Valentino pizza and pasta

This place is good!
The dough has a great taste & texture. It’s crispy, but also soft. We got the white pizza & it was great. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks, and the marinara sauce to dip was excellent!
Price is on par with other locally owned pizza places. Delivery was quick! We will order from here again!

Don’t waste your time on any other pizza place in the area. Seriously, unless you’re near grimaldis and have the budget, this is the best pie around. I’m from the Midwest and prefer a Chicago style thin crust. Specifically an ohio Pittsburgh style pie, but you’re not going to find that in town. Texans have not developed a taste for pizza, or there just coming up to it. Anyway check this place out.

The pizza really brought me back to when I lived in NJ. Really greesy, foldable and tasty. Nothing like some of the other texas chains, I am looking at you Nizza. Also, the owner (I believe he is the owner) was awesome and a fan of the same football team as me. Being that he is in texas I wont say which one but they are big mean and blue.

I ordered 2 pizzas to go today based on all of the raving reviews. The pizza was better than I anticipated, but not the best pizza I’ve ever had.
The pro’s: The thing I really enjoyed about this pizza was similar to what someone else said — the crust had a perfect balance between crispy and chewy. The sauce also had a great flavor. Those 2 components are extremely important in my pizza and theirs was good! The pepperonis were cooked perfectly.
The cons: The cheese pizza I ordered was a bit bland and I could have used a LOT more cheese — it seemed very skimpy on cheese and toppings overall. I also ordered extra sauce on both and didn’t feel like there was «extra». When I hear «New York» style pizza I guess I expect the slices to be very large, lots of cheese, and incredible flavor (that was my NYC experience). These slices are similar size as any chain pizza joint. The other things that were odd was they are pretty over priced for what you get (2 large pizzas for $ 35!!) And they only have 2 sizes to choose from (small or large).
Overall it was good pizza and I’m sure I will revisit them in my future. I say they are worth giving a shot if you want a nice change from the usual!

This is a pretty darn good pizza place for those of us who appreciate the real deal. The crust was the right amount of crispy yet chewy. The sauce had a little tang to it.
We had one of the supreme pizzas with a little bit of everything on it. There was a fair amount of toppings but I thought there could have been more sausage. The cheese was a good amount.
In this area of town there aren’t a lot of mom and pop, family owned pizza places opened on Sunday’s and this place is. Nice for sports events. We will frequent on Sunday’s when we are wanting a tasty pie. Lizzano’s is still our favorite but closed Sunday’s.

I will start out by saying that this is my first Unilocal review. That in no way takes away from my expert palate. My job takes me all over the world so I know food.
I tried Valentino’s pizza today. I won’t say what pizza that I tried because that doesn’t matter. What does matter is the freshness of ingredients and the care put into the preparation. The crust was perfect. Great chew, mild dough flavor, with a buttery finish. I didn’t ask but I can tell that this was hand tossed. Great place. Clean and friendly service. I will be back when my schedule allows. If want Authentic New York pizza look no further.

Amazing pizza place!!! I love the NY style thin crust and the right amount of salsa! We had the Supreme Pizza and I loved it!!!
Next time we’ll try the Hawaiian pizza. Can’t wait to come back! I love that this is a family owned restaurant! Keep it up!

The sauce! We came on the recommendation of my brother and were not disappointed. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was amazing. We really loved the garlic cheese bread. The service was awesome! We will definitely be back!

I visited Valentino’s because of its good reviews and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The buffalo pizza was unlike any other kind of pizza that I’ve ever tried, it was really good and saucy. Just be prepared for some serious heartburn! The owner is really friendly and inviting. Their menu doesn’t have a ton of options at the moment but they plan on expanding.

Finally, authentic North Eastern Italian flavor in Texas.
You simply must try this place hidden away in Colleyville in the Tara village shopping center. The best Italian food we’ve had in Texas, which makes sense as the owner cooked in an Italian restaurant in NYC for many years and brought that wealth of experience with him.
Pizza is unbelievable, and the sauce makes it. Try just a cheese or pepperoni pizza to really let that wonderful sauce shine thru. We had a side of meatballs that were delicious and the marinara served with them was fantastic, and unlike any other marinara we’ve had down here.
Texas does BBQ and Mexican food better than anywhere. Let the guy from New York handle your Italian cravings. Try it once and you’ll likely come back several more times. We’re going to try to force ourselves to try something different each time, but that pizza is soooo good.

This may be my new favorite pizza (and Stromboli!) place in the area.
The pizza is traditional new york style, thin, foldable but strong. Solid cheese and tasty and flavor packed sauce.
The Stromboli — amazing. My favorite of all so far. Super cheesy, from scratch dough, packed but not exploding. The dipping sauce is supreme. I would buy it by the quart all by itself.
The salad was good, fresh and crisp. The salad dressing had packed flavor, tangy but tasty.
The cheese-​bread was soft and delicious.
Overall we love it and will be making it our top choice for pizza pie nights.

