My nickname for this Starbucks is «the library» because over half of the clientele have laptops out(myself included), which is understandable as the predominately wooden seats(just three or four comfy chairs) and many outlets make this a good place to get work done(especially on a hot day like this).

The staff that they have working here now in University Heights Ohio are is very shitty I’ve been coming here for two years and it’s never been bad until now. I will definitely have to find another Starbucks to go to even though this one is more convenient I’ll be have to be inconvenienced because I’m being inconvenienced either way I go. It’s one thing when people know your drink and make it for you but now they just assume and get upset when you tell him that that’s not what you want I’ve been ordering the same thing for a little over a year and now because is a different variation of it and most people get that variation this on that I wanted as well which they should not do and then they tell me that I need to be more specific when is not my job to be specific because that’s what I’ve been doing and that’s what the original drink is it’s their job to make sure they get that shit right and they have not done that yet. There was a worker here name Evan I don’t think he’s there anymore but he was nice and that’s about it.

Definitely one of the more spacious Starbucks around, though I had one of the most impolite baristas I’ve ever encountered. The fact that I’ve seen other viewers mention this type of service makes me think that it’s the kind of thing that happens somewhat often.

I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee but this one is exceptional. The location is good, they do a lot of business and the staff is nice. I go in occasionally for the ice tea. They have nice outdoor seating. WiFi is pretty slow. Seating is really really hard to come by. With a bit of remodeling they could accommodate all of their guests.

This review is for this specific Starbucks location! Since I moved to the Cedar-Fairmount area, I’ve started frequenting this Starbucks as a place to get some work done where I won’t be constantly distracted by my dog. Overall, the space is set up really well, with plugs for every table(yay!), a fireplace with limited ‘comfy’ seating, and about as many tables as you could reasonably fit in the space. The tables are almost always full, but usually you can manage to find a seat somewhere. The noise level is tolerable. Usually the conversation and music combo aren’t enough to drive you bonkers(which was kind of the point I was at during the weeks leading up to Christmas while working with a friend at her default Panera location). I will admit that sometimes I wake up at night with«Cupid Draw Back Your Bow» stuck in my head because it gets played every time I go(or at least has seemed that way this week) but there are worse things in life. Once, I had an employee look at me with an odd expression when I handed him my credit card. He then told me he was thrown off because most people pay with their phones. No one else there has ever had that reaction though, so not sure what he was thinking… My one major complaint — and the reason why the review is three stars rather than the four I’d really like to give — is that their WIFI is crap. Total crap. And they know it. There’s only so much that you can expect from employees on this, but really, if you’ve switched over to Google and it isn’t working, get someone out there ASAP and don’t let them leave until they’ve fixed it. Telling me that someone came out and it still isn’t working only tells me this problem isn’t going away anytime soon. I appreciate that you’re letting me in on the secret that Liquid Planet also has free WIFI, but honestly, there’s isn’t that great either, and I’m not paying Liquid Planet — I’m paying you. And lets be honest, if I’m buying a Tazo tea for half the price of what a box would cost me, clearly I’m paying for something more than the tea. So overall, great location to work — but don’t count on the WIFI. Hoping that I can change this review to four stars soon…

I love coming here to study! There are a lot of tables in the back area for your studying pleasure :) You can find parking in the garage located conveniently behind Starbucks(25 cents/hour). Or if you’re lucky, you can find some street parking :)

Your generic Starbucks. Had a latte here because it was the closest Starbucks to Case Western’s campus. It’s a — ok.

There’s really no point to review«Starbucks» as a whole. We already know how the coffee is and the company is all about. I’m going to review this Starbucks at the Cedar Fairmount location. I think this is definitely the best starbucks in the area. The staff make you feel like you’re walking into a family owned coffee shop. It’s like Cheers where everyone knows your name and how you like you’re mocha frapps. They do a good job of dividing the space between incoming customers and seats for the loungers. I can’t say enough about this place. I love it.

There are thousands of them all over the world so I will not talk about the quality of the food here. It is located in a nice neighborhood, free wifi and there is ample place to just sit and do your work while sipping on expensive coffee. I drink tea so for me starbucks is like any other coffee shop where I can sit and do my work and this place is very good for that. There are plenty of students from Case Western University here all the time. Nice and youthful place.

Starbucks is Starbucks– The coffee is expected, the baristas are friendly and there are always students studying at the tables. Definitely one of the larger Starbucks with ample room for reading and work. However, the size and high turnover rate for customers usually leaves the common area a little on the dirty side. The clientele sometimes is not the best for long-term studying, especially at night. Parking is usually an issue as Cedar is quite busy during key coffee-drinking hours.

What can you say about Starbucks that everyone doesn’t already know. I don’t think it’s worth it to comment on the coffee or food, because it’s what you’ll find at pretty much every location, from Cleveland Heights to Saskatoon. The atmosphere is pretty good … this is a university area, so it’s often filled with students with their noses in books or laptops, but it’s also very much a community gathering place. I have seen many groups of adult friends meet there, as well as apparent job interviews take place. I think the WiFi is free at all Starbucks now, but just in case, you can always connect to the open network from Liquid Planet next door.

