I really like this place. The food is very fresh. They prepare it exactly how I request it. The staff is super friendly. This is my new go to place. I think they do great business for a small diner, and I’m extremely selective where I eat.

My second visit to the Eagle Diner was my LAST. I wasn’t overly impressed with the food the first time, but thought the place deserved another chance. The service was good the second time, but ONLY the service. The server needs more English classes. I had a hard time understanding him, and he had a hard time understanding me. It shouldn’t be so difficult to order breakfast. My tomato juice was served with ice in it. Then I was served a gross looking omelette. It turned out to be someone else’s. The server then brought mine, which was lukewarm and not very good. I was hungry, so I ate part of it. The server seemed surprised that I didn’t finish it, and didn’t want to take the rest home. I told him«it’s edible» when he asked if everything was OK. I guess he didn’t understand. I won’t be going back.

Love it here ! Been dying to try this place ! Food is delicious. Came out so speedy too ! Pancakes were huge ! They cooked everything just how we wanted it. Service was lovely. It was quiet and clean. Really… No complaints. Might be a new favorite.

I have very mixed reviews about this place. Keep in mind I usually go late night so this may not ring true for the rest of the day. First the staff is excellent they are friendly personable and pretty cool. The food is pretty freaking good too there hadn’t been anything I ordered that I didn’t like. This is where the downside comes in. Not one did they give me the right order and one time I actually had to explain how to make something that was actually on their menu that they didn’t know how to make. Lolol all and all it has been a good experience because even with the wrong food it was still really good. They seem like they aren’t fully put tohether yet and that could also be the problem. My girlfriend ordered a Sunday and they didn’t have nuts cherries or have any idea how to make one. They tried and it was good but just keep that in mind lol

0 stars. The service is great but the food is awful. Paying for it now with an upset stomach. Ordered a cup of chicken soup which was more like a cup of bland grease. Ordered the mozzarella sticks which were semi cold with tasteless breading. The marinara sauce was under-seasoned. It was basically chunky canned tomatoes. The cook probably put more effort into opening the canned tomatoes than actually creating the sauce. Ordered the lamb gyro… Took ONE bite and had to spit it out. There was sand all over the lettuce in my sandwich. Nothing like the taste of gritty sand to end a meal. French fries unfortunately came with the gyro. These fries fell apart as I chewed them. Literally like globs of starch. Not to mention, I could taste the frying oil which was cringe-worthy. If you don’t care about taste and quality you’ll be fine at this diner. But on rt 130 there are SO many better options. Do your body a favor and avoid this place. Would not eat here again even if they paid me. So much for trying out the new place. Sticking to the other AMAZING and CONSISTENT diners on rt 130. Definitely not worth the stomach pain now.

The server was really nice and friendly so I feel bad about saying how much I didn’t like the food. I got an omelette with cheddar cheese and spinach with wheat toast. The cheese was definitely the gross packaged sliced cheese because I couldn’t taste any sharpness at all and it was just rubbery and i scraped it off my omelette. The bread was soggy and prebuttered so I gave that away too. I left feeling my stomach unsettled. Maybe I’m getting too picky. The home fries were fine they were potatoes cut up instead of fries or wedges so no complaints there. Atmosphere was clean and the staff were friendly so if you’re not as picky about flavors and the quality of your cheese and bread itll probably be fine for you.

I had such high hopes for this place because it’s close to home for me. The décor looks like they went to an old diner and took all the worst parts(imagine everything you would redo about a 50 year old diner) and installed it here. We hoped the food would be better. No. Our order didn’t come out right, the food was blah and not well flavored or cooked and I didn’t even want to finish my omelette — how do you make an omelette taste bad? In addition, they aren’t allergy friendly at all so if you have a food allergy stay away.

Place is very small and loud. Looks like a camp cafeteria. They messed up my order but the waitress was very friendly and they took it off the bill. The omelette was gross. Bathroom was even worse.

