I am pretty sure this candy shoppe used to be called Oh Lolli Lolli maybe a year and a half ago before moving away from this neighborhood. Anyway, this place is just awesome. It’s a childhood dream come true, walking in there knowing that I may purchase whatever I want and my mother can’t tell me not to eat too much of it or not to eat any before a meal for fear of ruining my appetite! It’s been some time since my last visit but I always get the same thing. Gummy bears dipped in milk chocoate and some toffee pistachios. To die for! I got some for a sad colleague today and nothing for me. I am going to surprise him since he’s been sad since I’ve changed residence… Not that he cares about anything else but purely for the fact that I can’t be his chocolate dealer anymore. This place is fairly small and packed once you get inside. The walls are lined with jars of chocolates, nuts covered in chocolates, jars of sourbelts in various flavors(I don’t think they call them sourbelts though!), and other sweets, gummy bears presented in all sorts of ways, plain candies, and many other sweets. I do love their chocolate but having gained some self control, I felt so different going in there. Of course, given the right mood I would have definitely bought at least a couple more things than what I came out with. I do miss this place and might visit again soon before summer is over.

Why are you not open during posted hours? Today was not the first time our grand children were disappointed. Not being a good neighbor…

This place is a cute, very small, candy store in the Demun neighborhood. The candy is expensive on a per unit basis, but they had candy on sale the last time I went there. They have unusual candy you won’t see at other stores. For example, when I visited after Christmas they had gummi Christmas lights. This was one of the sale items, and they were very good.

How Sweet Is This is a great addition to the Hi-Pointe/DeMun neighborhood. Situated north of Clayton Rd, west of Skinker and south of Northwood this neighborhood gem is filled to the brim with amazing candy finds. We make weekly– ok bi-weekly visits after school gets out and are always greeted with a smile and a personalized hello to both of my kids. New owner and new name effective 1÷1÷2014 and the quality of service and candies cannot be beat!

When this store was called Oh Lolli Lolli, I patronized it and bought candy for my mother and the other women in my life who love chocolate and candy in general partly because I knew the previous owners personally and partly for the candy. I was unaware of the sell to new owners the last time I went there. The store is very small and can get kinda crowded when there are a lot of people there which is okay. There service on customers is rather quick. It reminds me of the old style candy stores from a by gone era when there were stores that specialized in candy confections, and that’s part of what I liked about this little store. They have a wide variety of candy there that is sold as candy bars and by the piece, and they have candy sold by the pound in bulk. There is enough variety that everyone will find something that they probably will like for themselves or to give away as gifts for holidays and birthdays. Give it a try because you just might find something there that you like a lot, and candy is always a good gift to give someone.

I believe this place now goes by another alias(How Sweet It Is) judging by the web address on this listing and the packaging of my goodies. The location is prime, as this spot is situated right next to a playground. As the woman behind the counter stated: «if we go out of business, there’s something wrong.» I’ve only been here twice but it is a fun place to browse and take a walk down memory lane via the candy aisle. With its selection of per pound candies and pre-wrapped selections, there is something for almost every age/generation, from old-fashioned candies to the confections I remember from my youth(if exploding pop rocks could be considered a confection). Their shaved ices are highly renowned and specials change by the day. Next time I will have to plan it out so that I am not full from lunch and can indulge in some of these offerings.

I have been a few times to this shop and I love it! I’ve gone to get supplies for cake pops. What I like most about this store opposed to others is that I can buy exactly the amount I need and won’t have a ton of extra(and don’t have to spend $ 10 on candies, most of which I would throw away). They have a fun assortment of candies and I think it’s super cute that it’s right next to a playground. Whenever I have gone, it has never been busy and the employees have been very sweet and chipper.

I have been on a mission to revisit all the businesses that I have given 2 Star ratings, in hopes that they can prove themselves worthy of an increase. Today I visited Oh Lolli Lolli and unfortunately they showed me that they actually deserve a 1 Star rating, but I couldn’t bring myself to lower their rating. The ambiance and location saved them, but they are still a 2. The young ladies working were unfriendly and when I asked questions their answers were short and curt. Once again I walked out empty handed. Later that day, I visited two other candy shoppes on my quest for a specific need and they both offered me exceptional customer service. Their excellent customer service resulted with me spending money in both stores. What a shame that the cash register did not ring at Oh Lolli Lolli — Itsy Bitsy Candy Shoppe.

Looky looky, it’s Oh Lolli Lolli. This place is quaint. I’ll give it that. With the pastel walls and the oodles amount of candies they have, it is definitely a fat kid’s dream. It’s situated in a convenient place where it draws children. After hanging out on the playground which is next door, the kids can come in here with mommy or daddy and buy their after dinner treats. When the child finishes his/her meal, they can get their candy reward. Perfect. It is a sweet concept, literally, but I find the place somewhat un-stimulating in other regards. For example, they do not make any of their candies. When I asked the 16 year old cashier where they got their candies, she said, «somewhere in California.» Honestly she didn’t know… 16 year old, I won’t give her too much grief. Nothing is original? A bit of a downer as I said, but not a deal breaker. I can appreciate that they do not up-charge on the«everyday» items. A blow pop is .25 cents. For as long as I can remember, blow pops have always been that way. Thank you for not making it some ridiculous amount of money where it will cost a 6 year old their week allowance to buy a damn sucker! It is a fun place. Bring your kids. It’s cheaper than going to the gas station to buy the candy. PS — I know nothing about their snow cones that were mentioned in other reviews.

