Great pizza! All fresh ingredients, add as many ingredients as your heart desires! This location had great speedy service. Light thin crust which is perfect for dinner, you don’t leave here feeling too full.

Once upon a time I thought Pieology was an awesome concept. To be frank, it still is. After all, who doesn’t love pizza made right in front of you exactly how you want it? Well, the problem with being first is that other places can seize on the gameplan, but improve on it. That’s where I find myself with Pieology now, as it has clearly been surpassed by Pizza Studio(same gameplan, but better overall quality) and 800 Degrees(more expensive, but much better ingredients options). Yes, I can get as much cheese/meat/veggies as I please. But it is a pretty big buzzkill when your crust cannot support the pizza at all and you have to hold it up in a certain way without it flapping around like a fish out of water. And before anyone tells me that you can’t generate a good crust in this kind of environment, I strongly suggest you take a look at Pizza Studio before making that call. Still a Pieology fan and it is quite convenient for myself that it is down the street from where I live. But better options and quality control have both warranted a re-evaluation of my original thoughts.

pizza is good and inexpensive but as I’m watching the guy make my pizza I notice he’s cleaning trash from the floor and dusting a floor mat and then goes off to make more pizzas without washing his hands and wearing no gloves, not sanitary. I told the cashier and she seemed to get annoyed

On my old Unilocal account, I gave this place five stars. I love the pizza and come here frequently ever since it opened(Walnut too), but it’s very clear that the service here has gone down. The tables are almost always dirty, workers seem like they clearly don’t want to be working, portion sizes are smaller, everything is just going down. Pieology is still great, but no where near where it used to be. Pros: NAIMANAIMANAIMA. Such a doll, she is by far my favorite pieologist. She’s always very happy and helpful. I don’t remember all of their names, but there are a few others who genuinely seem like they love their job. That’s always a great bonus. Sarah is one of my favorites as well(I think she’s now the manager) Cons: I basically went over them in the first part of this review Overall, I highly recommend this place. The unlimited-topped pizza is phenomenal.

This is probably the worse Pieology I’ve gone too. Today, I went in around 12:30PM and I was annoyed with the girl that was making my pizza. She kept on rushing me what I wanted and didn’t even put much on my pizza. The pizza dough wasn’t even fully round and it was burnt when we got it. Also the cashier looked moody/cranky and didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. I would mention his name but I’m not going to do it. This is ridiculous and I’m not coming back to this one anymore. Be happy that you guys have a job.

I’m not a huge pie person. But my family … More specifically –my daughter is never tired of pizza and she has a legit recipe! She gets the bbq pizza with pineapples and extra Gorgonzola cheese… Yummmmm She also adds bacon and chicken. The service and friendliness of the staff at this location(the only one I’ve been too) is great! On your first trip here it can be overwhelming trying to create the perfect pizza with all the toppings and sauces and such but just stick with the things you like and add a different flavor to it, and your pizza won’t be craZy. I did too much and I didn’t like it at first… I tried a white sauce with garlic and butter and spinach and ricotta. Yikes! Not so good hahah but after staying in my comfort zone than adding a different surprise ingredient I was so pleased with the outcome! Such a fun restaurant to bring these pizza loving kiddos!

I love Pieology. Yes there are multiple locations, but seriously, this has become my favorite create your own pizza place. It’s basically a Subway for customized pizza. The crust is my favorite, crispy and thin. It’s like they researched and found the best concoction for crust. The toppings are great, I personally love a modified Alfredo’s Alfredo with meat on it. Also, basil after bake is key. Anyway, so good… definitely addicting!

Time to update my review… I used to really love Pieology but now the quality of their pizza sucks. I went to The Pizza Press in Fullerton last week and now I can really tell the difference. I ordered 2 pizzas from Pieology and it took forever. I won’t be coming back to this place anymore.

Every pizza I’ve had has been delicious and full of toppings! Just like Subway or Chipotle, build your pizza your way. Best of all, it’s cheap. I love this place, and they’re not stingy with ingredients.

I really don’t know what to say about this place. I’ve been here before and never had an issue until last Thursday. I can understand when there is a large company order that has been made, things can seem tough, but the employees made sure to show everyone who was waiting in line they were in a bad mood. There was 1 manager or supervisor there. She has blonde hair and was pretty much in charge of cutting the pizzas and placing them in the boxes. There was another lady who was the cashier and she had a bad attitude to the man who made that large order, who I’m assuming was a manager of a company, buying lunch for his staff. The cashier was beyond rude to him when he asked if names were written on the boxes so he’ll know who’s who’s. She immediately said no! Now, honestly with an order that huge, why wouldn’t you write the customers name on them and not have them guess which pizza is theirs? The manager then stepped in and said that the boxes did have names on them, in the order they were made so there would be no mix up and be easily accessed. Then another employee came in, a female with blonde hair and glasses. She was flattening the pizza crust and placing the sauce and cheese on. She then made some rude remark about how she had to help the customers in line first before the pre-orders and she said this to the manager! Overall, I came into the store a little bit before 11am and I waited over 20 minutes. The only employees who did a great job was the gentleman who was placing the toppings on your pizza and the one who was placing the pizzas in the oven. I don’t know how things are in ideology, but this team, especially the females NEED to work on their customer service skills!

