Lavender Foot Spa

LOVE this place! You really can’t go wrong with a $ 20, 60 minute massage! So worth it, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to go back!

I don’t usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but my experience at Lavender Foot Spa yesterday was so outside the box, I just had to share it. Went in with my guy for a treat at the end of a day running errands. As soon as we crossed the threshold, I swear we were in a Seinfeld episode. First, before you get to the point of even taking your shoes off, the greeter was trying to talk us into a more expensive package. I get it, it’s all about the art of the deal, but it was a bit hard sell. And speaking of hard, my foot rubber must have been using my body as a vehicle for his power work out because he was way enthusiastic and rough. Had to tell him two times to ease up because he was inflicting some serious pain. He did lighten his touch somewhat, but his style was fast and hard – sort of the complete opposite of relaxing and feel good; I couldn’t wait for him to finish. But for the cherry on top, during the entire massage a disgruntled customer was arguing with the owner at the front desk about the number of punches he had or didn’t have or should have had in his reward card. I felt like pulling a George costanza and yelling at them both to shut up, but could only laugh at the ridiculousness of the entire situation. Bottom line – don’t go. It was an experience alright, just not the one I wanted.

Had the same problem that another customer reported. The owner at the front is rather uncouth and forces you to tip over and beyond what you would like to give. Will not be going back.

Terrible. The guy at the front, I assume the owner because he is always there, is a hustler. He will blatantly lie to you about their prices and then shoo you out if you don’t tip to his liking (20% or more). I won’t be returning and buyer beware.

Shi shi and Eva were perfect ! Very friendly attendant in the front, didn’t rush through the massage and were very attentive. We had a foot massage for 20 dollars, and it felt longer than the hour. We will be coming back for their Christmas specials.

I always am feeling relaxed after I leave here! The owner, Peter, is so sweet and accommodating. And for 25 $ (including tip) the price can’t be beat!

Not your ordinary foot massage! I have been to a few different ones in different cities, this is so far the best one.
I was getting my laundry dried so I decided to have a massage while waiting. I had foot and body massage, they started soaking and massaging my feet first in the front room and then moved me to the other room for the body massage. The person who worked on me had very good strength and after all I felt great!

Had gone here for over a year and a half. I don’t know what has happened but the last couple months there is all new staff and have not gotten a decent massage since. I used to be able to go in and have an amazing full body massage but it has definitely changed and the staff needs more experience, or training, to come close to what the Lavender Spa used to provide, at least in terms of the full body massages. I will look elsewhere for another place, I am so disappointed.

I’ve been coming here for a while. It’s low priced and the massages are great! If you get the 60 minute foot massage they will massage from head to toe, with an emphasis on the feet. I came here today because I had a horrible migraine and after begging my fiancé to massage me he denied me, so I came here. Everything was great I enjoyed my massage by a lady she did happen to massaged my head so my migraine went away. But don’t take any medical advice for me this is just my visit and it was more than pleasant. I will definitely come back again and again as I have in the past. Oh and by the way the owner he is usually at

My boyfriend had come in on a weekday and raved about this place. It is Saturday afternoon, no one answered the phone when we called so we headed over (from Studio City in traffic I might add). We were told ½ hour wait. It has now been an hour and the only person visible just informed us 15 more minutes. That being said (vented) it was a really good massage, 70 minutes for $ 30 and the headrest is actually comfortable. If I return, I will bring a book and block out 2 hours min. To avoid aggravation

I went in after reading the other reviews! I walked in for a foot massage and was greeted by a friendly gentleman I assume was the owner! The place was very quiet and dark, felt very peaceful, had music on in the background! I noticed they had a flyer for October special $ 45 for 45 min body massage and 45 min foot massage, I quickly jumped at the deal! I was walked over to a big comfy chair and «Mary» got the foot massage tub and started my massage! It was awesome! I had a bad experience at another place in Alhambra a few years back but being that I’m feeling a bit stressed lately, I figured I’d give this place a try and boy am I glad I did!
Body massage was deep tissue and just what I needed! After I paid I received a $ 5 coupon for my next visit and a punch card…9 foot massages get the 10^th free! I will definitely be coming back and telling my friends!

This place sucked!!! Not only did I have to stop the massage like 5 times because this stupid guy was rubbing my bone!!! But when I left and gave him 3 dollars (not deserved) he said the tip is usually $ 5! Wtf? Who says that!!! I’ll never go back! It’s been 2 days and my spine and shoulders are killing me! He didn’t even rub my muscle tissue! I think if you are going to work with the public you should probably be able to speak English or at least understand it!!!
