Olive & June Boutique

Cute little boutique, probably one of the best ones in Clovis. They’ve got a lot of military themed clothes and a nice sized sale rack. Worth stopping by.

My review comes from having a background in retail from an entry level associate to management level experience in flagship clothing retail stores.
The presentation in the store is on point for a small boutique. Always clean and never cluttered. Great organization for for sale racks, color schemed clothing, pants & accessories. Although this is a very trendy and cute boutique in Clovis, some of the clothing is a bit over priced ($ 30+ for non-​name branded, thin striped long sleeve shirt) for low quality fabrics that have a made in China feel to them. It’s the type of fabric you would have to hand wash and lay flat to dry or else the fabric will wear, tear, and have little balls of lint after the 2^nd wash. Also the patterns of prints on sweaters are not dual sided (great quality prints on fabric have this trait) & the seams where patterns meet don’t quite line up in the right places on both sides. Had the clothes had such qualities, I could understand the price points. But hey, people still need to price point and make a living, right?
Customer service could also be a little more refined. I came in and wanted to put an item on hold. The item was on sale, and knowing they give military discounts, I asked if the store still gave military discount on sale items. The manager got a little snooty with me and informed me I couldn’t do that because they don’t do double disocunts. That’s fine, but that policy should probably be written in fine print somewhere on the sale sign or at the register. She didn’t have to be snooty when replying back. Anyways, I still wanted to put the item on hold so I could think about buying it and come back later. I wasn’t asked for a name to put it under which I thought was kind of odd. Normally when you put something on hold you at least get someone’s name. When I came back 4 hours later on that same day after I had stuck the item on hold, the item I wanted to buy was back on the rack. What a lack of courtesy to their customers.

Looove this boutique! Everything is priced so well and the staff is great! Just what Clovis needed!

The clothes are very high in quality; I was delighted at the fabrics that feel so luxurious at such decent prices! Sweet owner, as well.

I stumbled on this awesome boutique when I dropped something at the UPS store today. All I can say? YAY!!! Super cute and fun clothing in CLOVIS! I found three tops that are on trend and were easy on the pocketbook. The owner was very sweet and helpful. She was attentive to all the customers who were browsing. I am excited about my new clothes and future trips to this neat little boutique.