My barber told me a new diner had opened where the old Bo’s Wok used to be. He said they stopped for sandwiches and they were very good. I asked about the soup and he said it was good.(Good soup, good food) Sooooooooo I had to give it a shot as I’m always looking for new places to eat. I went in early, about 4:30, and was greeted and seated promptly. I ordered chicken and pasta soup and chicken parm w/spaghetti. The soup was ok but the pasta part had turned to mush. Apparently left over from lunch and cooking away since then. The chicken parm was huge covering a large portion of spaghetti.(would it hurt to put one or the other on another plate?) The breading was mushy and unseasoned. The spaghetti was over cooked. The sauce was non-discriped. The roll was good and so was the soda. The turnaround time from order to delivery seemed a bit too quick.(pre-cooked?) I had the feeling the Eagle Diner used to be at another location, and for some reason(??), they closed down and moved here. A message to diner owners: «Less quantity, more quality»

Special today was all you can eat chicken & dumplings. Yum. Seated quickly and manager immediately came to reseat us as he noticed my girlfriend was chilly under the AC vent. The waiter was equally as attentive. We were there early for the specials so the dumplings took a bit of time, but it was worth the wait! Nothing like fresh dumplings. I only had two servings, but that was plenty. I had already had a nice salad on a pretty decent little salad bar stocked with lots of fresh topping and sides. We topped it off with sharing a rice pudding. Wow! Perfect. 5-star diner experience for a reasonable price.

Looking for a quick and easy meal and this place fit just right for the hubby and I. My husband had just commented on wanting navy bean soup and was pleased they had it; mixed with a few veggies and the beans just the right texture. I ordered chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was stuffed with chicken crisped just right. Hubby ordered crispy chicken wrap which was also delicious for we shared ½ of each other’s to maximize our tasting experience. I took my soup to go because our meals both came with fries and slaw. Portions were sizable yet not overwhelming. Easy going prices as well only $ 23.50 for both our meals and drinks. We will surely return because the atmosphere was relaxing.

Wife and I stopped in for a quick bite for Dinner. The atmosphere is nice as is the lighting. We ordered up and the food came quick. Chicken Parmesan sandwich & Crispy Chicken wrap. Portions were just right as they came with soup, fries and slaw. We shared our meals to get a little variety. Both were very good. We had Raspberry ice tea which was just the right sweetness. Total under $ 24 not counting tip. I’m sure we will be back to sample other menu items.

I have tried this diner twice– first opening weekend for breakfast and now this evening for a comfort food dinner after a painful Eagles loss. I was very impressed with how smoothly everything seemed to run. We were greeted, seated, and provided menus in short order upon our entry. Our server(Dawn) promptly took and delivered our drink orders. Gone was the confusion and hustle and bustle of opening weekend– this place has seemingly found its groove. I ordered a patty melt(sub veggie burger), and my husband got eggplant parm with linguine. Technically eggplant parm wasn’t on the menu(but an eggplant parm panini was), but Dawn told us it wouldn’t be a problem. The salad bar is beautifully-stocked, with the usual salad fixins plus a few bean and pasta salads(which I had to help sample for this review of course). All were fresh and tasty. Toasted dinner rolls and butter were brought to the table as well. My patty melt was really good– full of Swiss cheese and sautéed onion goodness— mmmm. And the fries? Didn’t even need to dip them, they were so good. My husband’s eggplant parm was good also– thinly sliced(and I do admit it would probably be best on a panini). The sauce was good, and the pasta was obviously cooked to order, lacking the dead worm look that unfortunately plagues most diner pastas. I had to try rice pudding for dessert, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was creamy and had the right amount of cinnamon. Overall, the portions are generous, the staff is attentive(but not annoying or hovering), and the salad bar is a definite plus. I think we have found our new local diner. Keep up the great work guys!

My husband and I went for breakfast. It was late afternoon though, however we were not informed of dinner specials like the diners next to us. Waitress was nice, but forget to refill my coffee a couple times. when our food was brought out, she forgot our toast and side of scrapple. Took several minutes to come out, and the toast was more like warm bread. The breakfast for both of us was just«ok». Prices were reasonable, though. Worth driving another 5 minutes down 130 to the Rt. 130 diner, to which this place doesn’t even come close.

Really great diner. Our server Paul was amazing!!! Little salad bar they have was great. Only six bucks. Gotta love that. Hubby got a side of home fries in addition to his entrée and they took up a whole big plate by themselves! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Newly opened. Had to wait a little too long for a simple breakfast but the server was very sorry about that. No problem. When it came it was very good. We will be back.

Attended the grand opening and I was glad I went. I had the prime rib, it was very tender and the best carrot cake. My waitress was Stefanie and she was very pleasant and attentive. I will be going back!

Went here for lunch today, Sept 13th, at noon. Was placed in the back room that was dark and very gloomy. Asked waiter if we could sit in front room that was sunny and bright. Got up to find hostess and, behind my back, that waiter rudely called me a «fat son of a bitch». My sister heard him and called him rude. We left after telling the manager that his waiter was very rude & nasty. Don’t go here if you want a pleasant experience. Especially if a small request like changing to another table, sets them off to such unpleasantness!
