Mr. Bills was always a great place to go downtown before an Indians game. The bartenders would get really drunk and come to the bar that I worked at and we would get drunk together. The older lady that worked at Mr. Bills was really cool. She would try to make out with everybody who worked in the area. Then Fergie’s took over. The good news is that Fergie’s has gyros. Pretty decent ones too. The bad news is, the old staff members got cut. I have had some good times in this bar. It definitely is the best bar in all of downtown Cleveland if you just want to drink some domestic beer and or get drunk on whiskey that may or may not have fruit flies floating in the amber elixer.
