We just went there for breakfast. We had great service from our waitress. Our coffee never got cold. Surprising the food was really good. We look forward to going back for some lunch or dinner food sometime soon.

Great service. Fantastic home-cooked food at reasonable prices. Lots of variety. Many items made from scratch

Very tasty fries and clean fresh burger. The burger was full of flavor but not greasy, it did not leave you with the heavy sick feeling of many burger joints. Not saying it’s health food just much much better than prefab junk. It’s been a few weeks still really like this place. Trying breakfast today.

This place is not aesthetically pleasing but that’s not why you go to a diner like this. We tried the western and Mexican skillets today and both tasted great. There was so much food on the skillet that we took half of each home with us. The waitress made sure my coffee cup was never empty and checked in us an at appropriate times to ensure everything was good. She did an excellent job explaining how they use fresh product and make everything in house and hand bread Their fried products. I am definitely going back because the couple behind us seemed to thoroughly enjoy their burger. I give a four star only because the place does bed to be cleaned up just a bit.

This diner recently opened. The owner is giving it the old college try. He was there as the captain of his ship when we ate there. We ordered two egg rolls, a meatloaf special and a chicken fried steak special, and two Diet Pepsis. Each meal came with a trip to the salad bar. It’s a small salad bar but is configured well. Six different kinds of salad dressings. Lettuce, broccoli, fresh mushrooms, etc. Our biggest concern with it was when the restaurant got busy they were carrying bags of produce directly to the salad bar and restocking it. We thought it would have been better if they had carried restocked items in their serving pans back in the kitchen and just carried the pans to the salad bar. It just looked unappetizing to see one of the servers wrestling with all those produce bags. The meatloaf was excellent — a pretty big slab of meatloaf. It was covered in a brown gravy that tasted like it had come from a packet. The chicken fried steak was excellent, too. Crispy batter. Nice and hot. The cream gravy was well-seasoned and was far beyond the brown gravy in flavor. We ordered vegetable sides: Spinach and green beans. Both tasted like they had been sitting in a large container waiting to be dished into bowls. Both had bacon, but because they had been warming for so long, there wasn’t much real bacon flavor to be had. These items should be prepared fresh in smaller batches. The sides were slightly more than lukewarm. My wife poured at least a half cup of water out of her spinach into her empty salad bowl. Please drain the veggies before you serve them. Each entrée came with a healthy serving of mashed potatoes. They were served warm, but not really hot to match the temperature of the meat items. The two egg rolls were a bit questionable. The components inside tasted good but the rolls tasted like they may have been doubly fried. They were not crispy on the outside, but just kind of mushy. If they had been prepared properly they would have been much better. We will probably come back and try the diner again to give them a chance to get situated in about a month.
