Chef Cao’s

I’ve lived in Bryan college station for a little over a year now & I still had not found a good place that served Chinese food, until I tried this place. best place in town

Probably my favorite Chef Caos location.
I have never seen this one too cramped or crazy which is a plus for me.
Interior is well thought and clean. Maximum capacity with emphasis on comfort and efficiency for wait staff.
Service has always been exceptional here.
Food is very good. Not near the best Chinese I have had, but very well done for your typical American Chinese fare.
Price is definitely on point.
The lighting is a bit strange as it flickered like every minute…

Chef Cao’s is a staple in BCS. This was our first visit to the HEB TowerPoint location, and if say it’s the nicest location. Effort went into the plating, as there was adorable snail or prawn garnishes carved out of an orange wedge. Never experienced this at the University Dr location. I had the Honey Walnut Chicken and I was very pleased, however I discovered a very lengthy hair in the food. To their credit, they rectified it by not charging for the meal. But it did cost them a star. I still recommend!

Chinese food is usually very good anywhere you go and I never been so disappointed with Chinese food before. We placed an order for delivery and it took almost 2 hours to get to our house. The food was luke warm and look very unappealing. I got the sesame chicken that was disgustingly soggy, the wonton soup had no flavor and was shredded up (I was looking forward to the wonton soup because it’s my absolute favorite). My roommate got the kung pao and said the chicken was unappetizing. I would never recommended going to this restaurant. If your looking for good Chinese food I would go Tjins.

Excellent food at fantastic prices! Portion sizes are plentiful and always fresh. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Great for dining in or take out. Highly recommended!

Chef Cao’s is the best Chinese food I have ever had! It has the best fried rice and all of their prices are fair because they give you a lot of food in just one dish. It’s normally enough for two meals for me. If you order to go the wait time is about 5 minutes. I love Chef Cao’s and they have my loyalty!

I eat here at least once a month and the folks from my office eat here often between the different departments and everyone loves it. Have never received a bad meal not service. It has to be the must consistent restaurant that I’ve been too. Highly recommend it! You can’t go wrong with lunch menu. L1 Chef’s Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Triple Delight and Pepper Steak are always my favorites and consistent every time!

Spring rolls were nothing special. As a matter of fact they were pretty uninspired. Not much but noodles and half a shrimp with some runny peanut butter for sauce. Don’t bother with them.
Crab puffs were VERY average as was the sweet, sticky sauce.
Combo Lo Mein, not too bad, noodles could have spent less time in the pot but flavors and seasoning was good.

I stopped in during one of those dead zones that places like this get where there are no other customers in the place. I felt like a king. The waitress, the cook everyone came out to greet me and serve me. On top of that the food was excellent. Location is a little out of the way but the food was worth it.

We order takeout from here at least once a week, great food at a reasonable price. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. My son and I always get the pork fried rice, huge portions. Every time my wife gets sick we always get their egg drop soap.

Wasn’t super impressed until I tried the Singapore rice noodles… oooo mmm gggggg!!! So delicious! I am hooked.
