Great little place on main road, people watching is good. Service is great, servers are the best!

The customer service here is so terrible that it’s not worth the hassle of eating here. They make you squish into 1 table, rude, and total attitude. We just left rather than eat!

After having checked the reviews on Unilocal,we decided to take our guests from to this«amazing» bistro… Cork and brew bistro looks like a warm, cozy place where one can enjoy a good family evening… like it is said, looks can be deceiving, we had an awful night at the bistro… first of all, the server was super super rude… when my husband started placing the order for our guests, he was bluntly told not to order for the others but only for himself… it was quite humiliating since our guests had given him the responsibility to order for all… when my guests tried to confirm if their order was taken down correctly, they were almost told off by comments such as «yea that’s what I have taken down» and«you don’t need to repeat»… this female seemed to have a huge attitude problem… when the kids were sharing the sauces, she almost yelled at them for sharing it… secondly, the service was very very slow… it took more than an hour to get things like salad out… we were seated by 9.45 pm… our orders were given in by 10pm, the food came out only at past 11 pm… it felt like it was done on purpose so that we would not place any more orders as we were informed that the kitchen would close by 11 pm. not that there place was crowded… the kids started to get cranky… and to top it off… there was no apology given… thirdly, we ordered for a second batch of steamed Edamame beans… they came out straight from the deep freeze… no salt on it… stark cold… when we asked her to take them back, she told us that she would heat them up for us… no apology given… when we finished our dinner, which was pretty mediocre, that waitress did not even bother to come out to check if we wanted a dessert… I wish I had noted down her name… well… all in all, cork and brew bistro was a pretty unpleasant experience, and with a highly priced menu, a perfect recipe for a disastrous evening…

Cork and Brew Bistro was a pretty good experience! They have a nice outside patio, but inside is pretty bar like with a long bar that takes up much of the space. In the front, there is often a band playing. We had a hard to time deciding what to get for my hubby since he doesn’t like veggies and seafood. We finally decided on a barbecue chicken pizza for him. It was actually pretty good! I had the lava rock surf and surf which is scallops and tuna with veggies served with two sauces. It was alright, but kind of plain! I thought it and the other lava rock options were a bit overpriced ranging from $ 20 – 40. It also seemed a bit small. Don’t get me wrong. The lava rock was cool and different, but still! Our server Dominque was excellent! She said she is new, but she’s taken the time to know the menu backwards and forwards! She’s got great detail! We appreciated her greatly! We are glad we finally checked this restaurant out! I had an expired Living Social which still provided us face value which I was happy not to lose out on it!

I was invited out to dinner here and didn’t know anything about this except that the is cooked on lava rock which sounded quite tempting. When we arrived, we were inside where they had live music, an upbeat vibe, fast moving staff and a good talk volume which was perfect. I was offered to try two different kinds of beers that I was interested in and once it was brought out to me I instantly fell in love with the beer and the glass. I ebayed the glass and found they were being sold from someone in my home town so I asked the waitress if they sold them. I bought them for $ 5 each and was super psyched. The tuna and veggies on the lava rock was to die for. If there were parts of it that weren’t cooked enough I could just move it on the rock and cook it to my liking. Everything about this place pointed towards many visits in the future. What a great place to dine, chat, listen to live music, and it’s right next to the beach.

We stumbled on this lovely gem(via Unilocal) just outside the tourist perimeter. It is a bit of a niche, quaint local watering hole. They have many beers on tap, which rotate out, and a decent list of wines. They offer an extensive list of reasonably priced small plates as well as some bigger ticket items like filet served on lava rocks. We stuck with the small plates which were amazeballs. If you have no concerns about your heart health, TRYTHEAPPLEWOODCANDIEDBACON. Oh my gourd, it was ahhhhhhmazing! So amazing, we went back for more the next night! We also ordered the naan, cured meat and cheese plate and the four cheese grilled cheese. Grilled cheese was super melty but perfectly crispy on the outside! As I said, we went back twice! Second night… MOREAPPLEWOODCANDIEDBACON! Roasted veggie and brie panini, also perfectly melted/grilled. Shrimp cocktail(fresh, but meh) and the giant pretzel(two sauces, mustard and we think Nutella). Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! I can not say this enough: TRYTHEAPPLEWOODCANDIEDBACON!

This is a cute cozy little place tucked into the heart of clearwater, perfect if your sick of the basic beach bars. We stopped in here on a drizzly Saturday and partook in a glass of wine. They have a great selection and the prices are not too bad. We sat on the outside patio which is cute with little couches, we couldn’t sit on them because it had been raining! I would definitely visit this place again!

My group headed to Cork N Brew after dinner mid-week and found they had a nice selection of wines and beers(no liquor) as well as ciders and sangria. I had an Ace Pear Cider on tap, which is only had bottled… it was $ 1 off for happy hour. The service was fine, but nothing to write home about. We didn’t expect it to be packed on a Wednesday but we were literally the only people inside. It’s a bit of a different scene… less«beachy» and not so ultra casual as most other places in Clearwater Beach. You’ll see black leather, a chandelier, and nice fixtures. I appreciated a change of pace in terms of aesthetics and overall«feel.»

