In my hometown I’ve had some pretty amazing pizzas, they are no where near as good as this pizza! I was traveling back south and came off from the highway exit looking for Italian. Unilocal helped me find this place and I’m glad it did this is one of the greatest pizzas ever. The price wasn’t too bad either. Wish they had one in my hometown.

This is absolutely the best gluten — free pizza I have had in the states. I ordered sun-dried tomato and green olives, and had them cook it a little bit longer to make sure the crust was done. Excellent!

Ok so I’m a Unilocaler and I love going off of reviews to try places out. HEREWEGO!!! I ordered the special 1 large 1 topping pizza and a order of bruschetta for 19.99 The bruschetta was good overall. Onions were a bit large and sauce didn’t seem homemade but had a nice flavor. The reason I’m here! The pizza was a pepperoni with jalapeños and green peppers. Man did it look great!!! And that’s when it STOPPED! This pizza had absolutely no FLAVOR! So weird with all of these ingredients and tasted like I was eating a moist piece of bread. No Kidding! I had to cover it in salt, Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to enjoy my 2 pieces I ate. I wish I could say this was better but I’m being honest. So far Gondolier pizza in Athens TN. Has been the best. Im giving it a 2 stars based on at least the bruschetta was good enough.

My favorite pizza place in town!!! Whenever I get that craving for pizza that nobody can ignore, I choose this place. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are cooked perfectly, and the whole meal is delicious. The only downside is that they don’t deliver, but honestly sometimes we all have to muster the energy to stroll out of our houses for some sunshine at some point, and this place is worth it! They have a large assortment of fresh veggies and meats that you can use to build your perfect pizza and the crust is in the happy middle of not too thick and not too thin. Be sure to remember this place when you crave that delicious slice of pizza! It’s worth getting out of the house to pick up or dine in.

The ingredients were good quality — after reading the reviews I expected a better gluten free crust — I’ve definitely had better and feel a bit price gouged — it’s hard enough being gluten free without having to pay extra for a less tasty crust. And you would expect better than bathroom napkins at your table — atmosphere was great and the people were friendly.

I am in Cleveland often for work and have been to Lupi’s about 5 times. Each time the pizza was excellent. The crust was nice and crunchy and the pizza itself very favorable. I usually order roasted garlic and a veggie pizza and the garlic cloves a whole pieces of garlic goodness. They also have a fair selection of good beers on tap. The décor is interesting and they generally play really good music(at least for me). I have never heard Phish before in a restaurant. My only ding is that it is a bit pricey. $ 1.95 for each topping is on the high end and they do not give as much as other pizza places. It is easy to rack up a $ 20 twelve inch pizza as the base price is higher than most pizza places to start with. Overall: Really excellent pizza.

Pizza is sooo good. Large NYC style slices. The side salad and home made Italian dressing is very good as well. We were driving from Georgia to Ohio. Wanted pizza to go and when my husband went into get it they gave him little boxes for my kids to eat out of. Very thoughtful! $ 20 for large pizza and amazing side salad was worth it!!!

I’ve been wanting to try this place, looking for a new place to have pizza in town. I like the atmosphere, it’s similar to Mellow Mushroom and has a lot of cool décor and art. You order at the counter to the left and get your own drinks. Being very short, I could barely see over the counter to order or get my drink. They do sell some beer which is nice. You get to see the guys make the pizzas and put them in the oven, food comes out fresh. My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza with bacon and ground sausage. It looked really good, I liked the crust but personally thought it was too meaty, I think the toppings were just too little. What was really lacking was the sauce. I enjoy a good sauce on my pizza but this was flavorless and not enough of it. Price wasn’t horrible but I’d rather had gone to Domino’s and got a pizza I really love. I would like to come back and try their calzones or maybe just a plain cheese pizza. Just wish it had more flavor, I might ask for extra sauce next time.

Pretty darn good. Had the mini calzone with fresh mushrooms, basil, sun dried tomatoes, and goat cheese. It was also $ 2 pint night and I had a great local beer(Chattanooga ChickBock). Both were tasty. And the total bill was about $ 11. Everyone who worked there was really nice, too. Service was great and they let me sit and read a magazine and finish my beer despite it being past closing time. Never once felt rushed. If I lived here I’d definitely be a regular.

This is the Cleveland location. My pizza was fantastic! I ordered a 12-inch Italian Sausage, red onion, mushrooms and goat cheese. Oh my oh my, it was soooo good. Love the hand-tossed crust, the bite of tang of the goat cheese, the locally sourced sausage. I also had a garden salad with house-made creamy Italian dressing. The dressing absolutely made the salad. It was so good. Tangy and creamy. I usually mix a creamy dressing with a balsamic or Italian dressing, but this was the perfect melding of the two. The BF had a wheat crust calzone. Looked a little bland to me but he said it was good. It came with a side of sauce, but the sauce is cold. It should be hot marinara sauce. That’s my only complaint. Lupi’s is a great Chattanooga-area pizza joint. If you haven’t been, you definitely need to make it a point.

