Trendy coffee shop. A bit on the cold, industrial side as far as décor. I stopped in around noon, quick order at counter with easy going, friendly staff(and I think the owner). Reasonable prices. Lovely mocha/latte art. Mocha was strong on the coffee flavor, not very sweet and tasty. Was served almost lukewarm though and the chocolate settled into an unpleasant grit at the bottom of the cup. Will likely try them again while I’m in town, given ease of location and friendly staff.

I’m obsessed with Pour! Excellent tasting coffee that can be enjoyed in beautifully decorated shop. I tried the cortado and regular pour over. The coffee here is strong yet incredibly smooth & clean tasting… how do they do it!!! There are big tables to study or work on with multiple outlets available, or seats by the window to people watch. Love the minimalist décor with edison bulbs around the shop– super trendy. Coffee prices are a little more than regular coffee places but totally worth it for their unique, delicious coffee. Try their macadamia nut milk– a little bit sweet and less nutty than almond milk :)

SUMMARY: Solid coffee, nice people. FULLSTORY: Stopped by while running errands downtown. Staff was friendly and had good suggestions, they do pour-over with all the associated ceremony… and the coffee was pretty tasty! Loved the tables, outlets, sunlight, plants, etc! I think it could be improved with more bakery options like sandwiches, etc, and maybe cold brew in bottles… and then parking is kind of crazy around downtown. Note: If you’re getting groceries, Heinen’s is close and validates 90 min with $ 50.

This spot is flawless for work with good wifi and sunlit space. Tables are filled with outlets too. Apparently they’re known for their gourmet coffee — I am not much of a coffee critic, but their cold brew is definitely decent.

Great spot to get artisan coffee downtown CLE. Free WIFI and proximity my hotel was a major point of contention. I was greeted by friendly staff who were knowledgable and competent baristas.

Pour is a beautiful, hip and local business right at the heart of East 4th street off of Euclid Avenue. I am becoming a coffee slash tea lover and this is the place to stop in at as a beginner or an expert drinker. The staff is so helpful explaining all of the coffee slash tea terminology, so I and you, are able to make a decision within a reasonable time. Love the authenticity of this fabulous place where all can enjoy. I come here to to catch up with friends and not to study because it can be rather loud at times. It is nice to enjoy the liveliness of Euclid Avenue during the day too. You can’t ask for a classier, quaint, yet authentic coffee shop like pour in downtown Cleveland. Don’t be afraid to ask questions on their drink menu, they are experts and wiling to explain any and all questions you may have. Cheers to pour!

Fantastic little shop. Was a bit empty while I was there but the pour over coffee was divine. Great atmosphere, lot of power plugs for plugging in. Staff was extremely helpful on recommendations for coffee choice.

«There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.» ~~Aristotle Pour Cleveland is definitely doing something. Pour Cleveland distinguishes itself from its competitors(e.g., Rising Star, Vintage Tea and Coffee, and Erie Island Coffee) by offering coffees from a multitude of elite roasters from around the world(they have a Norwegian thing going on). Tim Wendleboe, a rising star roaster from Norway, is one international roaster consistently featured at Pour Cleveland and bringing me back for more coffee. The thing that makes Pour Cleveland a frequent destination for me when I visit Cleveland is their passionate, friendly, knowledgeable baristas and the top quality coffee they serve on a consistent basis. Not every shot of espresso is a «god-shot,» but they are fairly consistent. The baristas take great care in making my coffee and engage me as a guest, not a customer. I can get as geeky as I want with them, too, which is pretty cool sometimes. And the owner of Pour Cleveland has his pulse on what is happening in the world of speciality coffee and it shows up in my experience at Pour Cleveland. If you are new to coffee or want to experience coffee on a different level without judgement definitely attending one of their cuppings going on each Saturday. If you survive the cupping you will get a free cup of the group’s favorite coffee out of those cupped!

