The food was good but the service was poor. When placing our drink order, the server asked if we wanted kid cups for the children. I said yes. His response was«Well, I’m really busy so tell them to drink slow.» And no, he wasn’t joking. I can only assume he was referring to the fact that he would not have time to constantly refill them. When I suggested he bring a cup or pitcher to the table so we could refill them ourselves, he ignored me. When placing our food order, I ordered my son the kids kitchen tenders with a side of pasta(the kids menu clearly states side item can be substituted for corkscrew noodles). The server ARGUED with me about how I was asking for two separate meals. Said he would have to ask management. Meal ended up coming out as I had ordered it. I realize everyone can have a bad day, but this seemed to be his general personality.

The food is always amazing! The service is always spot on! They have an open kitchen and you can even sit up in front of the kitchen and watch them prepare your food.

I ordered the whole wheat spaghetti which was amazing! The waiters and hostesses were very quick and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a quick and delicious meal with respectable staff. The restrooms were very clean!

This was my «meal» tonight and the manager stated that it waa 3onces of green beans and 7ounces of Filet. Seriously $ 26.00PLUSTAX. This restaurant need a reality check and FAST. The manager did NOTHING to resolve my issues. I suggested they at least use a smaller plate so guest can ar least THINK they are getting what they are paying for.

I’ve ate at several of these chains but this one by far is the best one that I have experienced. My wife and I both enjoyed the food and the service was outstanding

It was ok. It seems others in the chain were more friendly and more customer-oriented. The food was ok. Will go back if other options are limited. Just feel other Carabba’s are better.

Carrabbas is always consistent with its menu. Practically every entrée is good. Although, on this occasion there was one problem. the House Wine… Red. Tasted awful. Bad grapes. To add to the«insult»…$ 11 a Cortina! If the wine was good I wouldn’t be complaining about the price. So, either my tastebuds are out of sync or Carrabbas has a quality control issue.

Our server, Brandon L was not very good. First of all, he didn’t know what was in the minestrone. One of our party members had an onion allergy and asked him if there were onions in it. He said he didn’t know and would find out. He returned only to say there were«mixed vegetables» in it. Next, he was very impatient with one of our guests who did not speak English as her native language as she was trying to order. He forgot one of the soups and my cousin was left waiting for a good 5 minutes while the rest of us were working on our salads. The pacing was also off. Our entrees came out before we were half done with our soup and salads so we had a table full of dishes. The entrees should come out AFTER we’re all done with the salads and soups. It’s not like we took a long time to eat either. I mentioned earlier about one of the soups taking 5 minutes to come out after the others because our server forgot… well, the entrees came at the same time as that missing soup! Ridiculous! No explanation, no apology, no anything. So of course, by the time were finished our salads and soups, the entrees were cold from sitting on the table so long. Water took forever to get refilled and I could see our server just hovering around the kitchen window talking to the cooks and the other servers. No urgency whatsoever.

My second time here and I was not disappointed. The appetizers were delicious — we had the calamari, steak Flatbread, fried zucchini, and another dish I forget. It came out rather quickly which was nice. Our waiter was very considerate and came to check in on us so frequently sometimes we didn’t even realize our drinks had been refilled already! Great service! The chicken was cooked very well, not dry at all! Would not recommend anything with capparti if I spelled that correctly. The pasta was pretty good, not the best but very delicious. Would definitely recommend carabbas!

This Carrabba’s location is an easy walk from the nearby Marriott and greets visitors with a plaque outside the front entrance that politely says that guns are not welcome inside. Good to know!(Seriously, I am glad.) Service was flawless; we were greeted by the manager/owner. It happened to be «Wine Wednesday’ with $ 10 off all bottles, and one of the specials was a deconstructed pizza which basically meant a dip made of cheese and sauce. Because I had already eaten 1,000 calories in cheese dip, it was okay that the pasta dish was a bit of a watery cheese letdown.

For a chain this place over delivered. Service was prompt and personable. Food and drinks were spot on. I recommend the blackberry sangria and the chicken Bryan.

Very sad chicken Caesar salad. Portion you get looks like a side salad but cost $ 14. Guess this is what happens when you get something«to go.» Check out photo.

I don’t go to chain restaurants very much. After eating here with friends years ago I discovered I like the Carrabas experience. We met another couple here for dinner. We were seated quickly and our service was well timed and non intrusive for the meal. I tried the house salad and though unremarkable it was very good. Others tried pasta dishes and everyone seemed happy. Maybe not a wow experience, but a nice night out.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a chain restaurant kind of gal so the fact I am giving Carrabas 4 stars is noteworthy. I was speaking with a friend about good restaurants in Collierville and she surprised me by mentioning Carrabas, but told me the thing to do is take the kids and sit at the bar. They get to watch the pizzas being made, they get pizza dough to play with, AND a complimentary dessert(which they also get to see being prepared!). The lady working behind the bar that night was wonderful with them and, Karen, our server, was just lovely. Attentive, kind to the kids, helpful with recommendations and suggestions. Going out is-should be-a treat, whether you do it once a month or three times a week. That said, with our small kids I am always slightly uneasy in restaurants because while it is wonderful to have a break from being in charge of the meal, I worry we will spill or disturb other diners. At Carrabas our kids were so engaged with the sights and smells that we were relatively relaxed and able to enjoy our meal out. And Karen was so warm and thoughtful we felt welcome and taken care of. We will most certainly go back-great meal, warm service, and just a fun night out. Thank you!

