This is a nice campground. We ride offroad motorcycles and you can ride directly from camp but it’s a managed campground so it’s not at all «over-run» with dirtbikes. People who are camping here ride from camp to the traihead across the road but no bikers are riding around in the campground. The sites at the creek are nice and at $ 15 a night it’s a bargain (no pass of any sort required!) It’s gravel in the campground but paved to the entrance. There are vault style toilets and I say no water faucets so bring what you need. A lot of folks with RVs use the place. Quite family friendly!

If you get one of the sites on the creek, you’re in business. However, at $ 15 a night for a single site, there’s only a few sites that come close to warranting such a high fee. Most of the sites didn’t seem to have much space for tents.
I stayed during the week, and this place was deserted, but based on other websites, and the number of signs regarding dirtbikes, I suspect this camp is overrun with noisy ORV’s on weekends.
The road to the campground is paved the entire way, save for some potholes. No cell phone reception, but you’re camping, you’ll live.
Also, the fishing is mediocre. I caught several small trout while fly fishing near the campground.
