jewels from any price point, whether it be earrings for $ 15 or $ 85 they are the experts on fun accessories! They also have an amazing selection of unique clothing items that are trendy and fun, best of all, at a great price point. It’s such a fun shop, you have to check it out! They also do cute gift wrapping.

The PInk Box has an adorable, unique selection of women’s accessories and clothing– so much fun to shop around, talk to the owners and leave with a special something. And it’s the best place to find a present for my niece, who is a pink-​a-​holic. They wrap purchases up nicely and put them in cute bags.
It’s pretty easy to park here, which is nice… so give it a shot!

The Pink Box is one of my favorite places to go when I am in a bad mood because you can not help but feel happy (and spend money) when you come here!
The Pink Box is nestled in the Maderia Shopping District and can almost be lost if you are not careful. They have a cute little awning, and free parking outside. They are a great boutique carrying items like scarves, jewelry, clothing, and bags. Honestly, I skip everything else and go straight to the jewelry! No other place in the city has the caliber, or uniqueness this place does. I swear their jewelry is the kind you think in your head you wish someone had and then you spend an entire week shopping at big box stores thinking, «How can I not find this??» Enter The Pink Box.
The jewelry is like nothing I have ever seen. There are very simple dainty pieces, and then big chunky beautifully crafted pieces. What I love even more is that they have a variety of colors. I don’t know about you but I am the type of girl that if I finally find what I like, I want it in every color. This place gives you that option.
The owner is amazing, very passionate. Don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions, or what’s popular she, or the staff will point you in the right direction. The prices are higher than other places but these are not earrings from Target that are going to break in 2 seconds. These are higher quality investment pieces that are going to last forever. Back to the old saying, you get what you pay for. And here the prices are still a steal for what you are getting!
I love everything about The Pink Box. If you have a dress you want to snazz up for an event, or just want an everyday necklace I highly suggest checking this place before anywhere else.

My favorite thing about The Pink Box was the lady working there! Absolutely charming and delightfully witty! She was a gem, which seemed fitting since it is mainly a jewelry store!
They have a great selection of fun costume jewelry from oversized cocktail rings to delicate brooches to dangly earrings all priced very reasonable. They also do customized jewelry if you want your name on it «Carrie Bradshaw» style.
You can also find hair accessories, purses, scarves, and a few clothing items as well. Again, all priced well and all with their own unique charm.
If you are looking for some fun browsing in Hyde Park Square without having to max out your credit cards, stop in The Pink Box, have a great chat and leave better accessorized!
