I had my first tattoo done here and it was an amazing experience! I came in with my friend who was getting a piercing and we were both a bit nervous– everyone at the shop was so welcoming and friendly that we quickly felt comfortable and our nerves were calmed. Everything was hygienic and safe and it was not at all a sketchy environment that some might have experienced at other tattoo parlors. And I’m very satisfied with how my tattoo came out. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any other tattoos or piercings I get done!

Went in for my first tattoo and it went as smoothly as I could have hoped for. I was a little annoyed by the fact that they were not open until about an hour after the listed open time but after that I have no complaints. The shop was clean and each of the artists I talked to were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Had a great experience with this shop. I was looking at different reviews when I decided to email the shop with a pic of a tat that I wanted. The owner was very quick to respond and set me up for an appointment later that day. I met Damion when I got there to do my tat. He was great. He was very pleasant and did a great job. It turned out great. I will return here when I am ready for another one.

hi, I have had 2 tattoos and one piercing done at this shop, the owner and all his workers are awesome, they do amazing work I would tell anyone to go here, the shop is one of the cleanest one ive been too … love this place ill be back

Seen and had J. Artist work done. Always 100%. Incant speak for his employees, personally, but I highly doubt he’d put together a crew of no less than great talent. Best in Cle definitely.

When it comes to tattoo shops, I didn’t used to care if they were seedy. I know, blame it on my youth. Now, I’m the one doing research and asking around before visiting a place, and cleanliness is paramount to me.
True Art Tattoos is a place you can trust.
I went here this week after reading through a dozen Unilocal reviews of shops in the area. I called ahead and made an appointment, and was impressed by how open and friendly it was when I arrived. John, the owner, quoted me a price and I got started right away on paperwork. Billy was my guy, and I commissioned him to do a cover-up piece on the back of my neck: a sizable feather he drew freehand first. No stencil? No problem! Billy is very talented and made the picture in my head come alive. I’m looking forward to going back for touch-ups.
No need to fear the needle here.
