Do not order the chow mein thinking its chow mein! Chow mein is suppose to be a noodle well not here. I ordered the vegetable chow mein and this is what I got. Looks like vegetables and rice to me. I called and they said oh that’s our chow mein. Very disappointed!

Sesame chicken was pretty good. Beef with broccoli wasn’t bad either. Fried Rice… Could be worse I guess. Crab Rangoon was pretty awful. They took Amex.

Solid, local Chinese take-out. The food isn’t salty or greasy. I usually pickup my orders since they’re very busy and the delivery might take a while. The food is usually ready right when they say it is. Great boneless pork, sichuan chicken and chow mei fun. My only complaint is with the cold sesame noodles. Special note: After Sandy struck NJ and most of the supermarkets and restaurants in the area were closed, this place was open and slinging out food, with what supplies they had left. It was much appreciated during a really crappy time.

I love grabbing to-go orders from this place! Food is always consistent, inexpensive, and made fresh! They aren’t the friendliest but alway get our orders correct and promptly!

For takeout Chinese food this place is the best in the area. The way to tell us that the quality of the meat — no tendons or grisle. Sure there is a higher ratio of veggies to meat but that’s normal for any Chinese restaurant. I typically get the ma po tofu, cashew chicken and sautéed green beans. You can also tell them if you want a different sauce. Their lunch specials are a pretty good deal too.

This is my go-to place for Chinese take-out and I’ve I’ve tried a LOT of places in the area. Nowadays I cook more authentic Chinese food at home, bless you Kam Man. My personal favorite is the fried chicken wings, nobody else has chicken wings this good. The American standards of chicken or beef and broccoli, lo mein, fried rice, egg foo young, and the rest are, I think, of slightly better quality. Vegetables are never soggy mush like so many other places. The twice cooked pork is of better quality than most places but I wish they would put dried tofu in it to kick it up to an A+. The beef chow fun is another personal favorite of mine and loaded with fresh vegetables and plenty of beef. The last time I was there, they chased me down as I was leaving the parking lot because they forgot to pack my beef teriyaki. Considering some of the other places in the area, this isn’t overcooked, greasy slop, it’s good, fresh, Americanized-Chinese take-out.

If your near this restaurant and are looking for Chinese food in a «pinch» this will suffice. — Quality of food is just OK… I ordered General Tso’s and there was no spice to it. Crab Rangoons were more pastry than stuffing. Portion sizes are good. — Menu: Huge selection. — Staff: Friendly, but very hard to understand As everyone else who has posted has said, you’ll want this for take out. Like I said, if you live near by and want something local then you’ll be OK here, but otherwise I would drive the 5 miles down into Hendersonville or Madison and get better food.

Friendly service good food at a good price. I would recommend takeout the dinning area is small. Seafood Delight is great and there’s enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The manager is a good guy very friendly always goes out of his way to say hi

The Main Moon is one of my favorite Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. I have eaten here several times and it has proven itself to be very consistent. It is nothing flashy inside, and don’t anticipate them being able to seat large parties ;), but it is, from my experience, food you should put in your mouth.

For our Chinese takeout, we select the Main Moon. For one, it is close to our house. Secondly, you get a large serving whether it is for lunch or dinner. The taste of the food is fine and consistent based on the times we’ve had takeout. The location is NOT for dining in and could be presented in a better manner. Were there another option for Chinese, the Main Moon would have some competition.

I live right next to main moon so I go here often. I think these reviewers just came on a bad night or something. The food here is the BEST out of all the many chinese take away restaurants in my area. They have the best roast pork and mixed vegetable. Their wonton soup is so good. Best wonton soup ever. Their general tso’s is really good. Their sweet and sour chicken is great too, just make sure you go there during lunch time or dinner time so the wok is hot and the food is made fresh. Oh their beef and brocoli is great too. Everything seems fresh and the lady owner there is really nice.

Things have not improved. The kitchen is disordered and dirty, although I cannot tell to what extent because there is so much clutter. The food tasted better this time… but I was sick for a week and it suspiciously started the day after I ate their food. Obviously I cannot conclusively say it was their fault, but based on the condition of the kitchen, I wouldn’t be shocked. I’m also docking points because the prices are a bit higher than I’d like, considering what they offer. I did notice their menus says they deliver now, by the way.

This place can be cheap if you order a la carte, but expensive if you order one of their preset meals. I’ve eaten here several times(take out and sit in) and it’s your average Americanized Chinese joint. Don’t expect any more or any less – you won’t be impressed or disappointed. Main Moon isn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it definitely soothes those late-night fried rice cravings you get every once in a while. Also, this restaurant is connected to a Japanese restaurant and is under the same management. So if you’re in the mood for some sushi, take a hop to the right.

Not the greatest Chinese food. The soup is watery and tasteless. The fried rice was bland and dry. No utensils when delivering to a hotel. I wouldn’t go back.
