As you walk in, you’ll notice rows of liquor, wine, champagne bottles. This is a family-run store. The owner works here most of the time. He is a very polite and helpful gentleman. If you need something, he can point you in the right direction in a few seconds. If he doesn’t have it, then you don’t waste your time searching. It’s a small space, so even though everything is well organized, it seems cluttered. They have the typical well-known brands such as Ketel One, Grey Goose, Jose Cuervo, Jim Beam and an assortment of other brands. The selection doesn’t seem to be as large as the ABC store on Glades and Lyons, but this store is only ¼ of that store. On my first visit, I was in search of a bourbon for a pecan pie recipe. After explaining what I was after, he led me right to it. I was in and out of the store in about five minutes. SN: I rarely get carded and he carded me! I wasn’t sure if he was serious when he asked for my license. He definitely was! Thanks for boosting my ego! :-) My second visit was yesterday. I was in search of a wine. I thought at first I wanted Moscato, but then I wanted to purchase Prosecco. However, after browsing around the store for about 10 minutes or so, I purchased a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I couldn’t find the brand I normally purchase. There were a couple of spaces missing from the wine rack, so they probably ran out. I wanted to get some Guinness also, however, they only had it in packs of bottles. I prefer the cans vs. bottles. They have a variety of other beers though. They also have several bottles of wine chilling in the refrigerator, ready to be served. It is very convenient, especially if you are in a hurry. The prices are comparable to other stores. Not only that, but it’s a local business owner. I prefer to give my dollar to the local business owner because it’s harder for them to compete with places like BJ’s, Costco, Walmart or Publix. I really like this store and will continue to do business here.