Very knowledgeable and patient with us Pour newbies. I got the Kenyan, One & One. Delicious. Bittersweet and frothy.
Love love love the drinks here! I also love the environment and atmosphere the café has. Awesome for a small meeting, catching up with a friend, and studying. Bonus: outlets almost everywhere! Baristas are super chill and nice. My favorite thing here is the hot cocoa with almond milk, it’s thick and rich. Wish I could come here more often. So nice~~

Ambiance is totally on point. Light, bright, airy and fully caffeinated, you will not fall asleep at Pour. I’ve only tried the pour over and the drip but both were awesome. Sure — it’s a little pricy, $ 3 for an 8 oz drip, but it’s certainly tasty. Will probably try their espresso drinks next. While their menu is on the smaller side, I respect it… Means they’re probably good at what they do.

Long live POUR! POUR is the chic downtown Cleveland coffee shop we’ve always needed. We are so lucky to have a place that matches the burgeoning vibrancy of our neighborhood. Full disclosure, I’m not a fancy coffee drinker. But Charlie(the owner) and his staff always explain things to me in real-people terms. My best friend is basically a coffee aficionado, and he’s always more than thrilled with his pour over options. I usually opt for the latte, which is always presented beautifully. The minimalistic vibe, wood accents and rustic lighting fixtures make for a very trendy and inspiring atmosphere. POUR also seeps natural light for DAYS in the way a modern coffee shop should. My love/hate relationship with POUR only exists because I go there to do work on my computer, yet almost always get distracted. POUR has really become the neighborhood coffee shop, and sitting in this heavily windowed environment will certainly allow you to be seen from the street. If I sit there for a few hours, I can guarantee that at least a handful of people I know will come in to talk to me and stay a while, as the environment is so welcoming. But I guess this is really a good problem for them to have. ;)

I stopped in last week just to grab a snack and a beverage. Unfortunately, I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t take advantage of the pour over coffees that most people rave about. They feature local pastries and mine was really good. I also got a hot chocolate. The place is really cute and in a great location.

Amazing local coffee shop that carries unique artisan coffee. Open and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to come in and stay a while. Pour has a great coffee bar menu that changes weekly. All coffee and espresso are ground fresh right when you order, you’ll never have to worry about stale beans. If the menu looks confusing just ask owner Charlie for a rec, he always has spot on recommendations. Great place to stop in before work for coffee(pour over preferred) and a bagel from Cleveland Bagel co or a Brewnut. It’s also a great place to work from with reliable wifi. Large communal tables encourage meetings with colleagues and strangers alike.

Pour is as good as it gets. The baristas are absolutely top notch, working on industry leading equipment with precision. I had the opportunity to speak with owner Charlie and barista Eli. They were friendly and took the time to chat for a bit during one of the rare moments when there wasn’t a line of people ready for a drink. The space is gorgeous and well thought out, with natural light coming in from every direction. The care that went into every inch of this place is astounding. Bravo, Pour.

What a lovely little place. Even though I have an aversion to caffeine, I still adore a great cup of(decaf) coffee or a beautifully crafted latte. And the fact that Pour Cleveland also has magnificent bagels doesn’t hurt either. The setup itself is open with a mix of rustic and modern. Pretty lighting, lots of windows and a handful of seating options. And while the menu is well-edited, what they do offer is on point. My decaf pour over was delicious(always with copious amounts of cream and sugar) and my toasted rosemary and sea salt bagel was great with the raspberry goat cheese schmear. I was, however, having FOMO when I saw Cara L’s cheddar chive cream cheese… next time, next time Pour Cleveland. Some room for improvement? Maybe a few more snacky options(there were only bagels and schmear when I visited at 8:30am on a Wednesday). Also, it would be nice if the baristas asked folks if they needed room for cream/sugar. I had show the world(and the floor) how un-graceful I am with trying to make room in my very full ceramic mug of black coffee.

Great Location! The 2 people working behind the counter certainly know a lot about coffee, they helped me pick a japanese blend that was out of this world. I love watching them make the coffee fresh and steep. The atmosphere was real cool, nice vibe, we could have stayed for another hour or two. Its great to see small businesses like this in downtown Cleveland.

