If you MUST go to a Macy’s in the Memphis area, go to this one! It is, especially in the shoe department, a bit more expensive than the others I feel like. But the sheer amount of SPACE! There is room to walk! Room to breathe! No need for a shot of alcohol here. Just a Macy’s card and a prayer that your paycheck comes sooner than later.

I’ve been to many Macy’s stores and this on doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great store with a large open layout and fairly large selection of shoes, clothing, and accessories throughout, and friendly staff to help with all your shopping needs. Can get super crowded during big sales but that is to be expected.

Hey, it’s Macy’s, so if I have a coupon and there is a sale going on you bet I’ll be there! This location is better than others, it’s more organized and less crowded.

Decent macys with friendly employees who come up to ask you if you need help with anything. Lots of selection and decent sales.

Obviously, you can review many things about a department store. So let’s cut to the chase and say I’m reviewing the service. I went during the recent ice storms. And the place was quite empty. Seems no one ventured out on the treacherous streets. Even so, there was a most wonderful staff who didn’t seem at all annoyed with having to work on such a dreary evening. They were very cordial and helped me find what I needed, even suggesting discounted and sale items. Macy’s has always been very service oriented every time I’ve shopped there.

Huge and beautiful store but nothing really wowed me. Clothes and interior presentation(particularly the men’s department) scream disarray and boring.

Shoes: The shoe department has a nice selection. Decently priced. They usually have a nice sale rack/room. I rarely see salespeople when I need them. Rather than searching for them, I take it as a sign that I don’t need more shoes. Make-Up: I don’t shop here for make-up because the last time I did, the sales lady was incredibly pushy, tried to tell me I needed a different color for my base(I didn’t), told me I shouldn’t wear red lipstick because pink was more popular, and seemed extremely exasperated that I was bothering her. I regret buying anything from her, but unfortunately I did. Fragrance: Their selection isn’t as big as it could be. I’ve gone looking for fragrances a few times and been disappointed. Clothing: Perhaps I’ve missed a section of the store, but it seems they only have two clothing sections for women: cheap and expensive. The cheap clothing is in the junior’s section and most of it doesn’t appear to be the best quality, but it is extremely affordable. On the opposite end of that, there are beautiful outfits that look and feel very nice, except they start at $ 150 and go(way) up from there. Shouldn’t there be a middle ground? Perhaps there is and I haven’t seen it, but it should be easier to find!
