Needed a 26-foot truck near University Circle for a short distance in-town move. Got possibly the most tired, ridden-hard-left-wet truck I’ve ever seen. It had nearly 200k miles on, brakes that were beyond mushy, and a box that looked as if it went 12 rounds with a hungry Mike Tyson. It got us the needed 8 miles round trip, I didn’t hit anyone(thankfully), and even managed to knock the glove box open with a lovely springtime pothole strike. If you want/need a nicer ride(like for a real move across the state) go somewhere else. The trucks all look pretty well worn. Otherwise, for what we needed they got the job done.

Everything was good with the truck, furniture pads and dollies that I rented. The price is exactly as indicated and since I was doing an in-town move you get burned mostly on mileage charges… But hey you could read about all of that on so be my guest and do that… The location is in a semi-rough area of town. Even during business hours, in broad day light, the door into the store remains locked. Every individual patron that wants to enter has to knock and be buzzed in. It was as if this place is just expecting you to rob them. My main complaint with his place was just the sheer amount of time it takes to process a rental. There were only 2 people ahead of me when I got there but it still took 20 — 25 minutes for me to get my rental and go which was frustrating. Overall I’d use the location again and I’d also tell other downtowners about it but I wouldn’t exactly be giddy to go back.
