Sew-N-So Alterations

Business acumen lacking here. The owners failed to start alterations on my clothes beyond the completion date agreed upon. His excuse, «it’s not even a week late.» Wow! That’s not what you’d hope to hear from a business owner who guarantees his work. I informed him I need these garments done by last week for a business trip I was taking this next week. Clearly, he’s not a man of his word.
Further, he did not provide a price quote when I dropped off my clothes. He simply said it wouldn’t be that much. Once we minced words he said he would finish as soon as possible, $ 130 for 5 shirts? He wasn’t doing anything more than taking in the sides. What a rip off. Guess he wanted to try and charge me more for doing the work in an expedited manner that was already several days late.
There are cheaper places, with quality craftsmanship too, that will do it on time. I recommend looking for alternate tailors or seamstresses.

I take all my work uniforms here. Their outstanding work is outdone only by their customer service! I have gone in a year later and they remember my name, where I work, etc. I can’t remember what I had for dinner last night. They are incredible. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

*It’s been almost a year since my original post, but Sew-​N-​So deserves tons of praise.
I took in a 2 pairs of Ariat jeans ($ 75.00 each) and again, they perfectly matched thread color and stitch style. (Looks just like the factory stitching).
The owner recognized me from a year ago and even remembered my name and my original request for services from January.
Young, professional, warm and kind. Quality work and great customer service. I highly recommend them!

I took in my wedding dress 2 days before my wedding (I know, very last minute) to have the length taken up. I picked up my dress the morning of my wedding, went about all my other tasks, and about 40 minutes before i walked down the aisle, I put my dress on. It was beautifully hemmed, the perfect length, absolute quality work. What could have been a disaster, was saved by Sew-​N-​So. I highly recommend their services.

They did a great job but my only qualm is that they didn’t call me when it was ready, which isn’t that big of a deal.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. Patrick and his staff have taken very good care of me. Awesome customer service and an eye for detail. I have never been disappointed.

WEDDING ALTERATIONS: I have been a bridesmaid almost a dozen times, and I always ALWAYS go to Mia and Hiep. Mia’s work is fantastic and SPEEDY, and her attention to detail is better than any other work I’ve seen, and trust me, I’ve been in enough weddings to know which alteration spots in town can deliver! Since I’ve been in ‘wedding season’ for the past few years, the stress of getting bridesmaid dresses altered is never ending, but because of Mia’s seriously meticulous work, her quick return on garments, and her overall positive energy, I am happy to give this place ANOTHER five stars. I will continue to refer anyone in need of alterations to see Mia and Hiep at Sew-​N-​So.
Save yourself from the likes of Martinizing seamstresses, and put Sew-​N-​So down as your go-​to for bridal alterations.

No matter how difficult the job, these guys always pull it off. You’d never know that any of my clothes have been altered. I highly recommend this place!!!

Hip was very nice and made sure to have my alterations done by the time I needed them. It was my first time going to them and I will take all my stuff there now. The pricing was very fair as well.