My boyfriend is sort of a sno cone connoiseur, so when I found out Oh Lolli Lolli sold sno cones, I surprised him with a visit. This is a very cute little candy shoppe with a seemingly great selection of candies. They had some things that I hadn’t seen it years. This trip was all about the sno cones though. Based on a recommendation from the very young and perky employee, I went with wedding cake/champagne mix for my flavor. It sounded just as strange to me, but the employee said it was one of her favorites and that she was sure I would like it too. Turns out she was wrong. I wasn’t a huge fan, but the ice was really snow-like. My boyfriend chose a more standard flavor, peach, and it was delicious. It was the best sno cone I have had in St. Louis yet. I will be back for a sno cone, but I will definitely stick with a flavor I know that I will like and probably pick up some candy too! :)

This place is adorable! I’ve been here twice and the first time i was shocked by all the little pastel colored buckets they had filled with candy. I fell in love with the jars of jelly beans and gummies. I got myself some kiwi jelly bellys and I got my boyfriend a handful of gummy worms. Last week, I was on a mission to find myself and my friend chupa chups. We looked EVERYWHERE: mexican stores, walgreens, and global food market. For some reason most places refuse to sell the delicious lollipops. I finally decided to call Oh Lolli Lolli and they had them! They even had the flavor I wanted. This is definitely my favorite candy store now.

In the words of my roommate Jenny, «it smells like pure happiness in here!» And indeed it does… it looks like it, too. This is a very tiny candy shop that’s perfect to stop by on its own or after lunch outside on Kaldi’s patio. You can by tons of the basics here(all lined up against the back wall) but they also sell lots of their own chocolately creations! Today they had a bunch of homemade chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing for sale and they looked delicious. What you really need to come here for, though, are the snow cones and ice cream. I have an obsession with simple twist ice cream — vanilla and chocolate — and almost fell right over when I found out they had it. I got a small cup and my roommate got her favorite, tigers blood ice. The shaved ice here is the kind that just melts in your mouth, and tigers blood we found out is a strawberry coconut flavor. So good! This is the perfect place to put together an adorable present for someone, and as if things couldn’t get better… they sell Ann & Allen’s gooey butter cake mix!

Went in today for the first time. Yummmmmy. Two very nice employees, who let us sample before we purchased. They have the most enormous dark chocolate dipped raisins. Can’t wait for a reason to go back.

This little shop is perfect for all the neighborhood kids walking past it on their way to and from school and with the little park right next door. I usually stop in when we visit friends with small kids but I still have no idea what the hours are. The prices are pretty reasonable. They have items for every price range and every sweet tooth. I think it does just fine at what it’s trying to accomplish… be just like a huge grocery store rack at the checkout. While I would like to see more homemade stuff like CC does, I don’t think that’s the niche this place is going for.

I love this super cute shop on DeMun and think it’s such a cool addition to the neighborhood! Cathie, the owner, is so nice and helpful and has thoughtfully created a really great little candy store! They have something for everyone, priced from a few cents to a few dollars; it’s all very reasonable. The shop is very clean and well-organized, cutely-decorated, and the candy is all nicely displayed. Much of the candy is familiar and probably what people go in looking for, but she DOES have a lot of unique stuff, and continues to seek out hard-to-find items more and more. I’ve heard that Yummy Earth all-natural fruit flavored organic/vegan/gluten-free/allegry-free/kosher/evaporated cane juice(no HFCS, yay!) lollipops are on the way soon! I’m excited! She even has natural sodas and real sugar Coca-Cola in bottles. She takes requests for new items on the Oh Lolli Lolli facebook too I’ve noticed, so if you can’t find something, just ask if she can get it! The shop is very family friendly, and Cathie’s own adorable kids are there to hang out and help mom when they’re not in school. It’s like going to buy candy at Spicer’s, but way cooler. Support local business and working moms and check it out! It’s next door to my awesome hairdresser, Ricky, at Heads Unlimited, and also next to a little playground/park, about a block down from Kaldi’s. Oh Lolli Lolli just opened about a month ago, so people are still discovering that it’s there. Whether it’s for your kids, or yourself, or if you’re a Wash U student who needs a study break, it’s a great little treat oasis for everyone!

It a small shoppe. They carry a lot of your basic wrapped candies… Snickers, Mr. Good Bar and other candy bars, Flipstick taffy, Fun Dip(flavored sugar), Sprees, licorice, Mentos, etc. There was also had a variety of bulk chocolate or yogurt covered things from nuts to dried fruits: chocolate covered peanuts, almonds, dried cherries, haystacks(chocolate covered coconut mounts), turtles, etc. We went with the chocolate covered amaretto walnuts and yogurt covered cranberries. The walnuts are worth trying! I would have like to see more unique candy rather than a lot of things I can find in the grocery store. They just opened, so maybe there will be some newer/unique things to come.
