This place was beautiful! It is tucked away though, but there are signs leading to it. Got warm towels to wipe with when we were seated. Appetizers were delicious! Food was ok. I got ramen which was just full of cabbage, but it was still yummy. Service was great!

Kohana is on point! The sushi is amazing — truly delicious and artful every time! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the fish is the best anywhere. Kohana is well-deserving of more than five stars.

My wife and I came here for Valentine’s Day and the experience was great! We got there before the evening rush that every restaurant gets on Valentine’s Day. The staff was friendly and courteous. The sushi was amazing!!! That’s all we had except for the soft shell crab which was a great appetizer & the banana tempura which was an awesome dessert. We will definitely return.

This is my favorite restaurant in Clarksville, TN. The food is amazing! The waiters and waitresses are very nice. The prices are quite expensive but soooo worth it. When we move, I am willing to travel here again just to eat here.

I go to Kohanas at least 3 to 4 times a month. Their sushi is amazing and I recommend their dancing eel rolls.

Best japanese restaurant in all of the United States! My favorites are their mango roll and bobo roll. The flavor and presentation are unmatch, even with top notch restaurants in the big cities. I am a nyc born and raised foodie and have been to over hundreds of japanese restaurants, this place is unmatch for atmosphere, decoration, food taste and presentation. I literally drove 500 miles just to come back and taste the mango roll that is how memorable and great this place is.

Yes! The signature maki rolls is amazing, they show you the art of food here, the Phoenix rolls are so delicious, the combo of the ingredient yummmm I can’t even… The normal rolls is alright, nothing too special. Services is prompt and the server will give you her honest options and recommendations if you need to decide what to order.

Our«go to» sushi spot in Clarksville. The sushi is great and the atmosphere is really nice. I didn’t expect it to be so nice based on the outside of the building but the inside was impressive and their food hits the spot!

Love the fresh taste of the sushi. Service is a little slow at times, but not bad. Very friendly and helpful staff, the family feel if the restraunt is great. Eat here often. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach here.

First off, the only reason I gave 3 stars would be because I have eaten here previously and enjoyed their vegetable udon. However, I just ate there tonight and it was horrible. I ordered the chirashi & after eating this at fujiyama I couldn’t believe what was set down in front of me. The fish was cut in all kinds of horrific ways it was plain sloppy. It was like the chef could have cared less what he sent out. The fish didn’t even taste fresh. Sushi rice was way over cooked and did not have that pleasant faint taste of vinegar. The service was nice & atmosphere is nice but I won’t be back. Fujiyama is where it’s at as far as presentation, price, flavor, service & atmosphere.

This place is the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to yet. Big menu amazing! Just a little pricier than than others I’ve reviewed but you are paying for the best quality. Nothing insanely priced however. And the portions are a little better as well. Pros: best restaurant, best food, best sake and beer selection Cons: not near fort Campbell like others I’ve reviewed. Closed during the day for cleaning and stocking so check hours before hand. Definitely my first choice for Japanese cuisine. Hope others enjoy this place as well.

I had a large(65 people) dinner party here recently and the staff was very accommodating. They closed off a portion of the restaurant for us. On the down side, the only had three waiters serving 60 people. Seriously. That’s not an exaggeration. However, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wait staff and atmosphere were also excellent. Great place for a family dinner or romantic evening for two.

Kohana roll=awesome! The sushi was fresh and yummy. There are more roll options that I had time to read about. The vegetable udon noodle soup was pretty good. Our service was great. We will back!

I heard Kohana was the best restaurant in Clarksville so I thought I should give it a shot. The lady and I went there for a late dinner on Sunday night when it was nearly deserted and we sat down right away. We actually turned out not to be too hungry so we split the Sexy Lady roll and the Tempura Udon. I was a little wary of ordering sushi in Tennessee but I was surprised by this one. The Sexy Lady was more like two regular size rolls combined into one with one piece of tuna and albacore. The udon was all right, but the tempura shrimp was kind of bland. The apple sake was delicious and we ended up splitting another bottle. Our server was very accommodating, we came in half an hour before closing but he didn’t seem to notice or mind and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and brought out extra dishes and bowls so we could share. Pretty good.
