My family loves their wine. It’s also a place we like visiting to enjoy nature and the mountain view. They let you walk through the gardens and pick your own grapes if you like. We held my brother’s «celebration of life»(a memorial) there and everything went really well. They have a large outdoor covered area with tables where you can hold events. There’s an outdoor bathroom near the party area, or you can walk over to the winery and use the nicely decorated indoor bathroom if you prefer. The outdoor one was actually quite fine though and it was air-conditioned, which was a happy surprise. Overall, Ocoee Winery is a nice, relaxing place to visit.

Great winery as this is the only one near and around Cleveland. They sell many different wines here. The wine I bought from here didn’t last long at my house to tell you how good it was. Service was fast and they took care of me here by asking questions. However, she kept waiting on people as was sampling only a few wines. If they are that busy on Ssturday, then, they need two people working. One to check people out, and the other to give samples. I’m just saying. It is kind of on top of a small hill too. But, once you get up here in your car, it is flat. Definite recommend for tourists or newcomers to the area. Just ask the worker questions to get something you like if he doesn’t. They have a bunch of different kinds but today I got Niagara.

I am a «no wine» person. I never liked wine. I bought some wine and I am hooked. The Red Muscadine blows my mind. It’s a FANTASTIC wine which tastes very different from regular wines but it is nothing short of amazing. I’ll be buying more, that’s for sure!

Many wines to sample. The Ocoee Red and Red Muscadine were ok. The Ocoee Red comes in dry and semi-sweet. The Red Muscadine is sweet and comes from the muscadine grape. These wines have a different taste and I can’t quiet figure out why. It may be the plastic tanks they use. Most wineries use stainless steel tanks. There were many nice things in the gift shop for wine lovers.
