As good as it gets outside Atlanta. MUCH better than any of the crappy sushi places people consider good in Chattanooga. Well worth a visit any time. Check out the Sake and Sushi specials on Saturdays!

Just a few things that will keep me from going to Fulin’s again. * service While our waitress was very friendly, she was hardly at our table. There were at least 2 ten minute periods where she was at another table talking and using her cell phone with customers. I’m not sure if she knew them or if they were just exceptionally chatty customers and weren’t letting her go but keeping us waiting for refills during our meal is not okay. I did look around the restaurant and it wasn’t noticeably busy and there were at least 3 other employees serving/hosting. We should not have been waiting for drinks. *food I had ordered soup with my meal and the soup was good. It was hot and sour and as far as Chinese restaurants go in Cleveland, it was delicious. However, I find that hot and sour soup options in Cleveland don’t differ much and I could get the same flavor and quality from six happiness or Kim San. The fried wontons that came with it tasted fresh and were plentiful. I ordered shrimp pad Thai for the entrée; this is where I was bitterly let down. I can’t confirm this but it tasted straight from the box. There was nothing special or delicious about the pad thai. I couldn’t taste the fresh lime juice, soy or tamarind. There was also no spice to the dish at all. To add insult to injury, it was also $ 12. I ate about ¼ of it and took the rest to go. My mom tried it that next day and without me mentioning it, said it tasted like a packet of pad thai that you get in the grocery store. With places such as Fuji: teriyaki express offering the most delicious pad thai, curries and phở and Six Happiness offering delicious hot and sour soup and crab rangoons, I really have no reason to ever come back to Fulins.

I’m always game for some Asian food, and I’m not even a stickler; that said, I’d recommend one of the local buffets over this place. I stopped by with a craving this evening and as I sit here at the end of my meal, I’m fighting the urge to walk out without paying. Why pay, when the food was beyond mediocre and the service was nearly non-existent? I’d ask the waitress to speak to a manager, but it’s so rare for her to stop by the table, I no longer see the point. I have eaten here approximately 3 times, trying everything from soup, to sushi, thai dishes, and tonight’s standard General Tso’s chicken. Nothing has tasted good enough to be worth the price. Go elsewhere with your money.

Thanks Chris for the reply. My girlfriend Renee who lives in the Cleveland area(i live is the Atlanta metro area) is a big fan of yours. It had been over a year since her last visit. When I mentioned that we should go out for Japanese she immediately thought of your place. She told me that she’s never had a bad meal and that the service has always been good. That still holds true and now I’m a fan as well.

Don’t know why I haven’t written a review for this place before now. This is my go-to meal in Cleveland. I always enjoy it. Today my wife and I had the spring rolls for our appetizer. Well prepared. I had a very good draft amber ale, Gerst I think. The lovely waitress, Ashlee, recommended a great IPA to go with my entrée. Sorry, I can’t remember the name of it, but it was great. By the way, Ashlee rocks! I had the kung pao tofu for my entrée. It was delicious. I’ve never had anything but top notch meals here. And the service is always good. Highly recommended! And for fellow vegans who despair of the typical choices you are presented with, try Fulin’s. All good.

Been a regular spot to go to for some time. Overall a great asian restaurant. I’ve had many favorites. But this particular visit the Szechuan chicken was just amazing. Comes out on an iron skillet and the production to put the sauce with the chicken and veggies was pretty cool to watch. The management under Chris is just top notch. They go above and beyond to treat you well. I’ve had Singapore Rice Noodles Extra Spicy and also the Sushi. By far very good stuff. Thanks!

The food is good, especially the sushi but this place is lacking lately. When it first opened the service, prices and staff was great. But over the past year the prices have gone up like crazy and the service isn’t as good as it used to be. If you are really craving good overpriced sushi you’re good to go. Miss the old way this place used to be.

Chris from Fulins, I started coming to Fulins in May after I moved to the area. Ya’ll were the first restaurant I ate at here in Cleveland. And what a warm welcome we got from our server when he found out! I went to Fulins on my birthday last month. Can I just say Kudos to my server that day. I wish I could remember her name. Instead of having all the servers come sing to me and embarrass the hell out of me, she told me that desert was on you guys, gave me some choices and then discreetly brought it out and then when she put my leftover food in a container she wrote«Happy Birthday from Fulins» on it. Loved it! I got the Garlic Chicken and my friend and I shared the shrimp special. It was a trio of shrimp. Tons of shrimp prepared three different ways with three incredible sauces. The coconut was my favorite! Then for desert I got the mango sushi. It sounds crazy, but it had mango, pinapple and banana rolled in seaweed and sushi rice then tempura battered and fried then served with that mouth watering coconut sauce. That first bite… I about lost all control. So amazing! Just writing this is making me crave that dessert! If someone comes in asking for the mango dessert roll before everything else… probably me! Thanks again Fulins! Keep up the amazing job! Love you guys!

