Wow! We LOVE this office! They are amazing with kids and the office is soooooo kid oriented!
I love my dentist and almost took my
Kids there, but I’m SO glad we went with Dr. Kollman instead! He was highly recommended to us by a friend who also takes her children there and I could see why as soon as we got there.
They are pretty timely on their appointments, but if you do have to wait, the waiting room is filled with things the kids love to play with… including a built in fort/​tree house thing. (Minus the tree!)
They encourage the kids to be independent and go back without parents if the kids are old enough. My son was 3 at the time and I didn’t think he would go for it… but they put him at ease and he was so proud that he did it on his own.
The doctor gave good advice… things you wouldn’t typically think of as obvious for a child. He’s very high energy and it’s obvious that he loves what he does. He even got out a puppet and told jokes with the kids on our way out just to get a laugh.
The kids think going to the dentist now is a special treat and they don’t see it as a chore or unwanted task. I think finding the right dentist and office has made all the difference in this. Whew!
