This is my all time favorite bar to go to. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is because of the karaōke(they have it 7 nights a week). The guy who runs karaōke on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays is AWESOME! He goes by The Cracker and runs a great show. He cracks jokes, dances, sings, and make sure everyone is having a good time. If it’s your first time he will make sure you feel welcome. All the staff is great there, but he takes the cake.

Great atmosphere, the inside was weird but the party is definitely in the back. Music was decent, the prices at the bar were decent and the crowd was really chill. I heard that this place could get rowdy but I must have went on a really good day. I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have food but what are you gonna do. ALWAYS take and Über there, you will be drinking and dancing and with no food you might not want to drive under those conditions. I had a great time and I’m sure you will too. Oh and shout out to «cracker”(yes, this is what he said his name was) He was so kind to fix and tune on a heat lamp. My friend and I tried to tip him but he refused, and going back and forth about him not taking the money, we refused to take it back and he said he would give it to the bar tenders and we said ok. What an awesome guy for going out of his way and doing all of that for us because we were chilly. We loved him. Thanks«Cracker».

It’s unfortunate when you have a couple of really cool people working here then about 7 morons. I’ve been coming to this place for years and there’s always been something whether it’s being charged someone else’s tab, random dress code stipulations at random times or just terrible customer service which is quite unfortunate because the place has got potential. I was there the other night and some bartender Rob or Rod, pretty sure he was on drugs because he was a little too intense for my taste. He was extremely aggressive and condicending to my girlfriend when she was asking about our tab. He was disgusting and extremely tacky. Maybe he should work not at a bar and around people in general? Or maybe rehab will do the trick. Either way, worst customer service experience last week. Definitely not going back ever again. I know this post will be taken lightly because a boat load of people all have the same complaints. You’d think a business would take criticism from the public and allocate it accordingly.

Back in the day — I used to come to this bar a lot. I guess we can call it my swinging single days… lol. My husband and I came into Rocky’s recently after having the family dinner and needed some alcoholic relief. When I walked in — nothing had really changed. The décor is the same, as is the small bathroom in the front of the bar. Nothing too wow factor really. It was a slow night so we were able to find seats right in the bar area. I remember the bartender was a bar back(long time ago) and I was surprised to see that he still worked there. Blond hair, light blue eyes — can’t recall the name. He served us promptly, didn’t recognize me(I am okay with that) — and that was that. But that was my point i.e., «that was that.» Service was fine and we ordered Kamikaze’s but the drinks were underwhelming(not that great) and the cost of the drinks were actually quite high considering I came get a Kami cheaper at other bars nearby. Also — the bartender was really not talking to the customers, just serving drinks. On a slow night, if you want me to spend more money in your establishment — at least talk to me. I am not asking for a dissertation on world peace but give me SOMETHING to talk about. And — that was that.

This is my favorite local bar and I’ve been coming here for years. It is such a unique little place you just have to check it out because you’ve probably never been to a bar like it. First off, the inside bar is your typical neighborhood dive bar– lots of memorabilia hanging on the wall, karaōke 7 nights a week, juke box, t. v’s small dance floor. Outside is the hidden gem– they have a large backyard with an out door bar, huge covered dance floor, three VIP areas, fire pit, tables and heating lamps. They’re is a sand volleyball court for summertime and I’ve seen corn hole out as well. They do really fun special throughout the week and lots of time have food(though they don’t sell) Fri and Sat nights outside there is a DJ out back and the dance floor is usually pretty full. On Saturday nights they have an amazing BBQ truck out front and sometimes food trucks on Fridays. During the weekdays it is a super chill place to grab a cold one. I love going on a nice summer night and hanging outside with my friends.

It was a nice place. Went here with my friend and her coworkers for 2 for 1 Tuesdays. Affordable and tasty, sort of a dive bar kind of place. I wish the seating was a little more comfortable, but the bartenders make up for it. The girls working the bar are really nice. I’d come back if the want to drink at a bar arises again.

Such a fun place to come hang out, have a few drinks with friends. Karaōke in the front and a dance floor with full DJ in the back. Huge backyard and great drinks and 2 full bars!

If I could give negative stars on here I would! My family and I have been coming here for years now! Mind you we always come in a BIG group and give them great business! However, after last night we will NEVER return here. We got kicked out because my brother in law did not«pick up his pants» while DANCING! When you’re dancing and jumping around everywhere of course pants will tend to fall down! The security guard admitted that it was because his pants were falling. Another security guard he was short and white SUCKERPUNCHES my brother without any APPARENTREASON causing him to fall down due to the unexpected PUNCH! HEDIDNOTHITANYSECURITYGUARD! No one threatened nor touched any security guard in any type of PHYSICALFORM! After my brother falls to the groud LEO another security guard DECIDESTOMACE my boyfriend that was 50 feet away in the face for again NOAPPARENTREASON! I asked LEO why he sprayed him and he states«he was coming after my boy». He was trying to help my brother get up after being punched. We will be contacting the owner and the Better Buisness Bureau to file a complaint! Security guards may think they have the upper hand but when it involves someone’s life and well being they need to take full responsibility for their actions!