Kayland was our courteous and attentive server. The sauce for the calamari was good, fresh hot bread. Good chic park and they have a $ 13 menu with seconds to share or take home. We only had to wait :15 minutes and everything came out hot and fresh. Justbwhat you expect from this chain, but the Collierville location is a cut above.

I’ve been going here for years at random times. I cannot believe I have not written a review already for here, but here goes. I came tonight with my family around 7. My parents and aunt and uncle sat in a booth and my sister, husband, and I sat at the Community Table. I will say this now, Do. Not. Sit. At. The. Community. Table. My parents had eaten dessert by the time we got our food. Part of that may have been that my sister and I both ordered new additions… but it even so, it was the longest wait I’ve ever had. I think the only reason we were as patient as we were was because our waiter, Dallas, was as excellent and entertaining as he was. He went above and beyond normal service and was probably the best, or one of the best, servers I have ever had. The Shrimp Diavollo tasted terrible at first, but after a few bites it started tasting better. It tastes better with the sace, so make sure to get some on each piece. The Pollo la Scala was terrible. The sauce was excellent! I loved it, but then the chicken was very plain. The contrast of excellent and tasty to then plain and tasteless was stark and saddening. The Lobster Macaroni and Cheese is basically noodles in cheese soup considering how poorly the pasta soaked up the cheese. My sister also remarked that the lobster bits were way to large as well but I’m not sure why she did not want to use her knife and just cut it up… I thought it was chewy but apparently that’s normal for lobster? The Italian sodas are ok but not really worth getting. Dallas mentioned that authentic ones come with cream or something like that. Maybe that’s what these are missing. I noticed the Chicken Trio portions were half of what they used to be for the same price. This made me sad, but I do understand. Even though the food was not very satisfactory today, I’ve been here enough times and had enough decent food(Pollo Rosa Maria is my absolute favorite thing!) that today’s stuff did not knock the rating down. Update 2015: They have remodeled the inside and replaced the huge booths with smaller ones. Dallas is still there and still awesome. Notes: ~ Ask for Dallas! He is an excellent, charming, and awesome waiter.(and is still there!) ~ The Community Table is one at which you can be seated with other groups of people for when they run out of regular tables and booths. My experience may have just been a bad one, but I found the service here to be significantly slower. ~ They serve the bread with olive oil, but will bring out butter if requested. To Try: — Tuscan Strawberry Salad — Italian Chopped Salad — Mahi Wulfe — Cavatappi Franco *** — Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka — Linguine Positano — Tuscan-Grilled Chicken — Arancini(appetizer) Love: — Antipasta Plate — Calimari — Cavatappi Amatriciana(side; fav) — Dessert Rosa — Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette — John Cole(dessert) — Mozzarella Marinara — Sauage and Lentil Soup(fav!) — Sogno di Cioccolata«Chocolate Dream» — Steak Marsala — Tag Pic Pac Chicken — Zucchini Fritte Ok: — Caesar Salad — Chicken Marsala(hubby fav) — Chicken Trio — House Salad — Pollo Rosa Maria — Shrimp Diavolo Ehh: — Bruschetta Caprese — Chicken Bryan — Creamy Parmesan Dressing — Italian Soda Orange — Italian Soda Raspberry — Lobster Mac n Cheese — Mama Mandola’s Sicilian Chicken Soup — Mini Cannoli — Pollo la Scala — Pollo Sorrento(didn’t like the cheese) — Tiramisu

I went to dinner here last night after visiting with a customer in the Memphis area. The aervice was good and ny waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. They had a special which he did not mention but my hostess did tell me about it when she sat me at my table. The Pollo Rosa Maria was outatanding. By far my favorite dish at this restaurant. There was no wait when I arrived. Some of the regulars praised the specials so be sure to check that out if you are in the area and stop by.

It’s a chain but the service is always consistent; the food quality is always good. One thing I’ve noticed is they tend to go over board with the salt. We’ve had their fried calamari many times and it’s very good but always on the salty side. This last visit was very nice,; we had their mussels for our appetizer, the fish special and a pasta dish. Everything was very good and our server was wonderful. The pasta dish I had is always on the menu, can’t remember what they call it but it’s basically a Linguine ai Frutti di Mare, Seafood Linguine. Mussels, shrimp and scallops over linguine with a red sauce. It was very good. My dinning partner had the fish of the day, which she loved. I think it was called«Wolf Fish». Not a nice looking fish in person but it was prepared nicely. We live very close to this restaurant, so it’s always been a nice place to go for dinner or just a glass of wine and an appetizer.

As usually the service was great along with the food. I had linguini pescartore substituting chicken breast for the mussels. They did not charge me the $ 2 they sometimes charge for the substitution. The wife had cabatabi(a side dish she orders as dinner) and it was very good as usual. The dessert was fantastic! It was a blackberry cobbler(I think it was cobbler) with ice cream on top.
