Nice spot for lunch in beautiful Clear Lake, I do believe they have two different menus for lunch and dinner.
The wings here are very good, they have a great sauce and come in a decent size. Got them twice in the both times that I’ve been here. I tried the rueben which the corned beef was done right, not always a guarantee since I’ve had my fair share from many places. Also tried the raspberry chipotle turkey sandwich which was a nice touch to a traditional fav.
The downtown and lake area are gorgeous if you are in town this is a good choice to grab a bite and enjoy the views.

Its another place in this area that tries to be a «gourmet» restaurant but falls short once again. The quality of the food is just not there. The service was decent both times but I was the only one at the bar. I’m honestly not sure why I even give this place 3 stars, I guess for effort and there’s a sports bar attached to it. If your looking for good food go elsewhere, if your looking for decent food and to get drunk next door afterwards this might be the place.

My wife and I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my 47 years, we each had the 12 oz New York strips, with the asparagus and hollandaise sauce, out of this world!, grilled perfectly, not over seasoned, and not over dressed with hollandaise, and super juicy. So now every time I’m in clear lake I will have that steak every time, highly recommended. And it’s a nice quaint little place, clean and comfortable. Oh and I didn’t mention that the steak was only $ 18.95, I’ve paid $ 30 for steaks that weren’t near as good. I could go on and on, so just try it for yourself.

Delicious food at a great location! Always a great place to stop while in Clear Lake! Try the Chicken Caesar wrap if you aren’t feeling steak. Great food, great service !

The lettuce for the salad looked great although tasted like bagged chemical lettuce, chowder & mashed potatoes were good, sirloinsteak was fatty and no chilled beer glasses w ugh lower rate Samuel Adams Tap beer. Bread was nice, hot w real butter.
How about a nice green salad w good blue cheese instead of bottled dressing ?
I was highly disappointed. Tam the server was pleasant and accommodating. A few updates to food quality would rate this place much higher as it would only take a few steps.

We have been by here 100 times and I always thought it was a dive. So I read a review on here and thought we should try it. Hello! Don’t judge a book by its cover! DELICIOUS! I got the grilled Italiano special for lunch which is choice of three salads, 3 soups, and 3 sandwiches-​one of each for 7.77. Homemade ranch. Nomnomnom. Hubs got the mushroom and Swiss burger which was huge and fresh and homemade chips. Delish. Eat here. You will not be disappointed!

Airport recommended this little local place. Glad I took their advice! I had lunch for a reasonable 7.77– the lunch special of soup, salad, and half sandwich. Fresh salad followed by a savory tomato basil soup and italiano sandwich (pepperoni, ham, salami, ranch dressing, lettuce, provolone cheese) grilled to perfection. Service was fast and super friendly and the iced tea is freshly brewed.
Just down from the lakefront where many of the interior photos that decorate the place are from.

Remember the wise adage, «Don’t judge a book by it’s cover»?
From the outside it looks like a dive bar but inside it is a sharp looking & updated restaurant that was converted from a bar. Complete with the high back booths and bar counter which we sat at.
Excellent breakfast food that a few locals walking out called the «the best breakfast in town!» It proved to be true for us with your typical menu but fresh ingredients prepared extremely well. It doesn’t hurt that outside of the lake vacation town they are surrounded by miles and miles of farms either.
Favorites by far were the blueberry pancakes chock full of big fresh blueberries! The hashbrowns were excellent as well with a crispy on the outside. If you’re a big breakfast fan go with the «A-​train». It will not disappoint ;) Reasonable prices made it even better when we were ready to leave full and happy we found this great spot!
