NOTE — I’ve posted the same review for Kidz Kutz, since it is the same business as L & J. There is a new owner, and none of the staff from the other reviews are there any more. To be fair, they are under new ownership and management as of Summer 2014. The name is actually L&J /Kidz Kutz, and the new owner is reviving the business. This is the place to go for consistently outstanding results, whether it’s an adult or child. Ask for Julie if she’s available, but I understand some of the other new stylists are just as good. I’ve always been very pleased with my haircut at L&J /Kidz Kutz, and Julie clearly takes a lot of pride in doing a great job. As a guy, every haircut used to be a roll of the dice for me. Now I just go to L&J, and it’s great every time. One less thing I have to think about in life! The same goes for my 13 year old son. His haircuts look really nice every time, and they make the process as enjoyable as a haircut can be for a kid. Prices are very fair, and comparable to anybody else in the area. Maybe you could find a place for two dollars less, but you don’t want to walk around looking like you cut your own hair! Beat a path to L&J and get a great cut.

Contrary to the other review, everyone was very nice and accommodating. They got my son right in for his first haircut. The kids room is cute, but could use a little updating. He loved sitting in the car and driving, and the hair dresser put on an Elmo video for him to watch. She was very good with him and gave a good haircut. The price is high for how little hair he has at $ 15, but at his age it’s nice to have somewhere that he can be distracted with toys and movies.

Wow! I mean… WOW! Quite possibly the worst customer service/haircut experience I’ve come across ever. My wife & I brought out little girls there to their«Kids Cuts» side because they have fun little barber chairs for kids, & my wife liked someone who used to cut hair there… No longer. We walked in a few minutes(7 exactly) late and were greeted by Jessica who’s very first words were, «Well, you are 10 minutes late, so I can only cut one of them!» There wasn’t a single person sitting in the waiting area(understandably). She«let» the new receptionist do the second haircut to accommodate us. Literally 9 minutes & $ 21 dollars later my wife and I left the«salon» with 2 bad haircuts from a teenager & a fat little 20-something who feels entitled enough from her 6 week Vidal Sassoon degree to keep us in line. Needless to say, this is our last visit there. Since our visit, we have heard similar stories. So if you are considering this place… don’t. In this economy, with those nasty little attitudes, the place will be out of business in a year or so anyway. Way to go Jessica. Hopefully when you grow up a little, you’ll realize that you shouldn’t adopt business ethics from bad reality television.