Great experience & excellent food! Our group of 7 enjoyed fantastic service from Otis! He was super friendly & attentive! We enjoyed a huge warm pretzel & fresh shrimp cocktail! The lava scallops was awesome! Panini & flat bread were favorites as well with our wine & beer. Homemade Key Lime pie was a great way to end our evening! Everything was fresh & presented very well. And did I mention that Otis made our experience complete!

I live on the beach and I do love to support local business. I am however very picky about where I take friends. this is one of my go to spots. It is not the normal tourist type of spot. Everyone I have taken here raves about it. Online the website is very cool with a current listing of wines and craft beers available. Every dish I have tried is very good. Try the Lava rock menu if you want something different. It is very unique.

Great little jem. Will definitely send guests here. It’s unlike anything on clearwater beach. Boutique style. Cigars, outdoor seating, great coffe, lovely menu. Looking forward to having a full course. For this afternoon it’s just cigars and coffee.

Overall, it was a tough night at the cork & brew. Parts were good, but I left feeling grumpier than when I arrived. I’ll start with the good: small, cozy dining area and bar, long & interesting beer list, decent food. But the bad soured the evening, unfortunately. We were greeted rudely when we walked in, and the service that followed was slow and inattentive. It’s a very small place, and it wasn’t packed, but the 1 bartender, 1 server, and kitchen were overwhelmed. They brought us a couple of beers sort of quickly, but nothing to eat for nearly an hour and a half. The food was okay when it arrived, but the poor service really brought this place down.

Great little land!!! Pretty small inside, maybe 5 or 6 tables, but they have a long bar and a lot of outside seating too. Came here on a groupon, and will 1000% be coming back. It’s a great place for drinks and tapas or a delicious light meal. I don’t really love places with full entrees and such so this is my type of jam. I love tapas and ordering many things to make my own meal. Don’t know how some people don’t like this concept. Anyways, lots and lots of good beer on tap, a big wine list, and a good menu too. Kind of on the wagon right now, so didn’t indulge in any cool drinks but would have loved a few of the beers they have on tap. Food. The food was all very delicious. We each started with a bistro salad. Simple but perfect. It was a great size with mixed greens, pecans, goat cheese, dried cherries and a wonderful house vinaigrette. It was yum. I would marry goat cheese if I could. We also got warm marinated olives. I’m not the biggest olive fan but you couldn’t tell that by the number of pits on my plate. Also super scrum, and with grilled naan. LOVE naan. I am on a somewhat restricted diet right now so couldn’t order 12 things I did really want but went with the seared tuna instead, which I loved. A lot of tuna, with a cucumber carrot slaw and ginger soy sauce. The sauce was good, but wanted more of a ginger taste or just a pound of ginger. Either way, it was a great dish. My mum got the veggie and goat cheese panini. She really enjoyed it and it came with a side of edamame, which I enjoyed. The panini had mushrooms, sundries tomatoes, peppers, and maybe something else, on rye bread. So much for my restricted diet, he said the words«pumpkin praline cheesecake» and I had a hard time saying no. SOSOSO delicious. I am a huge fan of pumpkin flavor and an even bigger fan of cheesecake. It rocked. It was so soft and perfect and I could have easily eaten 3 more pieces. Super cute place with super scrum food and excellent service from Paul!!! Will for sure come back here, especially after seeing people say there is live music sometimes!

Good wine, good food. bad music. I love old school rock, but not with a bottle of wine and a filet. Lose the Deep Purple and Black Sabbath for dinner music and I would up the rating.

What a service! I got my flatbread, asked to make it crispier. Took it right away and 2min later I had perfect veggie flatbread! Italian flatbread was too blahhh, but chicken wrap was very tasty!

Good spot for a drink and appetizer… We had the margarita flatbread, which was delicious! The filet cooked at your table on a lava rock was unique! The salad here was yummy. In my opinion, the maple bacon wasn’t anything to write home about! I am SO thankful they had ginger peach decaf iced tea! I am pregnant and so can’t partake in many fun drinks right now! This option was the best available on our vacation! Thanks Cork and Brew! The bathrooms were grody when we were there, however… I felt kind of like I was visiting a college boy’s apartment! An easy fix that would make the entire experience better! We enjoyed the live music on Friday evening!

Cute little restaurant right off the beach. It’s the perfect place for food that doesn’t stuff you up and that’s a good thing! Yeah., their portions are pretty small for the price, but they certainly don’t skimp on the quality. The ceviche was a little disappointing but it was still tasty. It consisted of shrimp and scallop which were really small and the dish was mainly full of tomatoes. Meh, not really worth the price. We ordered up their unique lava rock dinners which comes out scolding hot. It’s a very fun experience watching your food finish cooking at your table. I highly suggest the surf and turf with scallops! You can flip and wait for the filet mignon to cook to your liking. The lamb was also good, but for two tiny strips… it’s definitely not going to fill you up. It also comes with a few sauces. After all that we were feeling good and went for the dark chocolate fondue. It’s a must! It’s fun, romantic and delicious… especially when it includes candied bacon. Yum! I would definitely come back :)
