First time here. While the build-your-own bowl and Bento box meals were fresh & tasty, I was disappointed. The main Tokyo Joe’s website menu had a classic ramen bowl. Here, there is aYakitori bowl using ramen noodles, and another soup bowl(Gen. Joe’s), no ramen soup. The girl at the counter seemed surprised when I asked. Seeing as we came because we wanted ramen, it was a disappointing visit. The staff was polite and service was quick and made to order. We’ll likely be back, just not for a ramen craving. :-(

I love this place, but it takes forever to get my food. My last visit took 20 minutes because the ladies working were more interested in gossiping than making my sushi.

Fast, fresh food! This food is consistent, the sauce is good and the veggies are amazing. Who knew that vegetables could taste that great! I am absolutely in love and could eat them all by themselves… Sometimes i do. The restaurant is clean and the prices are right. I was scared to try the sushi, this being a chain restaurant and all but I was pleasantly surprised by that too.

I got teriyaki chicken with white rice and vegetables. my boyfriend got the ramen bowl. both of us loved it and the servings were so big we got full. however I had earl grey tea and there were a bunch of tea leaves floating around in it– come on.

4 people on the register, one person cooking, no one happy. The wait for to-go food is way too long. This is my first time here. I still have no idea what the food is like 20 minutes later. Update, I got the salmon bowl. Salmon was good, everything else was horrible. I will not be back.

I was super excited about this restaurant, I love Japanese. I’d never been before, just have heard about TJ’s. I stopped going, each visit just felt like I was throwing money away. The orders were wrong with take out, and everything sorta just tastes bland. I like the cold tea drinks and the won ton dessert style sushi, but can’t make myself go back.

Go to the Nevada location. Much better, the Academy location is awful. My order is always Wong. Last time my food was given to another table, and while they ate my entrée, they were given the correct food, meanwhile I got an apology and dried chicken. Tried the other location on Nevada… MUCHBETTER– 5STARS

Their employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Their food is also great for a vegetarian, and affordable.

A starter is supposed to come out before the meal; not withe meal. Ok so the food tastes okay. That’s good; not great. A little pricy but okay. Décor is industrial chic. Okay. Outdoor tables with a view of Pikes Peak. Better than okay. I had the yakitori bowl, edamame and water. $ 11. Okay. Got it? It’s okay.