We spent 5 days in Cleveland and ate here twice. We had the pizza the first time a good NY style pizza and fresh mozzarella. The second visit was for lunch and had the Calzone now that was great and one of the best I’ve had. It had a great crust and very good basic ingredients nothing fancy. Also Calzone was awesome for eating later cold like a sandwich. They are huge so split or expect leftovers. Will always stop here next time in town.

Yes, so far, the best pizza in Cleveland. After moving here from SoCal where we seemed to have a lot of craft pizza options, most of the local chain places are what they are… and I enjoy Papa Johns, etc for basic pizza. But when I want really good pie… I look elsewhere. Which took me to Lupi’s. Positives are: Friendly and cute girl taking our order. Great selection of craft beers including porters and stouts! Interesting décor. Clean Easy menu. Good pizza Easy parking The bread loaf is amazing. Yum. A real bargain too. We ordered a calzone and a pizza. I was happy that they also had some good ingredients like roasted garlic and avocado. They can make the pizza without cheese for a semi-vegan option, and for vegetarians they have plenty of non-meat toppings and a vegetarian lasagna. This is not bargain pizza… but as you often do, you get what you pay for and this place uses a good dough and the sauce is very good. Pizza was well cooked. Food came out quickly. Beer was ice cold as was the beer glasses. Nothing like an ice cold craft beer in a frosty mug! Service was very good, we were checked on a few times, each time with a smile. This is now my go-to pizza place in Cleveland. The one negative that removes a star. Toppings are added separately. There is no «veggie» pizza or other style of pizza. You pay per topping and each topping is $ 2.50. Even veggie toppings. And I know that if I order just one topping, I get more of that one topping. But when I order 4 or 5 toppings, there ends up being just a few bits of that topping on the pie… but I paid $ 10 or $ 12.50 more for the toppings. If I was in charge(I know… I am not!) :) I would create a few combos that make sense, and charge less for the 2nd and 3rd topping… and less for veggie toppings than the meat ones. I figure since I do not get cheese, I am saving them even more money. But as it is, dinner for 3 of us works out to about $ 60.

Very good pizza. Try the whole wheat crust! Made from locally grown wheat. Could be a bit more generous with the toppings. Good, southern service

Fresh Dough??? Well I decided to take another motorcycle trip 10/26/2011 I needed lunch. I wanted to go to Chattanooga. I only rode through there before. I looked on the internet for Italian Food in Chattanooga I kept my fingers crossed and came up with one in Cleveland Tn. I came across Lupi’s Pizza Pies. So off I went, alone. I started off at 11:30 am The weather was beautiful, and I got hungry the longer I rode. It took 2.5 hours to get there. I stopped at a Shell gas station and asked directions. The manager was great and she gave me perfect directions. I arrived at Lupi’s and went right for the rest room. It was very clean and spotless. The restaurant looked like a hang out from the 1960’s. Psychedelic colors. It was cool. Just like the good olé day’s. The pizza smelled good. The girl at the counter was very helpful. She can see it was my first visit. She explained the whole menu. Thank you. They claim to have hand tossed pizza, BUT. I didn’t see the cook toss one. Don’t get me wrong it was good. I ordered 2 slices and a salad with creamy Italian dressing. The salads are premade and kept in the cooler. It was fresh. I enjoyed it. I kinda think for 5.95 they could have given a couple pieces of garlic bread. It would have made the salad even better. When I received my 2 slices they were hot, just the way I like them. They folded well too. The dough was hot of the hand tossed kind. The sauce was from a can. It tasted good. I wasn’t there very long. The whole bill came to over 12.00 which I though was a little expensive. All in all the food was good I have no complaints and if I’m ever in the area and am looking for pizza I’ll stop there. Good Job Lupi’s

Thankfully, Lupi’s came to Cleveland. Hands-down, the best calzone I’ve ever eaten(and I’ve eaten many). While they offer A TON of toppings, I always go for the white bread(they also offer wheat), pepperoni, Italian sausage and ham. These things are so good that I rarely even use the sauce they bring on the side.(Starting to crave one, as I type this). My wife likes their vegetable lasagna, but I can’t speak for that. Never eaten anything except their calzones. Why? You haven’t tried one, if you’re asking me that question…

While dropping off a load of dorm room essentials for my son, we noticed that a new Lupi’s had taken over the old location of Slice of Roma. So for dinner we called all the family in the area to meet here for dinner. We were happy to find the interior design, the food, and atmosphere was consistent with all the other locations we’d tried. The fresh ingredients and build-to-order style always makes for a delicious pizza every time. I did mix things up this time and went with a calzone made with the white sauce, spicy Italian sausage, feta cheese, and cloves of roasted garlic. The calzone’s crust was thin and crispy and gigantic. Because of the funky industrial theme, the hard surfaces can make for a noisy environment when. Being so close to Lee University, it’s going to be full frequently, but we just beat out the dinner rush and got our party of seven right away. While we waited for our meals we were also able to take advantage of the free WiFi.
