I absolutely love my job and I love working here. This place picks me up when I’m down. I’m so happy to get to work with such talented amazing artists.

I had gotten my hair cut from a women that just came out of school and she did a very poor job at cutting my hair. I called Mary Pat Rogers and she colored and cut my hair she saved my hair. And she explain what most likely happen with this women and she was very kind to this women never cutting her down. I respect people who show kinds. I will always go to Mary Pat. My hair is so cute and has shine. If you are looking for a awesome hair style head to Twisted Bohemian It is well worth the money.

Having one of those bad hair days last year I Unilocaled my way to the Twisted Bohemian because the name suited me. Mary Pat was my stylist and she did such a good job I’ve driven 4 hrs twice more to have her cut my hair. This last week I opted for a big change. Mary Pat was great about working WITH my wavy hair and tutored me on styling so it would look like the picture I’d brought along. Mary Pat knows hair!!! She also listens in to your personality (if that makes any sense) to give you a style you can work with. Thank you, thank you Mary Pat.

I’m extremely picky and meticulous when it comes to my hair, and I’m always nervous going to someone new. Nervous and terrified. And anxiety-​ridden. And having nightmares of horrible haircuts and colors that never grow out. (When you go to a new stylist and are very clear that you want dark brown cool-​toned hair with NO red to it, and you come out a redhead, it’s only natural to be slightly trepidatious about new people touching your hair).
I’m in CoSprings temporarily, and having not had my long hair trimmed in 6+ months, I needed a haircut badly. After reading the positive reviews on Unilocal,I thought that I’d take a chance and make an appointment with Becky. I told her that I just wanted to take a few inches off my long hair, because it was really weighed down with dead ends, and told her that I wanted long layers — nothing too crazy or complicated. Even though what I wanted wasn’t too involved, it’s easy for stylists who don’t know what they’re doing to mess that up.
Happily, though, Becky was extremely thorough with everything she did – she made me feel comfortable as she went along, telling me what she was doing with my hair. She was also very sweet and good-​natured. She gave me a beautiful haircut, with nothing to be upset or afraid about, haha. I absolutely love the cut and it’s one of the better ones that I’ve had. Thank you Becky! :)

Really love the place!

I have been looking for a stylist since moving from San Diego. I stumbled across Twisted Bohemian while trying to find a stylist to fix a terrible haircut from another local salon. I was able to make a reservation for a few days later with Mary Pat. I had some trepidation, because I was with my San Diego stylist for 8 years. I walked in hating my hair, but walked out LOVING my new haircut! My hair felt vibrant and bouncy with softened layers — Mary Pat transformed my hair with a cut! She even had to take off several inches from the length to fix the blunt and choppy layers. She took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve with my hair and she delivered. I loved my cut so much that I also made an appointment to have her highlight my hair. Her coloring technique added depth and shine to dull hair. Most important is that my hair feels so healthy and full! If you are looking for a talented stylist that listens to her clients, then I would recommend Mary Pat! I’m so happy with the overall experience with Mary Pat and Twisted Bohemian and to have found my new salon!!!

Love the vibe in this salon and the people are really nice… BUT…the picture on the left was what I wanted and the picture on the right is what I got after two treatments a month apart. Not even close in my book.

Becky kind of just made me feel like I had shitty hair, and she did a poor job coloring it and tried to play it off as my fault for asking what I wanted. Just because my hair is two-​tone doesn’t mean you make the blonde side 5 different shades of blonde. My roots are very brassy and I’m unhappy, but I’m not sure whether or not to go back because it just made me feel so bad about myself when she called my hair frizzy, after she frizzed it up by applying too much heat. When I go out to get my hair done its because I want to treat myself and boost my self esteem.

We have lots of fun. Awesomeness with the salonness. Let get down with our bad selves. Ouch

Mary Pat Rodgers is awesome! She listened to what I wanted and had great insight. I would definitely recommend her to all!

Beckie did an awesome job coloring and cutting my thick hair. She’s so friendly and easy to talk to. I’m really glad I found this place. I will definitely be going back to Beckie for my future haircuts. Also, the pricing here is very reasonable, which is always a big plus :)

I wanted to thank Beckie for doing such a great job for me. I went to another salon prior to going there and the lady wouldn’t even see me. I knew my hair was fried from going platinum blonde, but Beckie didn’t even hesitate. She was such a sweetheart (mainly because she was from the south). So thanks again Beckie. Beckie completely fixed my hair! I came in with a disaster on my head from another salon, and she did a fabulous job hiding and fixing all of the mistakes the other stylist made. She was so kind and welcoming. I really appreciated everything she did for me today! :) My hair looks great now!

I’ve been a client of Jasin’s for 10 years now. I followed him as he left another salon to start Twisted Bohemian up. And that dream of his, has been a huge success. Jasin has promised me that he would never die, because I don’t know what I’d do without him. I get constant compliments on my hair, and he truly cares about the health of my hair. My hair is healthy, happy AND vibrantly colored due to his attentiveness and knowledge base. I refer more people here than I feel like I should, because Jasin is so booked out. (Tip: book your next appointment after yours ends to keep from waiting. They’ll text/​email you a reminder too)
This is not your average salon. The atmosphere is calm, laid back and ALL of the stylists and even the nail tech talk to me when I go in. They all are so friendly and truly seem to love being there. The conversation is guaranteed to win over any place around the springs. The décor itself is a massive conversation just waiting to happen. (And there’s a free pac-​man arcade game!!!)

I’ve been going to the Bohemian for years and the owner, Jasin, styled my hair prior to opening up this salon. It has a funky, downtown feel with friendly, responsive and talented staff members! Kid friendly, plenty of parking.
Great place to be and I always leave happy with my style.

Fifteen years ago, I made an unforgettable, very grave hair mistake. I was tired of my jet-​black dyed hair and ready to go back to my normal dark brown. A friend swore to me that just a little bit of hair bleach would strip it right out and I’d be back to my original color in no time. I tried it. No change. So I tried it again. After washing it out I discover my hair is brown alright — as well as shades of everything from the original black dye to banana yellow. Not streaks. *Patches.* I cried. And cried. And said many words unsuitable for a Unilocal review. My mom suggested I go to the salon where Jasin was employed, as she’d seen «girls with cute hair» leave there. It was fate? serendipity? love from the hair heavens? that my appointment was scheduled with Jasin. Not only did he correct my color (I think he is must possess some sort of magic) but also gave me an amazing cut. I was thrilled when he opened the Twisted Bohemian and even though I no longer live in the Springs, I often times go a little too long without a cut simply so I can have Jasin work his wonders when I visit home.
