Eye Shop

My family has been going to the Eye Shop since it opened. It has the best selection of hip sunglasses & glasses of anywhere I have ever seen. And has given my family and me nothing but good service. I recommend it to all my friends, family and clients.

Went in here at the recommendation of a friend. Was looking for a sunglasses for my finance’s birthday. They have a tiny selection indeed. Also when we went in, there was one staff member sitting way in the back whom didn’t bother to get up and show us anything and after being there for a few minutes half heartedly asked if we had any questions then went back to the computer. Never coming back here again.

Horrible service!!! This is my second time at this store and have been treated the same both times. The first time I visited was during their grand opening so I attributed the lack of service to that, but the second time made it clear that they only want a certain type of customer. They have a fair selection of designer frames, however, I did not make a purchase because no one seemed interested in assisting me. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon. It was only one other customer in the store being helped by the only associate in the eyewear section. I walked in and the associate did not bother to greet me to even say she’d be right with me after she was finished with her customer which would have been fine.
Twenty minutes later, I’m still standing in the tiny eyewear section and no one has acknowledged me. Employees had come from the back of the store somewhere and they all acted as if I weren’t there. I decided I’d had enough of being ignored and walked out.
This place is right downtown in the hub of a certain religious group. Unfortunately, I got the feeling that if they knew you weren’t one of them, then they weren’t interested in your patronage.

The store has a sign outside that indicates Walk in exams welcome. So I stopped in to see if I could get my Eyes checked and they had no appointments available. So I made an appointment. Showed up for my appointment and was told it was the following week. In which I knew I was going to be out of town the way I made appointment for that day. The woman that dealt with me was not sympathetic no apologies was not able to make appointment for another 15 days due to the fact my schedule and their schedule. Was told that this store does not have a doctor on staff full-​time. Indicated she might want to take the sign off the door. No apologies she really didn’t even care.