Stopped by for dinner around 730PM on a Saturday night. We sat at a booth and I really did not get to look at the place much because we were seated in the front near the window. It has off street parking; it is in a strip mall so parking not an issue. The place from the outside does not look like much and would not have stopped in had someone not recommended it. We walked in, had no wait and were seated in a booth. The waiter was helpful and recommended some various menu items. My friend had Sushi, which I don’t eat but having been in Japan, this place seem to serve real«Japanese» food. She loved her food. They have draught beer, including craft beer and we had a Nashville Yahoo beer.(+++1). forgot the whole name.. it was very good. I had sweet and sour chicken, why? I don’t know I always seem to order that and they wish I had gotten something different and more healthy. My friends Sushi and noodles were very good and so was the brown rice. I really did not care for the breaded chicken, it seem like it came out of a frozen bag, sauce was on the side. I would not recommend that. I would recommend Sushi or maybe a Japanese dinner listed on the menu. I give it a 3++ and would like to go again and order a different meal. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Springs rolls were good. Alaskan sushi wasn’t stellar. Miso soup was very good. Pad Thai was better than some I’ve had, but not truly authentic. Service was outstanding … very well trained and very attentive. Service surpasses the food. Overall, a nice dinner.

So I was in the area and of course Unilocal what was nest me. Everyone wrote such great reviews so I had to try it. It did live up to the reviews. The food was good, made to order a plus with Asian, hot and looked pretty. The service was good could have been great if I gotten a little bit more attention but I’m ok. I would recommend the wonton soup and shrimp and garlic sauce. I would saw try this place if you are in the area. I will be back.

Finally an Asian place other than P.F. Chang’s nice enough to qualify as a «date night spot!» We went on a Saturday and the $ 5 cocktail special looked like a great deal! Props to management on that one and we don’t really drink. Food was good portions, the wife and I got Kung Pao Chicken and General TSO’s which was fantastic. We also got the Thai Sushi, which was great! The place was very clean and had a nice touch of class without making me feel like I had to drop tons of money. Ruthy was our waitress and she was fantastic. Hope she feels appreciated! Spent more than we intended to, but it was worth it. Well executed business.

We found this place on Unilocal as we were driving on I-75. We called an ordered carry out. It was ready when we got there and we are in the car because we had pets. Excellent service and quality. I would stop again the next time we are in the area.

Good, high-quality Asian food! A little pricey, but you’re getting what you pay for here. General Tso’s chicken is best I’ve ever had! Egg rolls are really good too.

I have been back to Fulins maybe 5 or 6 times now. Thought it was time to update my review. Music? I did not hear any. It might have been on. But I did not notice if it was. So that was different. One small negative was standing at the wait station for someone to seat us. The person who normally would I assume was deep in conversation at the bar with her back to us. Other people that worked there started noticing and eventually someone said something. No biggie except the mother-in-law can’t stand for long and it is hard for her. Beyond that, the service was good. Mother-In-Law only eats orange chicken, but still loves to look over the entire menu. Oh well… She ordered the orange chicken. Again we went for the vegan and vegetarian options. We gave the Miso Soup another try, as we as the Edamame. This time, both were better. The Edamame was nicely salted. Still could use some spices, but that is just how I like it. The Miso was good, just not very hot. But the taste was there. We also ordered two fried spring rolls which were good, but also a little lukewarm. Would have been better a little hotter. They came out quick, so I don’t think they sat for a long time, so not sure why they were not very hot. Also ordered an avocado sushi roll. This is very good and the avocado was awesome. The only downside is that the roll is a little small, so maybe I need to order two of these bad boys. I ordered the rice noodles. No meat, add tofu. It was almost perfect. What I did not know was that the dish included egg, so next time if I get it again, I will ask if they can make it without egg. It was still tasty with a nice curry taste. Dinner for three of us with tip was just over $ 50 with two entrees, three appetizers, and one coke and one tea.

I got the TSO chicken which is spicy but you can get it not spicy by ordering it sesame chicken. I had a wonderful waitress to take care of me named Ruthy so ask for her if you like. Come here hungry because they serve pretty big portions to say the least. They treated me real nice. Anybody out of town needs to come here for a good impression of Cleveland. They also have Happy Hour between 2pm and 7pm Monday thru Friday. Anyway, my food was great and I like how they bring the rice to you in a bowl. Looks like it was turned upside down to serve. There’s plenty of parking outside as this is a new shopping center. You can wear anything you like here whether its jeans or dressy.

Updating this because they deserve 5 stars for the comments made in the previous quote. I have been coming here for two years and never had a bad experience. That alone is worth the rating. Then you add great food and good service. To find a negative you have to think hard and dig deep. More of… what would I suggest to improve this place. The only think I would change would be the open area around the bar. Too open to the rest of the dinning area. Some divider walls would break away the dinning from bar crowd. But still a 5
