I like Ace stores and this is the best one even though it certainly is not the largest. Staff is very friendly, know and great my dog, seem to have most everything I need and are always ready with a suggestion when I get stuck. And I am a pretty accomplished handyman, so I don’t get stuck on the easy stuff.
I also shop a lot at the big box lumber stores, Ace doesn’t sell lumber, and in comparing prices I have been surprised how most times Ace is the better deal. The big boxes do beat Ace on bulk electrical goods like full rolls of wire and junction boxes, but plumbing, handicap rails, screws and garden equipment Ace is the place. I also can get my paint selected and mixed faster than any big box or paint store and it is excellent quality.

The staff here is really helpful. The prices are OK when you have a coupon and or a special. Not sure how bad the neighborhood is, they often have a security guard at the door.

Love this store. The staff are wizards. After I got the new dryer cord home I had a question about how to install it and by golly the first person to answer the phone walked me through it. I wish ALL hardware stores were as friendly, knowledgeable and funky as this one.

Ya know this is an old school hardware store. Did they have the tiny screw I needed to fix my antique briefcase? Yup. Did I buy a bunch of weird crap that I kind of needed while I was in there? yup. I like the small box scene.

I have never been disappointed by the Bön Shopping Center Ace. These folks know what they are doing and what they are talking about (lots of former contractors on staff). It’s a small stow so they don’t have everything on hand. This store is well worth the slightly higher price compared to the big box stores.

this is my favorite ace hardware i’ve ever been too. i think ace does a really good job with employee training in the customer service department, but this store really takes the cake. you walk in, people greet you and direct you where you need to go. i’m awful with home maintenance and have no idea how to deal with a lot of problems that kind of pop up – and the staff here have always been really understanding of my complete LACK of do-​it-​yourself ability and tell me what i need to buy and how to use it at home.
i love the staff here so much! plus, safeway is (practically) right next door, big time convenience.
