Stevie B’s Guitar Obsession Of Clearwater

This is a very cool privately owned music store with a very nice collection of new and vintage guitars and amps! It is also run by a fast talking, pushy salesman named Joe that I did not find to be very helpful. He knows his stuff, but his «in your face» attitude and fast talking will barely allow you a thought or a word in edgewise. Also, don’t expect much of a special deal from this place, you will be paying sticker price and dealing with manufacturers warranty. Aside from that guy, the place is great actually.

Just visiting Clearwater and needed a place to hang for an hour or so. Bopped in to Stevie B’s. Very unique selection of instruments. Mostly all used guitars but the kind of gear you could gig with. Absolutely no sales pressure — very laid back. May bring something to trade next time in town.

Stevie B’s still rocks hard! I brought my Takamine accoustic/​electric in due to a «buzzing.» Joe took care of it like it was his own! Another reason why I only come here. I trust no one else with my babies! Some fret work aligning it with the universe, new strings, a cleaning, & good advice just gave new life & great sound back! Thanks, Guys!

This place is like going to buy something from one of your best friends.
The place is so mellow has such a massively awesome selection of sweet acoustic and electric guitars plus awesome old school amps kicks etc. It’s one of the businesses that you just feel like spending as much money as you can here is the right thing to do to help support them.
I trusted this shop with my fathers first guitar a 1958 – 65 era Harmony Mercury. They did an nature cleaning service polish and restring hooked me up for a whopping $ 50. … I proceeded to spend another $ 150 because it’s worth it. Joe even sold me his pick of destiny (pictures will be included) but how cool is that?
Ultimately although it’s a 20 min drive to Stevie Bs and a 5 min drive to guitar center, I will be going exclusively to Stevie B to support local business and to just chill and have a good time buying things Or just playing some guitar with the guys.
P.s I totally forgot to get some pics of the bass section which was packed too. I’ll get some next time I’m there.

They are also the only place i trust to work on my equipment. They are fantastic people. Support your local business and give this place your business. They deserve it!
