Love the chill modern atmosphere! Great for studying and chatting. Awesome pastries! Love the spicy chai, the Momma Donna, and the Cubano! Good service but they close to early for my liking, wish I could study into the evening…

I’ve been looking for a coffee/tea shop in the Colorado Springs area for literally 10 years that could make a ½ mint, ½ matté Mocha or Latte drink. This place has the loose tea and espresso machine to make it and I have to say, this was the best one I’ve ever had. My wife gave the drink a new awesome name, The Thin Mint Matté, which you should ask the barrista ‘Jeff’ for or ask the owner Andy. Definitely check out this lovely little shop that has great sandwiches and a great atmosphere!

While their food and baked goods are pretty tasty, speed is not their forte. They could work on that for sure. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a quick bite, it will take 10 – 15 mins to get even a to go order. Otherwise, if you’ve got the time, try it out!

While visiting Colorado Springs we decided to grab a bite to eat downtown and came across this little gem. The soup was amazing, the sandwiches were delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We took our tea to go. The green tea with peppermint was yummy! We will be going back for sure!

LOVED Bella’s. Stopped in for lunch for the first time today w/hubby and son. Coconut veggie soup was fantastic. Empanada with ground beef, hard-boiled egg, and olive was amazing. Meatballs were divine. Customer service was warm & friendly. Running out of praiseworthy adjectives! We’ll be back.

I really loved this place. We were looking for a smoothie shop but found out we were on the wrong street. Didn’t have much time since we only put 25 cents in the meter so we ran into Bella’s. I am so glad we did. The smoothies were amazing. Just perfect. I also had to have a bagel since I was in there and that was great too. Service was so wonderful. The leftovers from our smoothies was given to a little girl who was also eating inside the Bistro which I thought was really nice that it wasn’t wasted. Though the smoothie was so good I selfishly wished it had been given to me!

Fantastic place for a comfortable cup of coffee with friends The zombie drink is super delicious and I will be back over and over for another one or two or three. I also want to try something to eat, since we only tried the peanut butter cookies, which were huge and they hit the spot.

I am from the East Coast where the Bakery’s are the best… So I will agree I am a little hard on Bakery’s, did not like what I got at all, cupcakes(pumpkin) chocolate cookies, and another cookie that was kind of crispy with I thought had a cream in it but it was like a dough ball in it, that was the worst.

How about a cookie? Take a little lookie? Get some nookie? I don’t know about the nookie, I mean I didn’t make any moves, but I sure felt the love at this little bakery in Colorado Springs. Another shop in the downtown area turned me on to Bella’s, who had provided some cookies for their grand opening. So I decided I would make an extra stop before getting back on the road again. Glad I did! They had a ton of cookies, very large most of them and quite inexpensive, ranging .50 cents to $ 3 at most(per item). I picked up a variety including a gingerbread man, molasses cookie, pumpkin chocolate chip, and an oatmeal chocolate chip. We didn’t care for the molasses(too strong for us), but the rest were good. Especially good were also the berry cookies provided for the other store’s grand opening, which were also for sake in the actual bakery of course. I didn’t buy any since we’d already tried them but I must admit they were my favorite of all. And now a word regarding their cinnamon rolls. I am not really a cinnamon roll person(except Cacao’s specialty rolls), but these babies were so pretty, huge and cheap, I had to get one for my husband. When we got home, we heated up this pie plate size roll(and actually in a pie plate) in the oven and it was damn good. It was only $ 3 and 3 – 4 servings at that! Definitely go for the cinnamon roll. You can fight over who gets the center most piece, cuz that’s where it’s at, baby! Bella’s is located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs, with lots of shopping all around you. It has home-made goodness, a warm atmosphere and lots of tables, and I’m pretty sure free wifi, as well. I understand they have delicious coffee, drinks and smoothies, and sandwiches which I did not get to try. I fully intend to explore further on my next visit. Maybe I can also get a little nookie, too? ;)

Very nice little bakery and café in downtown Springs. All the food is homemade. I ordered a meatball sandwich that was delicious. The owner was there and was super friendly. I’ll have to come back for a pastry. I hope this places markets itself a little more to get a bigger client base!

Went there for lunch today and had the egg salad. The sandwich was very good and it was a very good bang for the buck. I’m enjoying my cannoli now. It’s delicious.

I’ve been here twice. First time I had the Italian sub, perhaps called a deli sandwich. It was quite good, very tasty. A lot of bang for the buck. A couple of days ago, stopped in and had the three meatballs with a piece of French bread. Again, very flavorful and filling. Will return for the food and friendly staff. Clean and tidy restaurant.

If you want the best italian meatballs and most delicious sauce you have ever had, then head straight to downtown Colorado Springs to Bella’s Bakery and Bistro. My Husband I and were looking for something different and unique and decided to try Bella’s after hearing about it on the radio. We were not disappointed!!! We originally just popped in for some coffee and dessert, which were wonderful too. We shared a cinnamon roll and an apple turnover. Both were delicious. The cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of cinnamon and yummy icing. And the apple turnover was out of this world. It was made out of puff pastry and just melted in your mouth. Before we left, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Katherine, who said she had just added the italian meatballs to the menu that day and gave us one to try. Wow!!! It was amazing — the best meatball and sauce we had ever had. We liked it so much that we put in an order for some to take home for dinner. I also want to mention Lulu. She works at Bella’s and was very helpful in helping us «first timers» know what goodies to try. She made our first visit there so enjoyable. The prices at Bella’s Bakery & Bistro are so reasonable. We couldn’t believe how much food you got for the money. It is well worth a trip to downtown Colorado Springs for some of the best food you will ever eat!!!
