Cool Hair Studio

This place is awesome. Alex does the best job! He is an awesome stylist. Just make sure you have an appointment because he is always busy and booked. They always have great snacks! They even sell granola because it’s so delish. They have great deals. The staff is super friendly. They also sell jewelry and purses to finish your look before you go out on the town! You cant go wrong with this place. I even take my kids here for haircuts. Love cool hair studio!

I went here in June and I thought it was the greatest place! I made an appointment for my trim, I was given an appointment for September 9 at 1pm. This appointment was given to me by Alex, he said they would be open on Mondays in September. Well yesterday was sept 9 and at 1 pm I got there I waited there for 40 minutes and NO ONE SHOWED UP! I can understand if they decided not to open on Mondays but it would have been professional to call me and change my appointment! When I called there today, Alex answered the phone and he didn’t even apologize for the mix up! I will NEVER go back there again! He is unprofessional and very RUDE!!! Do not waste your time there!!!

I have been going to this salon for 13 years. Did my hair there for my Quinceañera and went back for my wedding day. I will confess I have visited other salons in between but the bottom line is that I always go back to Alex (my hair dresser). The staff is very friendly and I feel like at home every time I go.

Before I could even go to this place, I called with a question and the person on the phone provided ridiculously bad service. Their connection was bad, music was blasting so they couldn’t hear me, and I couldn’t even tell what language they were speaking. I wouldn’t waste my time here.

I started getting my hair done at Cool Hair Studio about 2 years ago when my hair colorist of 13 years set up shop there (This shade of red does not exist in nature – I would follow that woman to the ends of the earth and back!)
What NOT to expect at Cool Hair Studio: Anything fancy. If you are looking for a Sex-​In-​The-​City-​style, cucumbers-​over-​the-​eyes, teacup-​poodle-​in-​the-​lap spa experience, this is NOT your salon.
What you CAN expect at Cool Hair Studio: Service, service, service! Fair prices. Results. And snacks on Saturday afternoons. And awesome music. (Seriously…AWESOME music.) Also, cheerful décor in colors that make me happy.
So, to recap:
If you want: Carrie Bradshaw + cucumbers + poodles = Do NOT go here.
If you want: Your hair done by nice people who give you snacks and DON’T charge you an arm and a leg + music + happy colors = GO HERE!
No, really. Go. Your hair is a hot mess.
