The major problem with Brickhouse is the terrible service. We have gone back on multiple occasions and the issues remain the same.
We have waited 40 minutes to be asked for our order and that was only because we prompted the waitress by saying «would you like to take our order?»
I recommend ordering two drinks at a time so that you can have more than one during the course of your meal. You will likely be charged for drinks you didn’t order, so be sure to check your bill.
If you ask for specific sides with your dish, don’t actually expect to get them, just getting a meal in any form seems like a struggle.
We originally loved this place but the service has ruined it.

Ordered chicken & waffles, got waffles and 1.5 chicken tenders. Music was oppressive loud despite four people being in the establishment. Coincidence?

I will start by saying I typically really like Brickhouse I had previously only been to the dale mabry location and have never been disappointed. I have always gone for aps and drinks and would say my experience has always been good.
Tonight I visited the Clearwater location and it was bad. I ordered the chopped salad. What I got was a bag of dole iceberg lettuce with extremely dry chicken breast that was too tough to cut. The salad was over dressed, not chopped, and has some sort of mush which I would assume was the blue cheese crumbles and bacon. Originally when the food arrived I asked to verify that it was indeed the chopped salad as it wasn’t chopped. The waitress was very confused by this question. When she later returned to the table she told me chopped salad meant they cut the chicken for you. Ummmm no? I shared that the salad was not good and she said I’m sorry and walked away. When the bill came my total was $ 15.07. I handed her a $ 20 and was asked if I needed change. Yes please. She gives me back $ 4. She must have really wanted an extra dollar in her tip. I have come to the conclusion I attract bad service.
I would say stick with the dale mabry location and appetizers and you will like Brickhouse.

Been coming here since they opened. I must say we aren’t impressed… 2 stars for good service this evening. The steak tips were so tough we could t eat them! The potato was delicious though. We also had deviled eggs that were really good. 3 of us equals $ 46 bucks for steak tips. I don’t think we finished one entire plate between the 3 of us! Yuck! Don’t order this!

Great beer selection! We had the blue and white chips which are to die for. Days later my husband is craving them. I love the atmosphere. We definitely will be back.

I like the décor of the place, but that’s it. Everything is on the pricey side, and even though I appreciate the uniqueness of the menu everything I have tried on it has been sub par. Go for fun and drinks, but not for dining

I thought the menu was pretty awful. Only a few things there I would eat. And our beer bong was more foam than beer. Probably won’t be back considering the location getting on and off US 19 and the food. Our waitress also seemed a little crazy. Forgot my water and looked at us with confused deer in head lights look. All the tvs were a plus and the bathrooms were clean. But that’s about it.

Great food and good atmosphere. Would have given it 5 stars if I didn’t have to wait so long before anyone took my order and if the beer bong beer was colder. The food is five star though. Had the BBQ Duck Pizza and House Baked Soft Pretzel apps and ½ rack of ribs. All was delicious and needed no additional seasoning.

My friend and I went to this location to take part in a glass painting class being held there. However, I have been to this location as well as the one in Tampa before and I have had good food every time.
On this occasion, we were going to eat before our class. We just missed happy hour, which ends at 7pm. They have several drink and appetizer specials at happy hour, which looked like they would be a great deal.
I love duck, so I was going back and forth between the BBQ duck pizza and the duck wraps. I got the pizza. It was good but not as much duck on it as I would have liked. My friend got the traditional meatballs and loved them. For drinks I ordered the Sea Dog Blueberry on tap. In my friend’s words «very blueberry and very beery» which is good because I like both.
Our server was quick and polite.
This is a good place to hang out, sit by the fire (inside or outside) or to watch sports as there are a lot of TVs there as well. Also, very good for beer fans as lots of beers available. Their cocktails also sounded good but I was really in the mood for a beer.

Love this place the bartenders, waitresses and Mark (manager) just great customer service all around

One of the most comfortable atmospheres I’ve ever experienced for dinner! We ate while seated on love seats next to a cozy fireplace and surrounded by TVs on a variety of stations. No, we didn’t do takeout — this was actually the setup of the restaurant! The food was equally as homely, yet impressive. We had Mediterranean– inspired lamb burgers that were cooked to perfection and actually had to be eaten with a knife and fork because they were so melt-​in-​your-​mouth good! I had a side of garlic Parmesan fries and my husband had Cajun seasoned fries. One awesome perk? They offer tots or fries as a side and you can choose from a variety of seasonings at no extra charge! They also have an amazing happy hour that we were unfortunately too late to enjoy today. But hey, what a great excuse to drop by again!

Mediocre at best. Loved the venue, great televisions and seating. The service was below par and the waitress gave more opinion of what was terrible than what was good. The service was slow for our table of twelve considering we were the only ones there. (Friday at 2:00). The food we had, I tried 6 different appetizers and four entrees, was as described on the menu. Not as fresh as I prefer and a little salty but decent. Will I return? Maybe, on a Sunday. To watch football and have pizza since it’s close to home. Will order drinks I advance so I don’t have to wait.

