I wish I could give –5 stars! For 3 stressful days and sleepless nights, BofA was threatening to debit $ 251.09 from Social Security for an overpayment over my mother’s death 3 years ago!!! I got the notice 3 years ago, went down to Social Security personally, wrote them a check for that amount and figured that would be that… SS didn’t want the money now because I don’t owe it and despite having the cancelled check in their database, BofA would not find it. I found it and they said I had to fax it to them with the letter(THEYSENT) to prove it paid! WHATLAZYMORONS; if you start/continue banking there you deserve what they get away with ABUSING their customers.

There is plenty of parking, three ATM machines outside, and a security guard at the front door. The staff is quick, friendly and efficient. I just wish they had extended hours.

I used to bank at Bank of America, but this experience has just proven to me once again why I no longer do. I came in here because there was no close WaMu and it was almost near 6pm before closing. I wanted to cash a $ 400 bonds and I’ve done it many times before at other banks(Wells Fargo, Bank of America, CitiBank, etc) First i gave the bonds to a clerk and she asked me if I banked with B of A and when I told her I don’t, she started, for some reason«interrogating» me about my judgement, asking«why don’t you,» and«who do you bank with», and stating«well we’re the top rated» and ohh«Wamu is bankrupt, why do you feel comfortable there.» Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the questioning, but the way she was asking me(with attitude) and explaining how B of A is a billion times better made me feel a little bit degraded because I was banking a much lesser I guess«quality» in her opinion, bank company. After waiting for about 5 minutes to confirm if bonds could be cashed there, she continues to fight for her cause to transform all the non– B of A customers to B of A. But seriously, c’mon! you’re trying to get customers by pressuring them in a harassing way… uhh I don’t think so! By the way, WaMu was bought out by Chase which probably makes much better off than it was before.
