Found a piece of plastic in the Mongolian beef(see pic). Returned the food, but threw out the rice. When i picked up the new order they CHARGEDME for a side of rice($ 1.50). Not sure if they thought I was trying to pull a fast one one them and get free rice or what. They obviously don’t care about their patrons ATALL… They only care about making a buck…50. If you eat here. Eat slow and look for extraneous ingredients in your meal. I didn’t eat the new meal they gave me because I couldn’t get the image of their filthy restaurant out of my mind. If you eat here after a night of partying, that may not be the hangover that is upsetting your stomach, it may be hepatitis.

Decent fast food caliber Chinese food. Definitely not great, but fine for delivery in a lazy moment or something like that. Seemed slightly more expensive than other Chinese food of it’s class but that’s probably because they’re on the beach. The chicken had that slimy texture that you get at some chinese places, which is not my preference but some folks might like that. Wonton soup was good and the veggies seemed to be pretty fresh.

Craving chinese and ordered delivery online. Food arrived really fast and i liked the flavors. Mongolian sauce was different to what i have had before but the flavor was still good. The spring rolls were crispy and i used the sweet and sour sauce as the dipping sauce. I asked for extra spicy general Tso’s and for the first time ever it actually had a good level of heat in it. Egg drop soup had a depth of flavor too. The fried rice is really not fried rice though and seems to be only rice with soy sauce on it. Massive portions and very well priced

Since Tan’s is kind of a monopoly on the beach, I wasn’t expecting too much when I first ordered, but it’s a solid joint. By far, Tan’s gave me the best fried wontons I’ve ever had. They’re chock full of meat and small on what is usually an oversized wonton skin, so every bite had meat. Most of the other items were typical dishes with nothing too outstanding. The quality of the meat seems good and the prices are also good, again, considering they’re the only ones in the game on that side of the bridge. The dinner combo is a solid deal at $ 8.50. It comes with your choice of dish, pork fried rice, egg roll and soup. I definitely recommend if you have a Chinese food hankering when you’re at the beach.

I ordered for delivery, bourbon chicken and wonton soup. The initial order came to $ 13.34 Then the confirmation email I received gave me a total of $ 16.59. When the order arrived the total was $ 15.00(Not including the tip). And the amount charged to my bank account was $ 13.33. Also on top of that my order was wrong. I get egg drop soup instead of wonton. I’m allergic to eggs, so it’s not like I could just say oh well and eat it anyways. And the bourbon chicken was by far the worst bourbon chicken I ever had. When I called to tell them about my order, to see if I could at least get the wonton soup I ordered, the woman who answered the phone immediately started yelling something about a man calling, and their are no men in my household, and then hung up on me. This is the first time iv’e ever taken the time out to write a review, but that experience was insane.

Excellent food and huge portions! We were visiting Clearwater beach and wanted some Chinese food for dinner. Decided to check out this local place and was very pleased. The delivery was fast, the food was hot and tasty and extremely affordable. I would definitely recommend if you are hanging in your hotel after a long day at the beach and are looking to order in.

Grabbed Chinese out of the blue and it was fantastic! Quick carry out and you can order online. I had ordered Food with a friend, we both went with the sweet and sour chicken, it was cooked well and very hot when we received it. The veggie egg rolls are delicious, I normally like them chilled but on the spot and starving suited fine. He also got two normal egg rolls and really enjoyed them. I forgot to ask about extra sauce and silverware but to my surprise they left a carton of sweet and sour in the bag as well as multiple packets of soy sauce and silverware as well as napkins. I’ll definitely be going by at the end of the month and getting carry out. Prices aren’t even bad for being close to a tourist spot. Our meals were less than 20, then a tip of course. If you want something that hits home and isn’t seafood try it.

I was not feeling like eating seafood while in Clearwater Beach. Maybe next time. I was in the mood for Chinese and cheap food. Tan’s fit the bill for both. I got the Pepper Steak special lunch with Fried Rice and an egg roll. I also lived large and got some crispy noodles for a side. It was really good food. The rice was perfect. Not to greasy and I would say it tasted healthy!!! The beef was good except for one or two pieces that were a little chewy. I have never had perfect Pepper Steak! Good value here!!!

We were craving Chinese while staying in Clearwater, and ordered Tan’s to our room. The steamed dumplings sucked. They had that thick skin some places use. I hate that, I like a thin delicate skin on my dumplings. However, the pork lo mein was really good. The best thing we ordered was the house mei fun. I’d order from here again.

I called to place a delivery order and gave my address and the lady put me on hold… came back on the phone after 2 minutes and told me and I quote«Sorry, we are very busy, try calling us back in 10 minutes». Very rude and sadly without even tasting their food I would never want to visit this restaurant EVER! If that is what their customer service is like over the phone, I can’t imagine what it would be like in person.

It’s my first time in Clearwater beach, FL and I wasn’t really sure where to eat. First the parking is free if you happen to show up on a weekday after 6pm. When I got back to my car after enjoying the sunset, I was hungry for dinner and ordered in and ate there. I tried steamed dumpling as an appetizer and Crispy Shrimp with salt & pepper. I also ordered 2 orange juice’s(they come in ½ size bottles [6 ounces?]. The steamed dumplings were great. they had the homemade appeal and the meat inside was great. they reminded me of when the family gets together to make several trays of dumplings in a gathering and then after they are boiled everyone gets together to chow down on them. The Crispy Shrimp(one of the Chef’s specials) was good too. It came with bell pepper, onions and some other vegetables and spices I didn’t readily identify(I ordered steamed rice with both the appetizer and the main course) The flavor imparted by the shrimp was really great and the addition of the spices on the shrimp made it really something to savor. It also comes with an orange but its not just any orange its been wildly cut so it comes out artistically displayed. Its a stunning dish. Everything was freshly prepared and the timing was just about right. Additionally the waitress is very nice and friendly. Next time I’m back in town I will visit this place again and try another. I wonder if they have a Chinese menu(with different items). I can’t read Chinese but if I get back here with my wife who can, we’ll make a point of asking. I also ordered, I believe, the Pepper steak, as a to-go item which I plan to eat tomorrow.

First timers at Tan’s. We did take-out and both got chicken and broccoli and a quart of Chicken Noodle soup. Tan was very nice and professional. Upon picking up our meals and waiting to check out, I had a bird’s eye view into the kitchen. It was very clean, organized and all the food being prepared fresh. It was a relief and very great to see. The food is super fresh, made in a way that is a lot healthier than most other Chinese restaurants and really we have no complaints. This is the best Chinese restaurant we’ve found around here, as of yet.

We order delivery from these guys about once a week. They prepare«Dragon & Phoenix» the best by far. so far of the restaurants we’ve tried in t past. Orders are always precise, and delivered in a timely manner. I could eat this stuff till it kills me. :)

Considering that there are no other Chinese food places around here, this place is decent and cheap. It’s a a small, hole in the wall, mom and pop kinda place. So don’t take a date here unless you plan on staying single. Lunch specials will set you back around $ 5!!!