The weather outside is warm for Christmas-time in Cleveland, but the wind still pierces the thin layers of your clothing to chase a shiver down your spine and incite goosebumps up and down both arms. This cold offends the thin blood fostered by three years in the Arizona desert, but it’s worth it, you think, as you beeline for the new Cleveland coffee shop with your whole family in tow. I’ve wanted to visit this place since I found it on Unilocal this past summer, you tell them as all three younger siblings and both parents amble past you through the door you’re excitedly holding for them. Walking up to the counter, you can’t help but notice the line of Chemex and V60’s prepped and ready for service. You’re greeted by both Gabe and Meghan, both fresh to their shift behind the counter and both more than willing to help you and your folks choose a coffee that fits your exploration like a warm glove on a blistery day. You learn that the featured beans have been sourced from a world-renowned roaster, all the way from Norway. Your face breaks into an unrestrained smile. You order a Chemex to share and a single pour(V60) of the showcase bean. Knowing you’ll want to remember this, you order a Pour Cleveland shirt while you’re at it. Mere minutes later, you hover over the members of your family as they each, in turn, eye their cups of black coffee and ask, So I just drink it like this? You nod and assure them they won’t be needing any cream or sugar. Before long, they all agree except for Mom who remains somewhat confused by the allure of «real coffee» as you so unabashedly term it. It’s not long before the Chemex is polished off, everyone’s had a sip of the showcase pour, and you’re returning dishes to the front counter. Both Gabe and Meghan are talkative and helpful and excited to have been a part of a first-time experience. You can tell that they love craft coffee and you can tell that they love their brand. This pleases you. Stepping back out into the grey Ohio weather, you’re swinging a craft white Pour Cleveland bag filled with a feather-soft grey Pour Cleveland v-neck shirt(from American Apparel). Gabe and Meghan call out goodbye’s and thank you’s as you leave with satisfied family in tow. You wonder at how much has changed since you were last here. Maybe Cleveland is growing up, you muse. Maybe I could see myself living here again, sometime soon… CONCLUSION If you’ve never been to Pour Cleveland, you’re missing out on one of the best coffee experiences available — not just in the area, but anywhere. Pour Cleveland is a standout little shop with plenty of seating, plenty of plug-ins for those computer and phone chargers, a diverse yet unintimidating menu, and truly outstanding and personable service. We drove a good hour to get there; I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re super lucky, you’ll run into the same two amazing baristas that we did. Get yourself a coffee, maybe snag a mug or a t-shirt while you’re at it. I promise you won’t be let down. THANK you, Pour Team, for putting together such an exciting concept right in the heart of Cleveland. You help to make it cool! And thank YOU, Meghan and Gabe, for being such wonderful hosts. I can’t wait to see you both again(hopefully sooner rather than later!).

Visiting from San Francisco for a conference and so glad to find Pour Cleveland near our hotel! Great espresso. My colleagues and I had the milk latte, almond milk iced mocha, whole milk mocha, cappuccino, Americano, hot chocolate, and cold brew. My latte was a perfect temperature(let’s save the burnt lattes for Starbucks). On that note, a few of my colleagues are more accustomed to Starbucks type drinks and thought that their mochas and hot chocolates were not as sweet as they should be. But that isn’t really saying much now is it? I thought my mocha was just sweet enough. Perhaps even a little too sweet. But I have a very sensitive palette to sweetness and most definitely do NOT drink syrupy sweet crap from Starbucks. ;) The cold brew was my favorite; it had a natural sweetness(as they should!) without being bitter. Delicious! Prices were fair and the ambiance is fantastic. Love the mid-century modern vibe and the antique furniture. The modern wall displays are creative(so tired of hipster cafes and their hideous art work!) and contribute to the blended modern/mid-century ambiance. The only constructive feedback I heard from others(and my own colleagues) was about Pour’s almond milk drinks. Almond milk is a tough one as you have a very small margin of temperature between being too cold and being burnt. And sweetened almond milk can often taste disgusting(bleh!). Charlie, the owner, knows his coffee and I love that he’s bringing artisan coffee to a growth area that isn’t inundated with hipster traffic. That’s risky and quite visionary. One challenge when being such a visionary is the temptation to be pretentious — something that many cafes in the SF Bay Area struggle with, turning away potential customers and garnering bad reviews. So long as Charlie and his team maintain humble customer-focused service(which is super hard to do when you keep having to explain to customers why you don’t have disgusting vanilla syrup), then I think Pour will not only do well but they will indoctrinate many Clevelanders into the café culture!
