I was just reading some of Emily M’s South Shore reviews and realized that I too, should review Holly Hill Farm. We love this place. First of all, it’s right off Jerusalem Road in Cohasset which is only like the most beautiful street in the world. Never been? Do yourself a favor and get in your car now and take a drive! Anyway, back to the farm. They have a few horses and chickens and goats, oh my. They have lots and lots of walking/hiking trails and you can bring your dog(though I shouldn’t have mentioned that because now I’ve given away one of my secrets of places where you can take your dog that not everyone knows about). It’s a functional vegetable farm and you can stroll through the grounds and see everything growing(when in season). You can also purchase all kinds of fresh produce here like lettuce, spring onions, heirloom tomatoes(and heirloom tomato seeds and/or plants as Emily mentioned) etc. More often than not, no one is there and you just take what you want and leave your $, a la the honor system. This is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re only like 20 miles from a major city and really, where else can you find a farm that is across the street from the Atlantic ocean?
