I was a patient of Dr. Hornik for many years before he retired and I was very sad to see him go. I then made my first appointment to see Dr. Zanoudakis for an eye exam. and new prescription for my eye glasses. Unfortunately the prescription turned out to be incorrect. Fortunately I did not have the prescription filled. I had to seek out an eye physician (M.D.) to get a new evaluation and prescription for eye glasses. The Dr. confirmed that the prescription I got was incorrect. I had to pay twice to get the right prescription, but from now on I will only see a M.D. physician to get my future exam’s.

We were patients of Dr. Hornik for many years before he retired and were very sad to see him go. We then started seeing Dr. Dowd and are very happy with him also. Everyone there is very nice. I love the fact we no longer have to use the drops to dilate our eyes for the check ups. Top notch here! :-)

I saw Dr Dowd for the first time this week. The receptionist was friendly. I was seen promptly by Dr Dowd, who was really nice, efficient, and knowledgable. I received a total eye exam with up to date eye testing equipment and I was impressed!!! No more drops for dilation and that itself was wonderful news. Dr Dowd explained all the test results thoroughly. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Dowd has been my eye doctor for many years. He is the best. I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else (with the exception of his associate Dr. Zanoudakis. I have never met Dr. Hornik). I always recommend Dr. Dowd. The entire staff is professional and friendly.

I have been going to Dr Dowd since 1987, and I have never had a better optometrist. He is technically very competent, his instrumentation is top-​rate, and his personal care is unmatched. Even though I now live in California, I go see him whenever I can for my eye care. He IS as good as it gets!

My husband and I both saw Doctor Paul Dowd on January 21, 2011. Our visit was pleasant and efficient and we just love the doctor. We both highly recommend this business. The doctors and staff are great.
