Wiseguys Bar & Grill

This is a hard review to write, because I can’t think of anything exceptional to say in either direction. I can’t recommend going out of your way to go there, but I wouldn’t suggest you stay away either.
It’s a neighborhood bar and grill with a Rat Pack/​Mafia theme. Kinda cheesy, but hey, it beats the standard themes you see in bars and chain restaurants.
The waitstaff is pleasant but unremarkable. Some are attentive, some seem to go through the motions. Nobody goes over and above, and nobody outright dogs it.
As for the food, it also runs the gamut. They have a nice selection of bar appetizers, sandwiches and burgers, pizza and more general cuisine. I’ve had a burger, boneless wings and some appetizers so far, and all were perfectly okay. Nothing was bad by any means, but nothing was blowaway awesome. Prices were reasonable and serving sizes were good.
Basically, the takeaway for Wiseguys is: good enough. If you’re tired of other choices or out and about and nearby, it’s good. But it’s not a destination either.

Aww man… so sad, this used to be my favorite go to spot and it is definitely off the list for really bad customer service. My family and I have loved this spot since it was Firehouse. Would definitely suggest a place down Harper instead. So disappointed.

Wow I just want to share a HORRIBLE experience I just had at Wiseguys on Harper. We went for a bike ride and decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat and a cocktail (keeping it safe no drinking and driving). Bar tender greeted us, took our drink and food order and was very friendly… 10 minutes into our cocktail the manager came over and asked «who’s bike?» With which we responsed ours and explained that I forgot the combination to the lock (that was very visible). He proceed to be VERY RUDE as we explained that we just ordered food and we would be leaving shortly, oh no that was not good enough for him, he wanted us out and now! He sat done next to us while we cancelled our food order and paid the tab for the drinks we couldn’t even finish! I can understand if the place was packed but we had the bike completely out of the way and there was only 4 other people in the whole place! And the way he handled the situation was completely uncalled for. We proceeded to stop at Orleans in Mt Clemens and they loved us, bike and all!

DJ Mike working the spin tables tonight. Last call for food was at 1230am, and of course, I walked in just before … so I had a beer and skooted. Service was good.

Good burger spot, I haven’t had much else here.
The clientele leaves much to be desired, but the bar, the food, and help was all good on my visit.

Honestly, wasn’t impressed at all. It’s a nice place inside, but my servers have been mediocre and bad the two times I’ve been there. The first time I went, the server didn’t check back frequently at all. We were there for almost an hour and a half and I think we saw her three times total.
The second time I went, I got over charged. They tried charging me too much for a drink that was on special. Not to mention the attitude I was getting when I asked about it.

If you’re trying to watch the game, this is the place. It’s impossible not to have a good seat as there are televisions covering the whole bar. Service is fast and reliable as the wait staff uses iPads take your order. The décor is new and fresh and a nice change from the other local watering holes.
If you know anything about their original location, you know the food is top notch. The menu has transitioned to the new store and still contains some of the best specialty pizzas around (I suggest the Reuben!). I recently tried the new square and was very pleased with my order.

Sincs the last time I went to wiseguys (2 years ago) everything has changed especially the food quality. I tried the build your own burger which was fresh and cooked perfectly. Its a nice size bar and grill with lots of tv’s which is great for any sports games also clean environment which made me want to come back again. I would defiantly recommend this place.

Been here twice and probably won’t be back. Both times I’ve had horrible service. It takes forever to order anything because the waitresses cannot be found.
