Consistent food and consistent serice! The food is good BBQ and I have never been disappointed. The Brunswick stew is a winner(and I never really cared for Brunswick Stew before)

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We regularly have Sonny’s at home and felt this was better. We got the feast for 2 and were able to sample most of the meats and we have tons of leftovers. Not sure about these negative reviews but we were very satisfied.

So this is some decent BBQ. Not the awesome kind you find at a good hole in the wall places but still good. The Onion loaf is great! The pork I had was chopped finer than I prefer but was moist and tasted fine. Sauces are decent. It was very clean and service was great! So as you leave make sure you get a fried Apple pie! It will make you slap your mama!

Just Like a previous review below form Aaron this is similar to Sonny’s, but in NO way better better. I ordered the beef brisket for 12.99 I received 7 small slices of brisket which had about 10−15% fat on each piece, a small ladle of beans, and about a hand full of fries. I believe it is over priced for the amount of food you get. One thing that was unique the place mat was a paper bag. I will NOT be go back to Rib Country! I’m active duty Military and only support restaurants that support the Military.

We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and rack of ribs. The pulled pork was the most dry I have ever had. And we ordered it takeout — and it came with NOBBQ sauce whatsoever. Bleh! The ribs were extremely small for over $ 10 — I was surprised how little you get. The«chips» were stale tasting. We should have guessed when this place was totally empty. I hate to leave a negative review, but I wouldn’t want someone else to experience this. My advice — if you have to go here, at least eat IN so that you can maybe get them to fix it if it tastes this bad. We also ordered a couple cheeseburgers. For what its worth, those apparently were okay.

My husband and I ordered the Feast for Two as takeout. It included a rack of ribs, brisket, bbq chick breast, pork bbq, 2 orders of fries, 2 orders of baked beans, 2 orders of cole slaw, and 2 pcs garlic bread for $ 29.99. Everything was sooo delicious! We ate this for 2 nights! Highly recommend.

The pulled pork was amazing. This restaurant is similar to Sonny’s BBQ but better in my opinion.

Update: service really matters. We had a great experience this time! The food was great. I had the smokehouse salad with spicy ranch dressing and everyone else had the ribs. Everything was cooked to perfection and the servers were super nice! I also tried the blackberry cobbler which was also delicious. My mom enjoyed the food so much that we stopped in a couple days later on our way out of town and ordered takeout. She also tried the peach cider on the jars they sell out front.

Ribs were the best I have had anywhere. Brisket was delish, pork was excellent, chicken was moist and tasty. Sides were all excellent. I wish this was closer to home. The fried apple pie was to die for.

Never a wait and always good. The platter for two is always a favorite. Also their apple pie is awesome, and I’m not a big apple pie guy

Went back again yesterday and it’s still great. Feast for 2 can be easily for 3 adults, and possibly 4. This time we got the peach cobbler, which was AMAZING! We kept saying that we wish this was closer to ATL…

Well kids, the J/J Burger Tour promised it would come to Rib Country for a burger and it did happen. The Mountaineer is a good one. Usually, they cook it well done(NO!) and they may have this time. Listen up, guys; cook your burgers medium! Got it? But they have fresh toppings and American cheese. They do their fries, right, too. My pal Kristen always takes care of us/me when we/I eat here so make sure you ask for her. Also got a big yummy rack of ribs and all of you reading this get to see the pics. Get to it!

Food was great, service was great, there were no negatives about our meal. We ordered the sampler platter for two, and it was WAY more than enough food for both of us with pork, beef, chicken, and ribs, as well as fries and applesauce. The ribs and chicken were delicious and tender. Sauce was a little sweet for my taste, and the hot sauce was a little weird, but I could look past that, it’s about the meat. And again, the service was spot-on the whole time. I’d recommend it.

It was the end of a long, strange trip. A failed meal at Ma Gooch’s followed by the terror of watching Cabbage Patch children being«born.» Now I may know nuthin’ of birthin’ no babies, but I believe that – THAT – is not how it’s done. Imagicillin? They inject their Magic Crystal Tree of Life with Imagicillin? Could I get some of that for a recurring case of imagonorrhea? And seriously, the last time anyone showed me a glowing crystal in rural Georgia, I’d inadvertently walked into a meth lab. You might imagine that, by design, a day filled with wonders and oddities would eventually lead to something as solidly predictably as a BBQ joint. Though not our original plan, it worked out nicely. We knew nothing of this place other than, from the road, Rib Country looked refreshingly clean. Yahoo Travel, the Oracle of Despair that lead u

After our grand hipster douchebag outing, I came home tired and sated. But a very short while later, as I recounted the day’s tales to the boy, I began to feel nauseated. I looked at my arms, looking for imagicillin track marks. Maybe the nurse with the beehive or the beady-eyed Cabbage Patch doctor nicked me when I was busy trying to find my Cabbage Patch doppelgänger. Either way, I had an abrupt onset of something really akin to morning sickness or dying. I was dismayed to once again encounter my pulled pork sandwich from Rib Country. Still, I won’t hold it against Rib Country, because that sandwich was surprisingly good and it had the decency to stay down throughout the road trip and until I was in the comfort of my own home. Even pork sandwiches are polite in the South. The onion loaf was the cause for some debate before we ordered it. Is it bread with onions in/on it? It is onions deep fried a la Awesome Blossom? How do they get it into a box shape? These pressing questions were answered by a friendly server, who demonstrated with the use of a brown bag that our group of 5 needed only to order the small portion. It came out with a knife impaled in it and we never got around to dislodging it. We went to town with our grubby paws. It was a fine and yummy concept and execution. I initially had big dreams of eating a fried pie but I was so stuffed on the«Country Deal» [a sandwich, a side, and a drink for $ 5.99] that all I could do was watch James H bear the brunt alone. I don’t think I have the constitution for BBQ [no one else got sick], but if you do, and you happen to be in the area, you should give Rib Country consideration before most others. They’re open on Sundays and their food doesn’t suck.
