Was not impressed with the quality and size for the cost of the meal. All I could taste was salt on the burger to the point where it was almost inedible

Not your typical burger but certainly a delicious one. The meat is flattened out and crispy on the edges with a nice char. The shoe string fries have always been hot and delicious. Don’t forget the fry sauce to put on your burger and fries! Customer service has always been great and the drive thru is typically fast. Only downside is the size of the burger, it’s not so big. Hungry people may need two to get full.

Love coming here during the summer after a long day at the pool. Their fries and sauce are to die for, and pretty much every thing else on the menu as well. Staff is always nice. Love the décor of the place. I enjoy taking a step back in time when I go there.

The food here is decent. My bf and I enjoy coming to Freddy’s for their burgers and frozen custard, but I have to say the service can be inconsistent. I suppose it depends on who is working that day, but every other visit our orders are messed up. Not a HUGE deal, but very annoying when the order itself is simple(like no onions on a burger, and you still get onions). The fries are also ALWAYS cold or barely warm like they make a huge batch and just keep it under lights all day. The San Antonio locations are better.

I got there right at 10 pm when they were closing, so I ran in and asked if I could still get custard. They stood there with cleaning supplies in their hands, then with a smile said«Of course! I’d love to make some!». Awesome place :))

I love this place. The drive-thru girl Alex is a sweetheart. I had my Chihuahua Suki with me and Alex offered a «pup-cup»(scoop of vanilla ice-cream) for her. It was soooo sweet of her. The food was yuuuummmyyyy!!! We got the California double cheese burger, double patty melt, chicken strips, fries and onion rings and 2 Concretes(chocolate fudge and Hawaiian). OMG they were all great!!! Fries and their Fry sauce is a definite fave. There’s no after-taste from their onion rings. Concretes are flipping scrumptious. I’ve definitely found my favorite burger joint in Texas!!! You must try them!!!

The food was great & in a time where costumer service is dying to the hustle & bustle of the holiday season these guys went above and beyond! Thanks Freddy’s for making Christmas shopping a lot more fun!

The chili cheese fries were the family favorite as usual. The service was great today. Everyone greets you with a smile. The manager was out in the lobby, talking to customers. Even bringing napkins and helping people bring their orders to their tables. More restaurants should behave like this.

You can get a double, or you can get a single. Either way, you will probably be hungry at the end because these are about the size of a Mcdonalds burger. The concretes are good. However, the meal and a concrete will run you $ 13. I do like the concretes and the fries, the burgers and okay and price is pretty high. Positives fries, concretes Negatives burger(small in size and bland in flavor) price($ 13 for a combo and a concrete) On a side note, the mini sundae size is about the portion you get from a hot fudge sundae at Mcdonalds. The regular size is about double that, neither of which do I personally consider to be large.

Nice place. Fun 50’s feel. Similar to a Johnny Rockets or Steak N Shake. Sadly it’s no where near as good. Tried a burger. Super greasy. All I could taste was the oil. As per the ice cream. It was okay. Certainly not the best concrete I ever had. The pie they added(if any) was blah at best. Certainly not an amazing place. But maybe I went on a bad day. I’ll have to try again when I totally forget this terrible experience.

Food was mediocre. Fries were horrible, the patties aren’t even patties. The fries as skinny as they were, were actually skinnier than the patty. This is a more expensive but worse Steak ‘n Shake.

We ordered frozen custards, and while they took a while to get to us, they were delicious! They are proud of the fact that they don’t make your food until you order it,(which is much appreciated!), and so I don’t mind waiting(:

They have good vanilla custard that is reasonably priced: about $ 3 for a «mini”-sundae, which is actually not that«mini», but rather a substantial portion. Get your jacket, it’s freezing here. That’s probably to make sure the custard doesn’t melt too quickly.

Always good food and good service. The drive through is great. It can get noisy inside but not awful. I love the Fry’s and fry sauce. Burgers, hot dogs and chicken are all good. The custard is a great treat, but is not cheap.

Got the bacon double steakburger meal. It was good! The only thing I would say is that the patties are super thin. I recommend getting a double! The fry’s are like shoestrings, but still good! Fry sauce seems like a mixture of mayo and ketchup with seasoning in it. Definitely will try again now that I know what to expect!

It’s a good place for fresh hot burger and fries. Double patty bacon burger — no cheese. You shouldn’t waste your time on a single patty as they are super thin. Double patty might be equivalent to 1⁄6 lb burger, not quite a ¼ lb. because they are thin, they cook quickly and have a lot of flavor. They piled the mustard on tonight — so much so I had to remove the excess. Pickles were thick — maybe too thick for the size of the patties. Overall a decent burger. Fries are definitely worth the price of admission. Shoestring, little crispy but not burnt. Freddy’s seasoning sets them apart from other fries. I’ve had the hot Dog on another occasion. Came on a unique«bun» that I really liked. The dog itself was decent. The restaurant itself was clean, service was quick and friendly. Only giving three stars because I feel for the amount of meat you get it is a bit overpriced. Two meals were around $ 15. Tied me over until I got home from a long day on the road but will be needing a bedtime snack tonight.

Wow, this my new favorite place. Customer service is a HUGE thing for me. It can change my whole perspective on a place. I immediately walk in and they greet me. The two cashiers were so friendly. They suggested things to try. Super friendly! The food is great too! The fry sauce is amazing. I will be revisiting soon!

I like this better than In-n-Out. I like how they use those long pickles in their burgers, not the round ones that remind me of fake vegetables in the McDonalds’ burgers. Despite this, I would still go to Carter’s Burgers over this any day. PBC&B sundae was delicious. I could have done with a bit more banana slices, but the amount of Reeses’(they seemed larger than normal=yay!) was more than perfect. Such good decadence. Very good sundae, only thing was that it was not as custard-like as I was expecting. The vanilla custard base of the sundae just reminded me of ice cream in taste and texture. If it is custard, it should be… silkier, thicker, etc. Feels like a Ruby’s Diner or Johnny Rockets. Burgers, fries, frozen indulgences, diner atmosphere. Pretty much sums it up.
