Days Inn College Park/Atlanta /Airport South

Our car was BROKEN into, sometime between 6am-​noon. We informed the staff, they told us to call the police and that theyre not responsible for anything stolen or damages car thats in THEIR parking lot. The manager quote «best western (next door) has more break in than us». Like thats support to make me feel better, and I highly doubt that because they have security. Though this Days inn seems bit shady because theres always ppl in and out of the hotel. non-​guest. Their staff are nice and friendly. The rooms were legit. Bit stuffy, not as clean as the other days inn Ive been to, but not disgusting. Breakfast starts from 6am-​9am, toast, oatmeal, cereals and coffee, nothing fancy. Like i said legit. One thing for sure they need to manage better care and safety for their visitors.

Granted, it was one of the «better» prices for hotels near the airport, however they could stand a thorough cleaning. The room was stuffy, surfaces had cup marks, bathroom could use a better cleaning, and the white towels with stains could have been removed from service.
Shuttle service from the hotel to the airport was disappointing. We were told to arrive prior to 6 AM to ensure we would catch the shuttle. We waited right beside the shuttle until past 6 AM, but there was no driver to be seen and nobody at the front desk to ask what was going on. We almost called a taxi, but I managed to find someone in the kitchen. She told me the driver should be inside the shuttle, even though he wasn’t. Turns out the driver had been in the lobby all along watching a replay of the NBA Playoffs… all at 6 AM… Getting on time to the airport is important and that service was unacceptable.
They get two stars because of pricing, but even that is being generous.

White «stains» on couch, stained/​cracked lampshades, dirty/​rusty shower, cracked toilet lid cover, stain of an iron on carpet, pillow without a pillow case, crumbs on couch, stains on furniture legs, trash behind furniture, and the coffee maker is just for «show», something about storage issues? I could barely sleep because I was so grossed out. And all for $ 72? I contacted Days Inn with no response. See the photos for yourself. I didn’t even pay for the place because my company did, so my complaints were never about getting money back in my pocket.

This establishment is only technically a «hotel» in only a literal sense that it has rooms with «beds». The bath tub has black mold throughout the caulking. There was a mysterious pink stain on a wash cloth and another yellowish stain on the hand towel. There was also three beers left in the freezer, not complimentary via the hotel by the way! (almost had the urge to drink them after looking at how dirty the bedding is!) There was hair in the bedding that was not ours. To sum it up, AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE NOT JUST YOUR MONEY, BUT YOUR HEALTH TOO!!!