This is a pretty nice Starbucks, but holy hell it gets really busy. You can pretty much bet this place is always going to be filled with Case students. The staff is rather friendly and the store’s clean, so I can’t say too many bad things. Just expect a crowd — if you want quiet time here, bring headphones.

Pros: – Great place to meet people, both inside and outside the building where they have tables – Free wifi – Free parking in the bank lot on the side street and metered indoor parking across from the bank lot – Manager and some staff members are very friendly and professional – Frequent chess playing, especially in summer – Close to Jillian’s bar if you need a beer break Cons: – Due to the quantity of people who come through here, cleanliness is an issue at times – Some workers are not friendly and seem to have an attitude – One bathroom out of order frequently, one part of roof leaking at times, some wifi outlets cracked or not working

Friendly service, space is large and airy. Storefront faces south so huge windows in the landmark Tudorbethan Heights Fairmont building let in plenty of light. Space could be a little less cluttery, but this is a quibble. Location is convenient, in a beautiful area of town with plenty of character, and there is a parking garage in the rear. Watch the world go by…

Like any other establishment in the world, this place has its upsides and downsides. For me, the upsides outweigh the downsides. Want to know why? Read the review! On one hand, this place consistently makes great drinks. Many of the other Starbucks – especially the one at Cedar\Warrensville Center – are wildly inconsistent. Additionally, on the rare occasions when the drinks haven’t been great here, the staff has been extremely willing to do what was necessary to fix the problem. Speaking of the staff, if you go there often enough, they will treat you as if they know you well… which is a nice touch. When I lived down the street from this location, the manager knew me by name and addressed me as such every time I spoke with him. Furthermore, this place isn’t noisy, and the clientle is generally quiet. Sure, another reviewer said that people aren’t friendly… but honestly, when most people I know go to a coffee shop alone, they don’t want to be bothered. Is that so wrong? I never knew that wanting to keep to oneself in order to get some good studying done was a crime. I’d MUCH rather go to a coffee shop where people were a bit antisocial and quiet than a coffeeshop(like Phoenix on Lee Road) that features concert-level noise at times, especially when younger kids storm the place after school. Plus, I was also impressed by the fact that they expanded their hours once they realized that there was a high demand for later hours on Sundays. On the other hand… getting into Studio 54 might have been easier than finding a seat at this place. I have never been here when the doors open, but honestly, I think that there might be a queue of students here on some mornings waiting to snatch up a prime study spot. I have made multiple trips to this place on the same day – what can I say, I’ve been drinking coffee regularly since grade school! – and I have seen the same exact person sitting in the same exact spot. Additionally, they don’t have free WiFi, which really sucks. Sometimes, I will drive the extra 15 minutes down Cedar to Caribou or Phoenix if I need to use the Internet. I think perhaps they are changing it so that ATT customers can get free WiFi in the future, but until that happens, one has to pray for a free, open wireless signal if they don’t want to shell out a king’s ransom for wireless. Also, due to the heavy traffic at this place, they use those automated espresso machines(but I have heard rumors that Starbucks is getting rid of those…) and the shots from them tend not to be as strong. All in all, this place isn’t bad… just don’t get your hopes up for always being able to find a seat, especially during finals!

Aw, this place ain’t so bad. The crowd here is a convergence of local personalities, art students, business folk who work or live in the area, residents who work at University Hospital, and yes, Case students, most of whom are working and don’t want to be bothered. Etiquette: You can sit outside on the benches and be social. If you don’t want to talk to anyone(or to be hit on, which is not an infrequent occurrence for women), sit in the corner, and put on headphones. Things to be aware of: WIRELESS: There is a unencrypted wireless available. The signal isn’t great, and it’s not always available, but it sure beats the overpriced tmobile network. FUNFACT: See if you can find the chair with«William M., Class of 2003, School of Medicine» engraved on the back. Apparently, Will studied at this Starbucks so much during his four years of medical school that his mother bought the chair, and had it outfitted with the plaque as a Christmas present. OUTLETS: There are outlets along the walls, but the one closest to the door on the right(coming in) doesn’t work.

I am not the biggest Starbucks fan to begin with, but I must say that I find this particular Starbucks to be particularly objectionable. It is rather large for a Starbucks, with plenty of space… but the space tends to be always filled up. Who goes here? The most stuck-up 5% of students from Case Western Reserve University, and an assortment of other snobby individuals. Each person has at least three electronic devices set out on their table: Laptop, Palm-Pilot, Cell phone, etc. The staff is slightly less snobby than the customers, but there is little anyone could do to overcome the insurmountable barriers to establishing a reasonably pleasant atmosphere in this place. This is one Starbucks to be avoided, as if you shouldn’t avoid them all. Especially in Cleveland heights, there are so many other Coffee shops to choose from.