I’ve been coming here since before I turned 21 lol(with a fake ID of course), I have had some pretty good times here. But over the years I try to stay away from coming by on the weekends. If anything I rather stop by on a week night to catch a game and have a beer when the parking lots are empty and screaming for someone, anyone out there to stop by lol please! At least the indoor bartenders are pretty cool and don’t try to water down the drinks like they do outside. But as some of the Unilocalers below have stated, the bouncers here are pretty douchey. They seem to all walk around with a chip on their shoulder and definitely lacking all professional experience other than brawling skills. I watched a guy get his ass beat by someone out front(friend of the bouncer because they were all standing there watching too) and when the dude’s(guy on the ground) buddy came in to break it up, the bouncer told him he was going to get his ass beat too if he jumped in. The buddy rushed in anyway and ended up getting choked out until he was unconscious by the bouncer. I mean shit, the guy was just trying to rescue his buddy from getting his face mashed in and ends up getting demolished too. Typical cowardly act if you ask me. Anyway, the main reason I am giving this place a shitty review is because the bouncers don’t know how to properly screen their clientele. First off, I don’t drink much but maybe a couple times per month and it’s usually while I’m watching sports. But anyway I stopped by on my way home from the gym one Friday evening because it was another friend’s Bday that night and they were all there having a good time. I just wanted to stop by and say hi and buy a round for my friend. Mind you, I came from the gym… wearing an under armour hoody, moisture wicking lol workout pants and my highlighter running shoes. They wouldn’t let me in that night because my pants??? I mean I didn’t know gangbangers or gun toting drug dealing hood figures wore moisture wicking workout pants lol to the bar these days but I guess I don’t go out enough to know what the new ghetto fashion statement is, on the mean streets of Citrus Heights! Maybe they weren’t baggy enough(because lord knows workout pants these days are pretty much made of nylon & spandex material). Maybe because the bouncers are grown men making $ 10 per hour but whatever the reason, it’s beyond my brain’s comprehension to grasp lol.

I’ve never been here till last Halloween 2015 and It was okay however the only thing was the people there were kinda mean, very stuck up, and the bartender wasn’t very nice either, Drinks were watered down. Not a very nice selection from the karaōke song list and the dj spun some terrible music.

This place has a really cool concept, indoors for those who love karaōke and more of a country type feel then they have the outdoors for dancing and so forth(outside tends to attract ghetto people). The cover charge is higher than normal, especially for this area, however I get it because it keeps cheap people out– therefore maintaining less ghetto people. Drinks are super pricey, so if you want to have a good time here– Pre Drink! The outside drinks are quite small, I’d say about 6 ounces and they fill it with tons of ice– so the drinks aren’t anything to brag about. On a good note: Bartender Jeremy is a really good drink maker and I like to go to him for my drinks.

Love this place and is close to my house. My favorite bartenders are Eric and Jeremy! I love coming on Wednesdays which happens to be my day off they have $ 3 drink specials starting at 6pm. I also like that they have karoke night Monday and Wednesdays that I know of. I like a more mellow crowd and if you do too weekdays are good to come in. Weekends get too crowded so I try to avoid Friday and Saturdays there. I wish they had more parking but you know it’s a good place to go to if they run out of room to park ;)

I’d prefer not to get in to the gory details — but a week ago I was kicked out of this bar after a drunk man) apparently friend of the bouncer, grabbed and twisted MY arm and asked me in some not so nice terms to «have some fun». I was kicked out because I swung my free arm and knocked his hat off his head. I told them I was trying to find my friend to leave as it was, and if I could just close my tab and leave, it would be fine. The bouncer, an overgrown creep, grabbed me and pushed me out the door. I’m 5’3″. Not a big girl. They used excessive force and in pushing me, I dropped and shattered my phone. I went in the front door to close out my tab and two large bouncers followed me and were causing a scene. Not so sure what they thought I was going to do, as I was visibly distraught. But basically, eff these people. They have no regard for their customers. Pure trash.

The sad thing is that we came here all the time and never had any issues but we will now NEVER come back because of an issue we had with a security guard named Kane. We arrived at the 7440 with one of our friends at about 12:30 to grab a quick beer and were told we would have to pay an 8 $ cover to enter. My friend remarked that 8 $ was a little steep for that late in the night then paid the cover apparently that pissed off the bouncer who became very rude and then said why don’t you just get your money back and«get the fuck out of here then». We were all a little shocked at that response so we turned around and left. I was always under the impression that bouncers were to diffuse situations not create them apparently that is not the case with certain employees here.

Extremely rude security guard named Kane, will harass you any time he can, and if you step out of the establishment on Saturday when the food truck is there good luck getting back in… don’t wear military shirts, he hates vets, and refuses to let you park in the parking lot. …

One of the bars in Citrus Heights. Parking in the lot or streets nearby. Get yourself carded on the way in. Staff is pleasant and friendly. Find yourself a bartender inside and on weekends outside. Several various areas to order drinks. Staff efficiency varies. Drinks are ok. Darts, pool, music are just a few things. Music to dance to. Somedays there is karaōke. Large outdoor area Usually plenty to do or see to cater to all crowds. Good experiences overall.

I was surprised that I liked this bar because every time I have driven past it there are some strange people outside. There are several parts of the bar so it divides to cater to a variety of people. There’s karaōke in the front and really nice bartenders. The second part has more seating and a pool table. The best part was the outside which includes the dance floor with a pole lol. The back part is huge and has all kinds of seating and more bars. Lovely ladies walk around selling test tube and Jell-O shots which were good. There’s even a little snack bar on the side for after drinking munchies.

This is a cool place, if you don’t go past the karaōke part of the bar. There is a LARGE patio, but it so uneven and just plain bad for people who are drunk. They have an outside dance floor, but it gets crowed and there is always some kind of fight. The crowd can be pretty ghetto in the back, but is mostly chill in the front — where the karaōke is. Make sure you don’t lollygag once the night is over, the bouncers mean business to get people TFO once the night is over. Seriously just get out, or you will get yelled at.
