Coming here is like a safe haven from the noise of life. It can be annoying to drive the two lane road here, but it’s as though you forget you’re in PG County and are instead somewhere much more peaceful. My grandmother is buried here, as are two uncles. They’re near each other, so it’s zen to come with flowers, maybe even a blanket to sit on, and just mellow out for 20 minutes. There are peacocks that live on the grounds, which both fascinate yet confuse me(I didn’t think peacocks could live in this climate?). The only downside is that I wish their hours were later in the Winter, but I know that they have to consider the shorter daytime hours.
