The street tacos are so good! My 3 year old asks to eat here because he loves the chips and dip and quesadilla! Highly recommend!

This restaurant has great food, however the service I received my second time there was horrible. The lady taking my order was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be there at all. I will be coming back again because I enjoy the tacos, I just hope the next cashier isn’t as rude as this one was.

This was my first experience here. First impression is their prices seem way too high for a taqueria, this was the most expensive taqueria I have been to so far –1 star. The staff was not at all friendly and very cold –1 star. BUTTHEFOOD was a very good and fresh +2 stars. My order was ready in about four minutes and was still very warm when I took it home +1 star. Over all I may be back for their daily specials but their tacos which is what I really wanted to try were the typical small type but were like $ 3.70 something… so needless to say I am still hungry because I was not going to spend $ 15 on a few tacos…

Love La Fiesta. Nothing super fancy but consistent good Mexican food. A step above the average taqueria. We especially love it when a lady makes hand made tortillas. It seems to be on Saturdays. They are so good and spongy. Also I really love the California burrito. I know everyone has a California burrito but this one is extra good with guacamole and sour cream. It’s always seasoned very nicely. And enough to fill you up! They also have a nice salsa bar and good horchata!

The shrimp tostada is a must try, not the tiny itty bitty shrimp, gosh, my gosh it was as good as eating a shrimp cocktail, the carrot/orange smoothie is so refreshing; in addition, the table next to ours had the ceviche, looked good. Staff is SO friendly and nice. They are as fast as Speedy Gonzalez… never need to say«ándale»

I’m quite pleased with their fast service. They have a salsa bar filled with fresh delicious chips and different varieties of salsas. But I’m not impressed with the over cooked, mushy spanish rice. I was expecting the quality of the burrito to be outstanding since its coming from a taqueria. BUT the burrito itself was still delicious, I’m just hoping for my next visit their rice won’t be as mushy as mashed potatoes! The total order came out to be $ 6.99 for the carne asada super burrito. Reasonable prices and right portions.

Well used to be our favorite place for good cheap authentic Mexican food. They have a chip and salsa bar that I wish every taco shop had. They used to have Pico de gallo at the chip bar but hasn’t been there my last few visits over 4 months. Minus a star cause I used to love to put a heap of that on my taco and chips. Also prices have gone up! You’d know if you were once a regular or if you see all the white out covering the old prices. While still reasonable these two things have driven me away. If I’m in the area I consider it, but no longer go out of my way for it.

I’ve been here a few handful of times for a quick bite for eat in or take out. Consistently consistent with food quality and service. Prices are good; great quality for the money. Great for a quick casual meal that’s not typical fast food. It’s down the way from Sprout’s at the corner of Greenback and Sunrise(next to the wings place and the barn for dresses and the place with more than just beverages). In fact, this taqueria is around the corner in the same center as that book store I reviewed a couple days ago. Back on track … help yourself chips and salsa(s) whether eating in or taking out. Order at the counter(fairly flexible menu matching meats et al with whatever your style be it taco’s, burritos, bowl, nachos, etc). Choose a plate(beans, rice, combo) or a la carte. Take your number and grab a seat; they’ll bring the food to you. Over the last few years I’ve most of what their menu offers(with some exceptions that I just don’t do, no matter where). I’m a fairly unoriginal mexican food eater, sticking to what I know. Not sure why their website disowns this location.

This place has mastered decent Mexican food for a «fast food» type of setting. Every time I come here, my husband and I split the carnitas taco salad. It is insanely delicious and is more than enough for us to share! My one disappointment is that they don’t have pico de gallo at their salsa bar? Very sad because that’s one of my favorite items :(

I come to this place for the shrimp cocktail and Iove it! Only downfall is sometimes the tails are left on– but that’s sort of the traditional way. I love their burritos and they still use white cheese. Yum. Free chips and salsa. Bathrooms just got remodeled and look way better than before!

Finally found a good fast Mexican place in Citrus Heights. I moved 2 years ago from Roseville where I lived across the street from Jalisco Mexican Grill and was spoiled! I was going to the Wing Stop right next to this place and saw the large number of people eating here all the time. I also noticed a lot of Spanish/Mexican people eating here and my Mexican grandma always told me to look for that to tell if a place is authentic Mexican food, and this place definitely is. The Carnitas is so far my favorite, its flavorful and its extra crispy like it should be not mush! The Al Pastor had good flavor as well as decent spice. The only down spot is the chile verda, it was good but to messy as it was to much sauce so I wouldn’t recommend this meat in the burrito maybe as a platter or something else. I would also recommend avoiding this place at lunch time on Sat as they are always packed, I try to get there after 1:30pm and have never waited more that 5 to 10 min for my food.

I was little hesitant to try another taqueria. Saw this place driving by and decided to come in for lunch. It was packed. The line was outside and all tables were taken. Ordered carñesada platter, ceviché and a menudo to go. So much food and it was delicious! I have to sat the highlight of this was the menudo. I like to take it home and have it for lunch the next day. I was happy to find out there was an abundance of tripe and no hamony. I don’t care for hamony, LoL. So good! I will be a regular for the menudo especially the few days before a major winter holiday or when someone has the cooties in my house. Menudo makes you feel better!

Their el pastor is the best I’ve tried this side of Sac, its so flavorful. Put this in their super burrito or street taco and you have yourself a winner. Their salsa bar features 4 types of salsa, a pico de gallo, and all the chips you can eat. Their salsa verde has the creaminess of avocados and is a great pallet cleanser in between tacos. I saw they had fresh fruit smoothies but I did not try it this time. I will definitely be a regular patron of this establishment!

Amazing! My burrito was $ 8.85 and it’s very comparable with a $ 15.00 burrito at a sit down restaurant. The salsa bar is incredibly fresh, and complimentary with purchase! Did I mention they have margaritas? Well they do! But seriously though, this burrito is a 10!

Been here like years ago and decided to stop by with my hubby for a burrito. It was pretty busy at 8 pm last night. I ordered vegetarian burrito which was pretty decent size. I ate it all! Didn’t realize how hungry I was. It was pretty good I would say. My husband enjoyed his chicken nutrition as well. Will come back if we will be craving more Mexican food.
