Waffle House

I love eating here when Chef James is here! He is fantastic and takes direction VERY well even though I’m a pretty picky eater and food orderer (yes, I made that up). I only eat there when he is there, other than that my order always gets messed up or isn’t made correctly.

I’ve only ordered take out, and hopefully, I won’t jinx myself by saying that all my takeout experiences have been pleasant.
Twice I’ve called in and within 2 – 3 minutes of arriving my food had was packaged and arrived. Once I ordered a double cheeseburger and ended up with two separate burgers, the lady told me that I ordered it incorrectly and if I want two burgers on one bun that I’m suppose to ask for it differently, I totally forgot how she told me to order it, but geez, isn’t it sorta self-​explanatory that a double cheeseburger is two burgers stacked together.
Once I walked in and ordered at the counter, it was about 8am and I commented that I must have just missed the morning dash, by the time my food was prepared and package to go, there were people sitting at four booths, and at least 3 other people waiting for the call out /​pick up orders. So that tells me that business can get brisk rather quickly.
How can you go wrong with the Waffle House.

While waiting for my takeout order I saw a roach crawl across the counter. Cancelled my order and left. I was very disappointed because I love Waffle House and was craving some hashbrowns.

This location is newer so it’s nice. The customer service was not good tonight. Between getting my orders wrong, and being rude. I was disappointed with the weak coffee also.

Was really very good. I ordered the waffle (of course) and it didn’t fail me. I ordered the jalapeño cheese biscuits and wasn’t impressed. It was early in the morning and everyone was nice and friendly. The place was not crowded. I would recommend.

Its a pretty standard waffle house. Staff is friendy and FAST!!! as the other reviewer stated, the waffles aren’t mind-​blowing, just standard fast food. I had eggs and grits with some toast, you cant go wrong with basic breakfast staples. Waffle house rules the breakfast market because they don’t charge 9 dollars for breakfast like other places. Will eat again and again!

so i made a trip to ATL with the Bf’s fam for a wedding. and every corner had a waffle house!!! lol. i was intrigued! I loveeee olé’s waffle in Alameda, CA, so i was hoping it would be just like that… Unfortunately, it was nothing special. Let’s break it down!
Atmosphere/​Dining Area: There aren’t seats available… maybe 20 – 25 people tops. It’s typical diner style.
Food: Reminds me of Denny’s. Maybe just half a notch better. Offers the usual fare, Breakfast options, burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes.
Service: People here are pleasant, helpful, and friendly enough. Not over the top friendly. Used «mam” a lot, definitely a southern thing, lol. none of that in Cali
Price: Cheap and affordable.
Overall, I was disappointed. I was realllyyyyyy hoping that the waffles were gonna be BOMB. but they just tasted like an average every Denny’s kinda thing. Oh well, at least now i can say I’ve been to a Waffle House in the AYE-​TEE-​ELL =]

Friendly and clean enough place, just off the highway. Great place for quientessential American breakfast fare, and this place doesn’t disappoint. Coffee, waffles, eggs, grits, biscuits and bacon (OR sausage), order up!
