After my last mechanic joined the repair shop at the police department, I went looking for a new mechanic. I searched the Car Talk website, and found that Herb’s Automotive highly recommended. I have been going there about 5 years now, with 4 different vehicles, and have been very happy. Ken, the owner, does most of the work himself, while his wife runs the office. While he prefers Japanese cars, he has worked on my VW and Ford with perfect results. 100% satisfied with both the quality and price. I almost hate giving him this review, as I am afraid it will be harder to get into his shop! PS if you are not sure where 62nd street is, he is on the same street as PTEC.

It is hard to find a mechanic that you can trust and service you can count on outside of the dealership. Herb’s provides honest service you can trust at prices lower than the dealership. I have been taking my vehicles here and recommending this place to friends since 2002.
