Great beer and friendly faces. It’s not your average brewpub. Love the peanuts! Totally down to earth!

I like that they have pints, half-pints, and tasters so that you get to try a little bit of everything without drinking too much.

Slate Creek is one of the few brewery’s in the area. The atmosphere is okay and the design of the interior is claustrophobic. The beer is good and the quality is great since it is brewed right on site and delivered directly to your taste buds! If your looking for a fresh brewed beer in the area then check out this place. They often have live bands on the weekends and they close around 9:00pm. Customer service was okay and I would definitely go back for another round!

Thought I would give them another try after they had been open for a while. The beer was worse than before! Sam Adams mixed with bong water bad. Server was nice enough and efficient but the atmosphere was a ski bro class reunion. It’s not often I leave a full beer on the table. Meh.

The atmosphere here is cool. But it’s pretty obvious you need to be a regular to get good customer service here. It was Friday at 5, so of course it was going to be busy, and they only had one person behind the counter, so we expected to have to wait in line a bit. But as we saw 4 people come in after us(3 of whom had with their special mugs that hung from the wall) get served before us, we had had enough. My husband was especially bummed not to get his growler filled or a stamp on his ale trail map, but it just wasn’t worth the wait. There’s nothing worse than going to a place that makes you feel like everyone but you is a VIP.

Definitely not impressed. The beer is not good. The atmosphere isn’t pleasant and the only thing to snack on are peanuts. I recommend Daft Badger just a few blocks away, much MUCH better.

Great atmosphere and fantastic beer. Not usually a fan of lighter beers but I order the Norse Necter every time and it is delicious!

Nice microbrewery. We tried the sampler and several free peanuts, tossing the shells around. Very comfortable setting. We liked the camp chairs set up out back.

The beer is just ok. No food but you get all you can eat peanuts. You can order food from the nearby Bistro on Spruce. Save your money and go to the Daft Badger on 2nd street. The beer is much better, as is the food.

Fun place! Great beer, fun atmosphere(no tv’s, just good old fashion catching up!), and good people. Love it! Also — If you’re hungry you can order food from the Bistro next door and have it delivered to the brewery.

If you love ale you will love this place. Do not see a TV, but a very friendly place where people come to have a drink and talk. Food is from the bistro next door. It is a special menu which I knew before coming. No kids.

Super trendy nano brewery! These guys have some great beers(although they don’t always keep them all on tap… it is a nano brewery after all)… but if you’re lucky enough to come on a a night were they have the Six Weight IPA on draught, you’re in luck! The Norse Nectar is another winner! Check em out!!! And the free peanuts are AWESOME!

This brewery was super hard to find, it is easier to get to from 5th st, and wasn’t well signed. Once getting inside the bartender was friendly, but I was surprised that they only had 5 beers on tap and charge $ 1 per sample to taste or the same for a taste flight. We also were excited for the peanuts, but it seemed dirtier then it should have been. As for the beer I loved 2 of the 5, the others were very hoppy, but for as few as they have they had something for everyone.

They might look and seem busy but service is always top notch! Great variety of beers on tap and new varieties always showing up. Throwing peanuts on the floor is just an awesome added bonus.

Went on a Saturday afternoon as we very surprised to find Slate Creek as busy as it was. For good reason though. Their beers are quite good. Although they had run out of 3 of the beers, there was still plenty on tap. Funky little place with a good beer appreciation customers. I will for sure be back. Do the taster board.

Fun local brew pub. They only serve the beer they brew but the beer is pretty damn good. Norse Nector is my favorite. They don’t have food just beer but this place is really worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Nothing is more fun than going to a restaurant(or anywhere else for that matter) that encourages messiness! Slate Creek Brewing is just such a place! Upon entering we were crunching on peanut shells from patrons that previously and were still there. It is a part of the motif and the charm of the place to get beer and sit down by a bowl of peanuts and start chowing down along with your beer. But instead of doing it the proper way you just swipe the peanut shells off the table and onto the floor! We got the taster set here and they have a nice varied assortment, all of which tasted very good! My favorites was their Wingnut Brown and the Black IPA! I will be going back to drink more of my favorites here and to chow down on salty, tasty peanuts, swipe the shells on the floor and crunch them if nothing else! ;)

Great beers. They’re not trying to be too fancy or pretentious, they’re just doing some traditional craft beer styles very well. The Norse Nectar was a favorite. Great staff, very friendly. They’ll chat you up when it’s not so busy that they’re buzzing around. Wish they were open more often. Only negative is that their selection varies based on what they’re able to produce. Every time I’ve visited, they were out of a few varieties, but they’re a small brewery, so I can’t fault them for selling more than they can produce.