We came here on a Tuesday night for our churches beer and hymns night. It was a great venue to have this once every two months event.
My choice for dining tonight was a black and blue cheeseburger, with, caramelized onions, My choice of starch was tater tot’s with mushroom gravy on the side. The cheeseburger was very good, by the end of consuming it I had gone through four napkins! Needless to say very juicy and flavorful. My tater tot’s which were accompanied by the mushroom gravy was spot on. There’s nothing like potatoes with gravy even if it’s French fries, tater tot’s, or mashed, mushroom gravy with it hits the spot.
It was a fun night singing hymns and Christmas carols with over 50 people from various churches. The food was great, the service terrific, we look forward to our next event here!

Never been to Brickhouse, and now I know I like it. I went here with my hubby and Stacy because my hubby received a free Birthday burger coupon. Brickhouse emailed a free deviled eggs coupon. Talk about bargain dining for quality food.
I had the lamb burger, and also tried a bite of my friend’s bison burger. Both were diff than I have had before and they were great and very juicy and flavorful. I’ll definitely have the bison burger next time. The candied bacon gave it that uumph! My lamb burger was good too. I loved it with the roasted tomatoes. The siracha mayo was like orange mayo to me, no biggie. Pick fries or tater tots for your side. I picked taters, but too salty for me.
Brickhouse is dog friendly so I loved it already before I got there lol. They have a nice shaded and fanned area. Inside, choose to sit at the couch booths next to the fireplace.
We had great service without a doubt. Usually when we sit outside especially in the summer months, we feel like we get shafted. Who wants to serve outside when you can be inside? We get that, but we always have our dog with us when we can. No issues of service here whatsoever. Just a super friendly cheery waitress with a very personable, helpful personality. I wish I remembered her name, but I greatly appreciated her.

I’ve been to both Brickhouse locations, Tampa and Palm Harbor, many times and between the two this one is my least favorite. The food tastes the same at both locations, always good, but the service here isn’t great. My food order is always wrong, they’ve run out of something to make a drink at the bar, or ran out of an item in the kitchen. I dont know what the deal is but this location can’t seem to get it together.

I am giving this place three stars mainly because of the atmosphere. I came here during lunch with my brother and it was not noisy at all. Our waitress was a tad bit awkward. It seems as if it may have been her first day but she was extremely polite and attending. My brother and I both ordered the Bison Burger, which I thought was okay. We also ordered the calamari, which was nice and tender. I like to go to restaurants knowing that they have the best of something but burgers do not fit that category. I would definitely return; however, I would order something other than a burger.

Kind of middle of the road.
I really wasn’t blown away, but I wasn’t disappointed either. There are hundreds of other places just like it. There is nothing that really makes it special.

Loved everything about this place… from the fireplace on the patio, to our waitress (who was very warm and funny), to the fantastic menu, to the incredibly good food, to the happy hour prices, to the huge dining room fireplace… everything was great.
Recommended by a friend, 6 of us ventured in for dinner.

Appetizers —
meat and cheese platter & meatballs in marinara sauce. The meat and cheese plate was good, although the pepperoni was cubed… made putting it on the crostini difficult. Other items on the tray were good. Meatballs where good.
Entrees:
2 orders of fish and chips. 3 large pieces of Alaskan pollock… not too heavy on the batter, with fries. Excellent
3 orders of meatloaf — huge portion sizes, cheese mashed potatoes, fried onions, mushroom gravey. This is what heaven serves at meal time. Fantadtic
Cheeseburger — cooked to order, rich pepperly flavour. Excellent.
Will definitely return prior to leaving the area.

Having been to the location in Tampa, this location has by far the most laidback atmosphere and less of the young, boisterous crowd. Man, I feel so old saying that.
The menu is the same as the Tampa location so that was great because we love the Greek meatballs. The interior dining room have long lounge style seats and tables. Love the fireplace as a focal point. There is also an outdoor dining area with a few tables outside also with a fire pit. As with most restaurants with outdoor dining, the service isn’t as great as it is inside.
Food is pretty decent for bar food and don’t forget you can get your beer served in either ½ size beer bong or full size beer bong. Definitely recommend the Greek meatballs.
Located right next to Kobe Steakhouse.

This place could be so much better
If servers could just get their shit together.
I usually come in to a group of them talking.
So on to the bar is where I keep walking.
The bartender Chris is funny and entertaining.
When I sit at the bar, I’m never complaining.
The table service just always seems slow.
Tho the couches and fireplaces are inviting, ya know?
I like the food, that’s never been the problem.
Duck wings, Kobe burger, that shizz is awesome!
It’s a great place to chill, grab a drink and a snack.
I’ll be sitting at the bar next time I come back!