We have driven past this place multiple times and finally decided to stop in over the weekend. As soon as we walk in we are greeted by the owner/​chef who introduces himself and his family. He explains the menu, the cooking process, everything… it really was a wonderfully personal touch. I end up with the Stromboli based on his recommendation and it was both huge and delicious. I had to take the other half home for lunch the next day and he gave me a hard time about not being able to finish. I also sampled my wife’s ravioli and the kids cheese pizza and both were equally superb. We will definitely be coming back here and I am happy to have a place like this so close to my house.

Best manicotti I have ever eaten, like my grandma makes! Homemade all the way, clean environment and fast service.

We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with Valentino’s, opened not long ago in the former location of a pizza place that didn’t make it. Let’s hope that locals discover how good this friendly spot is so that it will last a very long time. The owner had time to tell us his background and convinced us that he has the background and the will to bring tasty and quality food to his new bistro.
Our expectations were more than met and we are sure to return. One of the benefits of a locally run place is the willingness to customize to suit our tastes. We split a pizza, each half dressed the way both of us liked. I loved my mushroom, pepper, onion side and he said that his pepperoni was easily the best he has tasted. We will soon want to try a dish made with the homemade sauce. We enjoyed the rich tomato flavor of a sample we were given.
Prices are reasonable and we like being able to bring our own wine.

Love their pizza! It’s traditional NY style. Owner is super nice. Makes the BEST pasta sauce imaginable! Good prices for good food.

What a fantastic find! My fiancé’ and I have recently been committed to eating out at non chain restaurants. Anytime you try a new place, you are always hoping you made the right choice to eat there and support your local businesses. We definitely have found our new weekly pizza outing! It is BYOB which is something we love to find.
I had a party and ordered 4 different large pizzas… Cheese, White Cheese, Hawaiin, Buffalo Chicken. I have to tell you, each and every pizza was excellent and got great comments from our guests. I was asked where this pizza was from, etc. and told how great it was.
My review on each we tried.
Cheese-​so much flavor in just the perfect amount of cheese on this pizza. I don’t know how they do it, must be in some special seasoning. I don’t normally like cheese pizza, but this one is something special.
White Cheese-​WOW, so much flavor brought out by the cheese on this pizza. Very much different than the ‘cheese’ pizza I mentioned above. If you love the intense flavor of ricotta cheese and mozzarella, it really gets your attention on this one.
Hawaiin– Another perfectly done pizza. Perfect amount of cheese, canadian bacon, & pineapple. ALL the flavors were perfectly balanced which is sometimes hard to get with a hawaiin style pizza. I say it is the best hawaiin pizza I have ever had.
Buffalo — OMG! They are not kidding here. THIS IS EXACTLY what I have always thought a buffalo pizza should be. I have never eaten a buffalo pizza this good! If you like wings that have a little kick to them, this is what this pizza is like. The chicken with the buffalo sauce is so perfectly balanced with the cheese. Another slam dunk!
I had my pizza delivered without a hitch!
I never have been a huge pizza fan mostly due to the quality I have tried previous to this. When I did eat pizza, it was usually gourmet pizza places and only because I could never find a good pizza around. I can now take off my gourmet hat and enjoy fantastic pizza FINALLY DONE RIGHT!

This place is great! The pizza is really good, different from a lot of places around. They have a really unique flavor to their sauce, it’s a testament to all the work they do to make it!
It’s in the quaint Tara Village center, and super convenient for us to pick up on our way home or hop over to dine in.
The owner is super nice, helpful, and eager to make a great meal for you!

Two really good things about this place. First, most everything is homemade. It’s great to find a place that isn’t a chain and actually uses homemade fresh ingredients. The second, the owner is very nice, friendly and personable. I had heard many great things about this place and so I had to give it a try. They are family owned and moved here recently from New York where they had created a name for themselves since 1959.
The key to awesome NewYork pizza is the water that is used to make the dough. Unfortunately, they do not have that Magic NewYork water here in Colleyville.
They made a good pizza, we had a pepperoni pizza. It was a bit greasy which usually indicates a cheese that is not of high quality. It was tasty, but it wasn’t the New York pizza I hoped for and there are better pizza’s for less $ within 5 miles of here. I hate to say this because I REALLY like the owners and want this place to succeed.
They do fly in their cheesecake from NewYork which is a plus. Their Chocolate cheesecake is very yummy.
Their Salad was better than average for a pizza place.
All in all, I will be back. Not the greatest pizza in the area, but if you talk with the owner, they may be the nicest pizza place in the area. I also like to support family biz and fresh homemade food.

OMG… Oozy’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza is «to die for». Personal service excellent! Homemade pizza sauce Delicious!!!