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly impressed. I would describe this place a place very similar to Chipotle but for pizza. There is a simple menu you can choose from with Pieology signature pizzas, or you can customize your own. I had the Mad to Meat You which was red sauce topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, meatballs and olive oil. I added bacon and ham, it was absolutely delicious and only took about 10 minutes to be cooked in their oven. I can definitely say I am a fan and that I will be coming back. There are a few things I would do to make it better. First I would have like to have some beer with my pizza. Preferably dark/amber, but something that pairs well with the pizza. If Chipotle/Baja and other restaurants serve beer with their food, I’m sure Pieology could as well. Second is better music. No one goes to a restaurant for the music, but it is immediately obvious when the background music needs to change. I can’t remember exactly what genre of music was playing, but I do remember at one point while I was eating, I wished there was different/better music along with it also not being so loud. It almost made it hard to talk with my girlfriend. Lastly I know we came in late, about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff wasn’t to nice, and the tables/floors we dirty from napkins/parmesan/red peppers. I had to wipe down and clean up my own table. All in all, I will definitely be coming back, just home to see some changes in the future.

I have been looking forward to trying a Pieology Pizzeria for a long time. While visiting family I was excited to run across this location and walked in with my family for dinner. We got the kids a cheese pizza to share, which was very reasonably priced. My wife and I shared a custom pizza and a Cesar salad. The prices where very reasonable all the way around. There was a bit of a line, but it went quickly and we created our pizza. With the long line we assumed it would be a while until we got our pizza; however, we were pleasantly surprised that it came out of the oven and to our table very quickly. The crust was thin, crunchy and supper tasty with their herb and butter spread. For me the crust was the highlight of the pizza. The sauce and toppings were just ok. I was a bit saddened and felt a bit limited by their toppings. The other build your own pizza places I have visited have had many more options which I was expecting from Pieology. In the end, Pieology was OK, nothing really wrong with it and nothing that really put them over the top for me.

Make your own pizza for about $ 8. Who doesn’t like pizza and who doesn’t like a one where you can make your own without breaking the bank. As far as the pizza itself, it feels middle of the road that appeals to everyone. It’s not like pizza in NYC or Chicago. It’s very thin neapolitan and a bit generic. To be honest, I really miss the old neighborhood pizza places in the area(Barros and Round Table) that had a vibe to them. Pieology seems so… Chipotle(which is across the street btw). Still, change is good and I’d rather have a Pieology here than driving somewhere else.

Pros: 1) awesome quote wall that can keep you entertained while you wait in line 2) the place smells amazing 3) the pizza tastes amazing Cons: 1) took awhile for pizzas to be ready and given out. The pizza distribution seemed a bit disorganized as workers were scrambling to find which pizzas were whose. 2) smaller pizza size than Blaze 3) less topping options Overall, Pieology has pretty tasty pizza, but the wait time can be dissatisfying especially if you are«hangry.»

This is the Chipotle of Pizzas. You pick your dough, sauce, and toppings… unlimited! And all for under $ 7.95. Fair warning: the more toppings you pack on, the soggier your pizza will be. To fix this little problem, just ask them to cook it longer. The pizza tastes soooo good when it’s crispy and tastes like I wish I should have gotten Costco pizza when it’s soggy. It’s not good… at all… and I know this from real life experience. I also like to ask them to use the herb butter sauce and then the red on top. I like to believe it tastes better this way. When you get to the register, the person asks you how many pizzas you got. No, he/she doesn’t think you’re a fatty(yes, I asked since I was there alone), they just assume you came with friends. .No, just one. for me… only.

Excellent experience and food my third time around here. On a Dec 24th day at lunch, we lucked out on no lines. Me and my friend ended up getting our pizzas in good record time. As soon as we sat down on our table, our pizzas were given to us within 10 minutes. The pizza I chose was the home made dough and I loaded it up with mozzarella and gorgonzola. Plus i added artichokes, pineapples, jalapenos, pepperoni, sausages, and bacon. For my drink i made an arnold palmer.
